+CziffraTheThird Albert Gräfle (1807-89), German genre painter.. ('Beethoven playing the piano whilst Anton Schindler, Sigmund Anton Steiner, Abbe Stadler and Gottfriede van Swieten listen intently to the music')
Barenborn murders this piece. This particular rendition is by Anton Kurti. If you search Barenborn Adagio same piece, its totally different. Nowhere near as magical.
@MorganKai haha. sorry i dont mean to correct you but i just thought id say... nobody says 'hipster' anymore! haha, i know what you mean though. nobody who has musical taste would give this a thumbs down!
Better than this would not be too hard to organise, but if you want Beethoven as "trancendental", people who listen to this should next listen, several times to really get it, to the second movement - the Arietta - of the Sonata Opus 111. That music truly is extraordinarily beautiful. The last string quartets are pretty good also.
@Aletheophile Does minute 2:50 has to do with your comment than? I think you should listen at all this piece and if you find it quietly it's the same as if I say " I find white ( color ) empty !"
nice to hear something civilized on youtube! keep up the good work. cheers.
DAIM. This is the most beautiful recording of this utterly awesome piece of music.
Someone needs to tell me what this phenomenal painting is called! Anyone? And the artist of the artwork aswell??
