You know you are making the videos for other people to see. And you walk right past the stuff that you’re not interested in. It’s not all about you. You have other people, but would like to see.
This swap meet is literally the largest in the world 21 miles up and down the isles.. I walked at least 50 miles over 3 days doing the best I could.. it's impossible to show every item here as that would take years to film it all so yes we pass by a lot but we also show a lot.. This is a video to give people a rough idea what the place is like if they haven't been and are thinking of going.. We traveled a 3000 mile round trip and went thru a lot of effort to go so hopefully some enjoy it but we can't please everyone.
@@DolloffAntiquesI thank you for your time, just on the items you showed my wallet would have been emptied thanks for the trip down memory lane, even if you did this on your own you would've walked past alot unless you had a mission!
sure enjoyed the tour and your knowledge of the many brass era cars, what i shockingly noticed was the lack of young folks interested in the hobby . makes me fear for the future of the hobby and their value in the long run. 🤨
Yup 1500 miles but I have done fall Carlisle and Hershey both for the last 30 years.. I do go to eastern Ohio at times but everything is very rusty at the yard there.
Prices at Hershey are all over the board.. You just have to put the time and effort in to find the deals.. I traveled 1500 miles one way to go find deals at Carlisle and Hershey and it was well worth the ride..
Thanks for the tour, very enjoyable 😊awesome 😊great looking brass era cars, fabulous old bicycles 😊you are correct about the good old USA made tools, they will last multiple lifetimes.
Moultrie GA, Pomona Ca, Carlisle Penn, Louisville Ky streetrod nations, Louisville Ky worlds largest indoor swap meet in March just to name a few, keep up the good work!@@DolloffAntiques
Hershey has 9,000 vender spaces Moultrie has 4500 Carlisle has 8100 if full but Fall Carlisle never fills anymore like it used to (we do this swap meet as well. Louisville Street rod nationals claims 350 vendors.. Another one we do is Iola,wi and that has 4,000 vendor spaces.. All of these are easy short of the Hershey Swap Meet which is 21 miles up and down the isles compared to Carlisle which is 14 miles of isles so half again as big.. It's simply huge by far the largest not only in the usa but also the world.. Even Google agrees.. 😆
HELLO FROM SYDNEY ON THE NEXT VIDEO CAN YOU SHOW MORE ON CAMPING GEAR ETC AND OLD HAND TOOLS INCLUDING ANY SADDLERY ITEMS FROM THE HORSE DRAWN ERA. I ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO THE HERSHEY SWAP IS VERY SIMILAR TO OUR SUPER SOUTHERN SWAP MEET AT BALLARAT VICTORIA AUSTRALIA WHICH IS ON HOLD TEMPORALLY DUE TO VENUE SITE AT THE AERODROME. I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE VIDEOS FROM YOU JT.
Thanks for the great video, I have not missed a Hershey swap meet in 15 years but unfortunately two days before the meet i got the wuhan and was unable to go. Watching your video made it a little less painful not being there spending money.
I havent been in quite a few years and the crowds look very thin. We used to set up in the red field and my buddy was there and said he didnt sell much.

A long ways from home for you. Southeastern Ohio has a couple of good salvage yards
Yup 1500 miles but I have done fall Carlisle and Hershey both for the last 30 years.. I do go to eastern Ohio at times but everything is very rusty at the yard there.
Interesting video but it would be a lot more interesting if you mentioned the prices instead of just what the item is
Wish I could walk Thanks to you I can’t still enjoy Many thanks
Was there any 1938 Chevy pickup parts there. I am in need of a 38 Chevy pickup grill
Those above retail prices, worth it prices turn me off.

21miles!! i caddy at a golf coarse and a round is about 6/7miles. so 3 rounds of golf to get round hershey! Thats a solid walk over 3 days!
Thanks for the tour, very enjoyable 😊awesome 😊great looking brass era cars, fabulous old bicycles 😊you are correct about the good old USA made tools, they will last multiple lifetimes.
Thanks! We have the show cars coming on tomorrow evening.. Lots of amazing cars..
If there was a way to go live , buy peoples needed parts that you see, and then ship them out id be sold
There are several swap meets around the country that are bigger than Hershey but your video is great!
Could you please inform us of what they are? I have never heard of any bigger ones..

Thanks for the great video, I have not missed a Hershey swap meet in 15 years but unfortunately two days before the meet i got the wuhan and was unable to go. Watching your video made it a little less painful not being there spending money.
