Here’s my top 10: 10: Syrus vs Chazz (It’d be interesting to see who was more deserving of ranking up to Obelisk Blue) 9: Zane vs Aster (Essentially a practice duel between the two before they storm the Supreme King’s castle) 8: Axel vs Jim (Jim’s spirit would appear in Axel’s dreamscape and duel him to restore his confidence) 7: Sartorious vs Nightshroud(Darkness) (This would shed some light on how Sartorious fell under Nightshroud’s control) 6: Jesse vs Yubel (This would occur in Jesse’s mindscape as a battle for control of his body) 5: Alexis vs Blair (This would be a funny, yet awkward duel for Jaden to witness) 4: Syrus vs Chumley (A duel between Jaden’s first buds to see how far they’ve come) 3: Syrus vs Crowler (Would naturally occur after Jaden Graduates, and would be interesting to see) 2: Aster vs Sartorious(season 4) I’m curious what would’ve happened if Aster battled Sartorious in season 4 instead of Jaden) 1: Zane vs Supreme King Jaden (Would likely have occurred if Axel didn’t draw his duel and instead lost against Supreme King Jaden)
I honestly would've liked a duel between Jaden & the Supreme King set right before Jaden confronts Yubel in Jesse's body. The Elemental Heroes vs the Evil Heroes. Jaden would play very passively up until he's very close to losing, then the Neo Spacians show up and give him a much-needed pep talk to convince him to step up if he really wants to save Jesse.
They really should’ve had him interact with the supreme king also maybe instead of the draw freeing Jaden it made him strong enough to challenge the supreme king for his body
tbh I wish Alexis and Syris new of each other that if Addicus and Zane where close with each other and Fujiwara (prior to his disappearance) we could see them in a familyesk dynamic with Alexis and Syris be like big sister and little brother

I've been waiting for this one. Glad that two of my most wanted matchups were featured here. The Chazz vs Zane matchup had two opportunities to take place: in season 1 early on and at the end of season 2. In terms of other matchups: Alexis vs Blair (in season 3) Zane vs Blair (end of season 2, when she challenged him) Bastion vs Aster (season 2, something about Bastion wanting to join the society and Aster defending Sartorious, idk) Your matchup winners: 10: Zane 9. not really sure 8. Hassleberry 7. Amnael 6. Jaden 5. Sartorious 4. Zane (sorry Chazz) 3. Supreme King 2. Aster 1. Supreme King (but I'd like to see Syrus win this one)
8:05 Imagine if Axel also lost to Supreme King, leaving Cyrus/Sho as the genuine last hope to stop Supreme King. In terms of dueling, Cyrus would get washed, but it would show character development that Cyrus would be willing to step out of his brothers shadow and fight his friend if it means saving him. I imagine that, at best, it would end in a draw due to Supreme King's personality being weakened due to the death of Jim and Axel, so he may misplay here and there allowing Cyrus to get a draw and save Jaden, at the cost of Cyrus' soul. Or, Cyrus is defeated but his death is enough to crack the Supreme King personality enough for Jaden to break out on his own and realize "what have I done?!"
Imagine this scene: Supreme King: It's over, give up your waste of air, you alongside your wannabe robots are useless, I have a monster of 4000 attack using your Jumbo Drill as material, you have no monsters on the field, give up. Sho: As a brother of mine always said, i won't give up until the last card is played, Draw! I use monster reborn to summon a monster from any player's graveyard Supreme King: Did you forget? There's nothing in any of our graveyards that can surpass in effect or attack my monster Sho: I'm gonna bring the hope you so carelessly toss aside, come on, Elemental Hero Neos! Supreme King: What?! Sho: Brother, do you remember when we fought together? Without your monster and my cards we would be expelled, our teamwork brought the card that gifted us the victory, let me refresh your memory! I use Power Bond to use UFOroid in my hand and Elemental Hero Neos on the field to fusion summon our teamwork fruit's, UFOroid fighter with double the attack!
A moment for the ages. Would be made even better if he either discarded Neos for the Super Poly in an ultimate showing that the Supreme King is not Judai, or even if he Fusion Summoned Neos Lord and somehow didn't already beat Syrus. And, with 7400 ATK after Power Bond resolves, even if the Supreme King had been smacking Syrus all duel, it would still be enough to defeat him if Syrus dealt at least 600 damage before. Even Vechiroids can do that much!

I don't think that Zane should have dueled the Supreme King, but the scene that explains why he doesn't should have been diffrent. In the events we currently have, he just goes "Can I take care of that guy? He looks strong." and it is the dumbest thing ever because he is just a stairs removed from the big shot of the conflict, who is supposed to be stronger. It would have been better if the fodder duelist just attempted to cut them off with Axel managing to run past while Zane if forced into the duel, to the latter's frustrations.
Here's my top 10 (Honorable Mentions Syrus vs Shepard as Syrus now has the cyber legacy and with chancelor Shepard being one of its members it would be interesting for Syrus to have more insight on how they duel and we could see his Cyber Legacy Roid deck vs Shepard's Cyber deck. Supreme King vs Edo we see how Destiny Heros stack up to Evil Heroes.) 10. Bastion vs Kenzan (The duel between Ra yellows and it would be interesting to see how one duelist using chemical and a philosopher mind set vs a Dino duelist relying on brute strength and ferocity) 9. Jaden vs Fubuki/Atticus (while these two have dueled before sadly Atticus was under nightshroud influence it would have been interesting to have these two duel in season 2 during the light of destruction Arc with Jaden learning more about his new Neo Spacian and Neos deck and Atticus learning to use his Nightshroud Red-Eyes deck with him in control which could have built up to Atticus vs Zane/Hell Kaiser and another duel I would have wanted on the list) 8. Syrus vs Blair (We never had a duel between these two Syrus's Machine Roid deck vs Blairs Mystic deck could be quite interesting though if Blair was more written better and wasn't so fixated on Jaden a duel between these 2 could have ended with Syrus actually getting a girlfriend that's not a duel Monster.) 7. Chazz vs Atticus (This duel never happened in the show and it could have been an interesting duel since he could have used his Stage deck or his Red-Eyes deck and show how strong Atticus was as a duelist before his nightshroud incident while Chazz tries to see how far he could stack up.) 6. Atticus vs Aster (Ok this duel we never got but it would be interesting to see how the obelisk blue girls react to a duel of two boys they fan girl over Atticus using his Red-Eyes deck vs Aster's D-Hero's. Who will The bell toll for Atticus or Aster and we have had these 2 duel in the manga but here it would be interesting to see it with an audience) 5. Zane/Kaiser vs Alexis (While these 2 have been close friends and the best of Obelisk blue it would be more interesting to have seen these 2 duel within Season 2 with her under the influence of the light of destruction and siding with Saiou while Zane had gone down the dark path and seeing how he defeated Atticus with who was under the influence of Darkness with ease him defeating Asuka could have shown that Zane isn't under the influence of the LIght of Destruction but it could have added a reason to why she doesn't duel in the remainder of Season 2 with her losing to Hell Kaiser and the underworld deck it either could have scared her to the point she can't duel or after the duel it ended with her injured adding a sort of redemption arc of her dueling again after she recovered) 4. Asuka vs Atticus/Nightshroud (Now while Alexis has dueled Atticus in the series we never see a duel with him using the Red-Eyes deck and this duel could have been the first step to what I had stated for my Number 5 duel with her return to dueling while trying to save her brother from Nightshrouds influence plus it gives her more duels.) 3. Jaden vs Zane (Now while these 2 have dueled in season 1 this would be different since as mentioned this could have been how Zane's reign as Hell Kaiser could end with him and Jaden dueling since he has harmed his closest friends in the form of Atticus and Alexis and his own brother this duel would be Neo Spacians vs The underworld Deck and it could have been the duel where Jaden could have used the first triple contact fusion and he could be in a desperate attempt since prior he's only done one neo spacian and Neos but now he considers pulling out a triple contact fusion and it would have been away for there duels to be finished one way or another and could spark Zane's change in Season 3.) 2. Jesse vs Aster (Crystal Beasts+Rainbow Dragon vs Destiny Heros with the ultimate D Card) 1. Syrus vs Chazz (The battle between whose the best Obelisk Blue with Syrus having worked climbing the ranks from Slifer Red-Ra Yellow-Obelisk Blue to get to where he is having his Roid Cyber Legacy deck where Chazz had at first been in obelisk Blue only to be humiliated and humbled going down to Slifer Red and then returning to the Blue Dorm with his Ojama Union Armed Dragon Level Deck.)
The two duels I wish we saw was Zane with the cyberdark deck VS Edo so he can get his rematch after his defeat that started his downward spiral. The other one is Zane with the Cyberdark deck vs Judai. Judai could have been the person to remind Zane the value of respecting their cards and opponents
The Zane vs Chazz duel was one we desperately needed and is the biggest missed opportunity. It would have been such a good duel because it would allow Chazz to sh!t talk Zane/Kaiser since, when you think about it, he basically went through a *very similar* downward spiral and rose back up all on his own without becoming an edgy prick about it. Really putting into perspective how Zane's character in season 3 is really just the result of him losing his confidence and him overcompensating for it when it was compounded with the fear of his heart giving out sooner or later. And if Chazz had won with the Ojamas of all things, that would have been a perfect metaphor for how Zane's problems aren't as big as he thinks and that there are WAY more important things going on.
Alexis vs Addicus in three rounds. *Round one:* While Jaden is dueling Titan, Alexis duels Night Shroud and wins *Round Two:* Ends in a DNF(did not finish) with Night Shroud's mask coming off revealing her brother. *Round three:* An emotional duel with Alexis trying to get through to her brother. She eventually does, and wins. He passes out, but she got him back, and now wants revenge against whoever it was that took him in the first place.
I know that some of mine break some of your rules, however, I still think they would have been good duels. 10 Jim vs. Kenzan: Anthropologist vs. Paleontologist. Who wins? Yeah, this one is just for funsies. 9 Judai/Yubel vs. Sho (Season 4): Duel Links considers Judai/Yubel a distinct character and so do I. It would have shown Sho's further evolution. 8 Edo vs. Ryu Marufuji: I simply cannot believe we didn't get to see that one. 7 Marufuji bros. vs. Para & Dox: Basically a rematch from Season 1. Even more character development for Sho. 6 Blair vs. Asuka Tenjoin: Who gets to confess to Judai? This is followed by... 5 Asuka vs. Manjoume: ...A duel were Manjoume is forced to accept Asuka's true feelings. This is followed by... 4 Yubel vs. Asuka: ...Asuka fighting Yubel by herself. This would be a test done by Yubel to see if Asuka is ready to be with Judai. Yubel would also show a more kindhearted dueling style and deck. 3 Sho Marufuji vs. Yubel: Yubel decides to test Sho to help him overcome his inner fears. This duel would be different from Judai/Yubel vs. Sho because it would happen in a dream (similar to how Kaibaman vs. Judai happened in Season 1) the night before to Sho dueling Judai/Yubel. Yubel would also summon key monsters from past seasons villains. As you can see, since #6 I have been writting an story, one that concludes with the last two duels: 2 Judai (Season 4) vs. Asuka: To finish both character arcs. This would have also called back to their original duel in Season 1. It would have also helped both understand the other's feelings. 1 Yubel vs. Judai (Season 4): Yeah, I am replacing Yugi/Atem vs. Judai. In this way Yubel can return the favor by helping Judai remember why he loves dueling so much. Yugi/Atem vs. Judai could still happen at some other point.
My desired results for these duels would be: 10. Zane 9. Jim 8. Hassleberry 7. Amnael 6. Jaden 5. Fujiwara/Darkness 4. Zane, but it’s close 3. No result/Syrus takes over the duel in Zane’s place 2. Aster, but it’s close 1. Draw
Funny thing is, that actually did happen in a recent commemoration of the Supreme Darkness set where the Japanese VAs of the characters (KENN and Takehito Koyasu respectively) dueled as the characters with their new cards.
1. Satorious vs Zane (Season 2) (Zane heard about Satorious beating the Prince and maybe could delve in the cyber dark lore that was possessing Zane during season 2) 2. Atticus (Nightshroud) vs Satorious (Season 2) (Angry for his sisters mindwipe and during the duel. Nightshroud appears) 3. Bonaparte vs his son (Possesed by Yubel) (season 3) (Obviously Bonaparte trying to save his son) 4. Jaden vs Adrian (season 3 or 4) (2 protagonists of their own stories. 1 with power and the one seeking power) 5. Jesse vs Aster (Season 4) 6. Axel vs Adrian season 3 or 4) (2 close old allies of Viper duelling) 7. Jim Croc vs Axel (Season 3) (Jim Croc as a spirit dueling Axel to give back his confidence to face the supreme king) (As Cyborg428105 said first in the comments) 8. Chancellor Shepherd vs Kagemaru (Season 1) (Chancellor is sick of the activities around the school and wants to end it by trying to beat Kagemaru) 9. Syrus vs Chumley (Season 1) (Chumley trains hard to get better at duelling to face Syrus. So he can give a bit more confident to Syrus for the tag team duel with Jaden) 10. Jaden and Chazz vs Alexis (Light) and Atticus (Nightshroud)
The best would be prime Hell Kaiser (Cyberdark + Cyber Dragon deck) vs Yubel, vs Darkness and vs S4 Judai. All of them 1on1 of course. And yeah, vs Supreme King for sure. I hate now they nerfed Kaiser so that Judai can always be the hero.
I respect if this wasn't top 10... but amon vs hell kaiser. mass damage over exodia sounds like a duel of total stress, especially when hell kaiser has only used one card involving hand destruction ever... against chancellor for the cyberdarks
Neos vs Cyberdarks anyone? No? Just me? Edit: Though if you were to count Judai/Jaden and the Supreme King as separate entities, then I would love to see a duel between them. As a facing yourself moment.
Zane vs Bastion. C'mon, it's a school for teaching card games, and these two are the masters of their specific style. Zane knows his deck and can routinely execute his "summon Cyber End, beat face" gameplan in every Duel. Bastion is more of a wild card, a metagamer who reacts to what his opponent is likely to play and builds new decks specifically to counter them. Combine the anti-fusion cards he used against Jaden with the plethora of anti-machine cards that exist in the anime, and he'd give Zane a run for his money. We know this because it's basically exactly how Zane's first pro duel goes. Maybe he should've trained against an opponent specializing in counterplay.

Alexis then chazz vs supreme king instead of jim then axel. Gives Alexis an onscreen duel in season 3. Lets Chazz actually get a tie against Jaden after 3 (4 if you count episode2) loses. Plus you can get way more character drama from these two putting their lives on the line to help their friend, who they already know is stronger than them, than jim and axel who’ve only known Jaden for….. a few weeks I guess any season 1 character fits here, but these two are my choice since both were saved from the society of light by Jaden. Seems nice for them to repay him. And let’s them both show just how much Jaden means to them.
For me i wish jaden would duel against the light of destruction as the final villain without possesing someone else like he did with darkness since the light was his original archenemy
Kaizer and Supreme King did duel, like twice, some may want to count The Sepreme King and Jaden as separate characters, but that's not a thing, as Jaden himself cannot duel the Supreme King, because he IS the Supreme King
Come on you clearly know what he meant. Sure Jaden accepts his powers now but before The Supreme King was pretty much a split personality. That split personality from before Jaden gets saved against Hell Kaiser is the duel he wanted.
Despite becoming popular and a symbol of nostalgia/iconicity, The Supreme King was very wasted in GX. I mean, The Supreme King has very little screen time and is defeated after his second on-screen Duel. Knowing that The Supreme King is a corrupted/evil Jaden, you'd think that his closest friends from Season 1 would take him on, especially Syrus or Zane (as mentioned in the video), but nothing.

Syrus bias and defenders. Where it's literally impossible to defend Syrus in every possible way In the Sub, Syrus/Sho is more annoying, more pathetic, more spineless, creepy (which was removed in the dub), spoiled and entitled. Syrus is one of the worst characters. Also people never get full context of the flashback with power bond. In the sub Syrus proposed a bet for whoever wins. Since he was sure he was going to win, he kept disrespecting his opponent and running his mouth and making an ass of himself. If anything, Zane saved Syrus from humiliation, yet Syrus being the spoiled brat he is viewed it as something else.
I try to go by what most people are familiar with. I think whether someone watched the dub or sub of DM, they're likely familiar with the dub names. When I made these GX videos, I was under the impression that most people knew the sub names, but based on some comments, I may have been mistaken. Just curious, what do you prefer?

I've always wanted Jaden and Zane to have a rematch, especially since Zane never fought the Neo-Spacians.
Technically they did have a brief 3rd duel before yubel came through the door in season 3

(Honorable Mentions Syrus vs Shepard as Syrus now has the cyber legacy and with chancelor Shepard being one of its members it would be interesting for Syrus to have more insight on how they duel and we could see his Cyber Legacy Roid deck vs Shepard's Cyber deck. Supreme King vs Edo we see how Destiny Heros stack up to Evil Heroes.)
10. Bastion vs Kenzan (The duel between Ra yellows and it would be interesting to see how one duelist using chemical and a philosopher mind set vs a Dino duelist relying on brute strength and ferocity)
9. Jaden vs Fubuki/Atticus (while these two have dueled before sadly Atticus was under nightshroud influence it would have been interesting to have these two duel in season 2 during the light of destruction Arc with Jaden learning more about his new Neo Spacian and Neos deck and Atticus learning to use his Nightshroud Red-Eyes deck with him in control which could have built up to Atticus vs Zane/Hell Kaiser and another duel I would have wanted on the list)
8. Syrus vs Blair (We never had a duel between these two Syrus's Machine Roid deck vs Blairs Mystic deck could be quite interesting though if Blair was more written better and wasn't so fixated on Jaden a duel between these 2 could have ended with Syrus actually getting a girlfriend that's not a duel Monster.)
7. Chazz vs Atticus (This duel never happened in the show and it could have been an interesting duel since he could have used his Stage deck or his Red-Eyes deck and show how strong Atticus was as a duelist before his nightshroud incident while Chazz tries to see how far he could stack up.)
6. Atticus vs Aster (Ok this duel we never got but it would be interesting to see how the obelisk blue girls react to a duel of two boys they fan girl over Atticus using his Red-Eyes deck vs Aster's D-Hero's. Who will The bell toll for Atticus or Aster and we have had these 2 duel in the manga but here it would be interesting to see it with an audience)
5. Zane/Kaiser vs Alexis (While these 2 have been close friends and the best of Obelisk blue it would be more interesting to have seen these 2 duel within Season 2 with her under the influence of the light of destruction and siding with Saiou while Zane had gone down the dark path and seeing how he defeated Atticus with who was under the influence of Darkness with ease him defeating Asuka could have shown that Zane isn't under the influence of the LIght of Destruction but it could have added a reason to why she doesn't duel in the remainder of Season 2 with her losing to Hell Kaiser and the underworld deck it either could have scared her to the point she can't duel or after the duel it ended with her injured adding a sort of redemption arc of her dueling again after she recovered)
4. Asuka vs Atticus/Nightshroud (Now while Alexis has dueled Atticus in the series we never see a duel with him using the Red-Eyes deck and this duel could have been the first step to what I had stated for my Number 5 duel with her return to dueling while trying to save her brother from Nightshrouds influence plus it gives her more duels.)
3. Jaden vs Zane (Now while these 2 have dueled in season 1 this would be different since as mentioned this could have been how Zane's reign as Hell Kaiser could end with him and Jaden dueling since he has harmed his closest friends in the form of Atticus and Alexis and his own brother this duel would be Neo Spacians vs The underworld Deck and it could have been the duel where Jaden could have used the first triple contact fusion and he could be in a desperate attempt since prior he's only done one neo spacian and Neos but now he considers pulling out a triple contact fusion and it would have been away for there duels to be finished one way or another and could spark Zane's change in Season 3.)
2. Jesse vs Aster (Crystal Beasts+Rainbow Dragon vs Destiny Heros with the ultimate D Card)
1. Syrus vs Chazz (The battle between whose the best Obelisk Blue with Syrus having worked climbing the ranks from Slifer Red-Ra Yellow-Obelisk Blue to get to where he is having his Roid Cyber Legacy deck where Chazz had at first been in obelisk Blue only to be humiliated and humbled going down to Slifer Red and then returning to the Blue Dorm with his Ojama Union Armed Dragon Level Deck.)
The two duels I wish we saw was Zane with the cyberdark deck VS Edo so he can get his rematch after his defeat that started his downward spiral. The other one is Zane with the Cyberdark deck vs Judai. Judai could have been the person to remind Zane the value of respecting their cards and opponents
I didn't include pure rematches but yes these two definitely at the top of the rematch list
The Zane vs Chazz duel was one we desperately needed and is the biggest missed opportunity.
It would have been such a good duel because it would allow Chazz to sh!t talk Zane/Kaiser since, when you think about it, he basically went through a *very similar* downward spiral and rose back up all on his own without becoming an edgy prick about it.
Really putting into perspective how Zane's character in season 3 is really just the result of him losing his confidence and him overcompensating for it when it was compounded with the fear of his heart giving out sooner or later.
And if Chazz had won with the Ojamas of all things, that would have been a perfect metaphor for how Zane's problems aren't as big as he thinks and that there are WAY more important things going on.
Alexis vs Addicus in three rounds.
*Round one:* While Jaden is dueling Titan, Alexis duels Night Shroud and wins
*Round Two:* Ends in a DNF(did not finish) with Night Shroud's mask coming off revealing her brother.
*Round three:* An emotional duel with Alexis trying to get through to her brother. She eventually does, and wins. He passes out, but she got him back, and now wants revenge against whoever it was that took him in the first place.
I know that some of mine break some of your rules, however, I still think they would have been good duels.
10 Jim vs. Kenzan: Anthropologist vs. Paleontologist. Who wins? Yeah, this one is just for funsies.
9 Judai/Yubel vs. Sho (Season 4): Duel Links considers Judai/Yubel a distinct character and so do I. It would have shown Sho's further evolution.
8 Edo vs. Ryu Marufuji: I simply cannot believe we didn't get to see that one.
7 Marufuji bros. vs. Para & Dox: Basically a rematch from Season 1. Even more character development for Sho.
6 Blair vs. Asuka Tenjoin: Who gets to confess to Judai? This is followed by...
5 Asuka vs. Manjoume: ...A duel were Manjoume is forced to accept Asuka's true feelings. This is followed by...
4 Yubel vs. Asuka: ...Asuka fighting Yubel by herself. This would be a test done by Yubel to see if Asuka is ready to be with Judai. Yubel would also show a more kindhearted dueling style and deck.
3 Sho Marufuji vs. Yubel: Yubel decides to test Sho to help him overcome his inner fears. This duel would be different from Judai/Yubel vs. Sho because it would happen in a dream (similar to how Kaibaman vs. Judai happened in Season 1) the night before to Sho dueling Judai/Yubel. Yubel would also summon key monsters from past seasons villains.
As you can see, since #6 I have been writting an story, one that concludes with the last two duels:
2 Judai (Season 4) vs. Asuka: To finish both character arcs. This would have also called back to their original duel in Season 1. It would have also helped both understand the other's feelings.
1 Yubel vs. Judai (Season 4): Yeah, I am replacing Yugi/Atem vs. Judai. In this way Yubel can return the favor by helping Judai remember why he loves dueling so much. Yugi/Atem vs. Judai could still happen at some other point.

Funny thing is, that actually did happen in a recent commemoration of the Supreme Darkness set where the Japanese VAs of the characters (KENN and Takehito Koyasu respectively) dueled as the characters with their new cards.

(2 protagonists of their own stories. 1 with power and the one seeking power)

The best would be prime Hell Kaiser (Cyberdark + Cyber Dragon deck) vs Yubel, vs Darkness and vs S4 Judai. All of them 1on1 of course. And yeah, vs Supreme King for sure. I hate now they nerfed Kaiser so that Judai can always be the hero.
I respect if this wasn't top 10... but amon vs hell kaiser. mass damage over exodia sounds like a duel of total stress, especially when hell kaiser has only used one card involving hand destruction ever... against chancellor for the cyberdarks

Zane vs Bastion.
C'mon, it's a school for teaching card games, and these two are the masters of their specific style. Zane knows his deck and can routinely execute his "summon Cyber End, beat face" gameplan in every Duel. Bastion is more of a wild card, a metagamer who reacts to what his opponent is likely to play and builds new decks specifically to counter them. Combine the anti-fusion cards he used against Jaden with the plethora of anti-machine cards that exist in the anime, and he'd give Zane a run for his money. We know this because it's basically exactly how Zane's first pro duel goes. Maybe he should've trained against an opponent specializing in counterplay.

Plus you can get way more character drama from these two putting their lives on the line to help their friend, who they already know is stronger than them, than jim and axel who’ve only known Jaden for….. a few weeks
I guess any season 1 character fits here, but these two are my choice since both were saved from the society of light by Jaden. Seems nice for them to repay him. And let’s them both show just how much Jaden means to them.

In the Sub, Syrus/Sho is more annoying, more pathetic, more spineless, creepy (which was removed in the dub), spoiled and entitled.
Syrus is one of the worst characters.
Also people never get full context of the flashback with power bond. In the sub Syrus proposed a bet for whoever wins. Since he was sure he was going to win, he kept disrespecting his opponent and running his mouth and making an ass of himself. If anything, Zane saved Syrus from humiliation, yet Syrus being the spoiled brat he is viewed it as something else.
To be fair, Roids almost beat Cyberdarks lol. Archetypes aside, it would've made perfect narrative sense for Syrus to duel Supreme King

It bothers me that you use the Japanese names for the GX characters but the dub names for the DM characters.
I try to go by what most people are familiar with. I think whether someone watched the dub or sub of DM, they're likely familiar with the dub names. When I made these GX videos, I was under the impression that most people knew the sub names, but based on some comments, I may have been mistaken.
