I don’t play Pathfinder but I’m a big fan of Wizkids’ DnD stuff...I really like how these sets typically include dungeon dressings and terrain! I wish Icons of the Realms would do the same. Fun review...good luck all!
My favorite was the Gogiteth. It somehow reminded me to the spirit Koh in Avatar the Last Air Bender. I was thinking to do a subterranean adventure with a spin of a psychological horror story
Hey Theo, all those miniatures look great. The Duergar kept catching my eye. The Taskmaster pose holding the medallion is great. Going to look up that stitch golem stats, he was crazy looking. No miniature would go unused in that set. Thanks Theo & have a great day.
I got a brick of these recently and was very impressed with the quality, in comparison to a lot of the past Icons of the Realms sets. I think that I had only gotten one Pathfinder Battles booster prior to this, but now I want to get some more City of Lost Omens boosters. Nice set, Wizkids!
So many cool minis!! As I love dragons..the green dragon is a standout. The #11 low alanti caught my eye. If you are running a homebrew with an Egyptian theme then she would fit right in! My favorite piece is the star stone! You could use this as a centerpiece to virtually any campaign!! Keep up the good work guys!!
For me, this is Pathfinder's best set since maybe Crown of Fangs. Lots of cool, interesting mini choices (Dhampir! Angelkin! Wave Rider!) and the best dungeon dressing pieces ever, hands down. I don't think the paint job is quite as good as some of the older sets (put them next to Shattered Star or Skull & Shackles and you can see the difference), but still a big step up from Legendary Adventures. And guys, you don't get enough credit for giving us some useful lore as the minis are displayed - very interesting, and great for kicking off some story ideas! Thanks.
Looks like an improvement on the paint jobs since the last Pathfinder set. Definitely loving those Lizardfolk minis I like to use Pathfinder and D&D Lizardfolk as rival clans. Thanks guys for another great Review just waiting on the Polukranos, World Eater review anticipating that one. Keep it up guys
I really like these videos. I’m get lost reading monster manuals so seeing the minis really helps visualise scenarios. At the moment I’m planning for a player to be missing for a couple of sessions. What an adventure it would be to have them stolen from the mangrove swamp by a Chuul where the party have to track them down and save him from the spawn that are preparing to devour them.
Honestly I’d get the most use out of the guards. I love having well organized and equipped guards and I love even more having minis to reflect that. Also 10/10 for the Python Quote
Thank you for the informative video as always. :) I have been wanting to write an aquatic campaign for a while now, and things like the Wave Rider could make excellent additions to that world. I see the Wave Riders being a whole civilization, based around taming and trading hippocampi.
That gimmerling would be PERFECT for an adventure I'm going to run where a family of doppelgangers are blending in with the people of a merchant city. They were nomads that would settle for a bit, steal a few things and then move away, but this time the youngest one made friends with some urchins, so the two older ones are planning something that would enable them to stay in town and provide for themselves and the urchins
I personally love the Duergar models and they will see use in my games once i feel comfortable going back out in public to play again. The Dhampyr model looks great and will see use as a Vampire Archmage in my games. Happy gaming and stay safe everyone.
That gogiteth mini is probably my favorite of this set. Considering I’m about to run an Underdark campign in the next couple weeks, this Eldritch horror would excel at scaring the life out of my players. If I got these minis I’d hope I could get one of those beasts. Luckily, we don’t have any arachnophobes at my table. Yet.
I would definitely use the zombie brute as a necromancer’s meat shield against Minotaurs exploring and solving the labyrinth in an evil party campaign!!
17:23 - Chuul in Pathfinder are yet another Aboleth-evolved race, similar to Mimics and Cloakers. They indeed have little society but do serve the Aboleth/Alghollthu masters. One weird thing is the new mini having 3 legs, we speculated on the Minisgallery forum that someone misunderstood the illustration in the bestiary.
Congratulations, Brian! You were drawn as the winner of the giveaway for this video. Please reach out to us at thegallantgoblin [at] gmail [dot] com for instructions on claiming your prize!
I’d love to use that wheel of misery. Re-work the results to something else and make it used by an insane deranged beholder. He could have an area built to look like a game show and make minions who fail him spin the wheel. I feel like that would be wildly entertaining.
Love the Ratfolk Grenadier. I'd use it in our home brew game that focuses a lot on the friction between Ratfolk and Catfolk. I wanted to change to a Ratfolk Alchemist.
I'd have to say the Zombie Brute would be perfect for a Frankenstein-eque story gone wrong. A not so adept necromancer tries to create the perfect monster, but doesn't bring it to life so much as to un-life. Embed a ring of resistance: radiant somewhere in the corpse to make it that much harder to kill, but also a nice reward for the medicine savvy PC.
Oh my god, the Knight of the aeon star looks exactly how i pictured my latest dnd character, a paladin suffering a memory loss like curse, but wants to seek out her old memories, She will follow a god of compassion and spread the name, helping others along the way, ive worked with the dm for a surprise, the god ill follow, is actually the name of my forgotten child
I have a temple devoted to Sarenrae in my world and the ranger is leaning toward becoming a paladin of her so it would be great to use the Balisse angel to act as an intermediary to the player. Also if they were to go and visit Sarenrae that mini could work as an avatar if needed.
The wave rider is great! WOuld love to have multiples of these--I have yet to see a hippocampus with rider type miniature. There just arent enough undersea adventures.
I have already picked up a brick of city of lost omens, i definitely plan on using the pendulum as a trap in my game if i ever get to play again live. thanks to grady, i picked up his dm guild book for theros. its really kool
Definitely some interesting minis here. Might add some of these to my collection. Especially the Gogiteth. And maybe a couple of the dungeon dressing pieces. ;)
The Leaf Leshy is one that I'm excited about as I've been homebrewing a Leshy race. It would tie well into one of my current player's character who is a wood elf sent out into the world to journey to and investigate the cessation of communication with a druid in another area: a leshy would potentially have been brought to life by said druid and aid the party in the arc (or even end up being a new PC).
I absolutely love the Pinacosaurus! In the original Pathfinder there was a druid variant based on dinosaurs and I'd love to make a pg with the Pinacosaurus as trusted animal companion.
Skinstitch looks amazing definitely can find great use in my game I just picked up a scarecrow mini can use it as like a king scarecrow sounds like a fun session 👍
I'd use the wave rider miniature in my D&D campaign for sure, one of my players that plays Xiphalia: a Sea Elf Fighter, and the mini would be perfect for somekind of encounter in Nephnas City (in my homebrew world)
Just started playing tabletop RPGs commenting trying to get my hands on some awesome miniatures in particular some Absalom city guards for some friendly NPCs and definitely need me a Angelkin redeemer
I would use angelkin redeemer for one of my current caracter that is a Aasimar Cleric and i would also use wear rats and other monsters for my campaign that im running .
I think the krooth are really cool looking and would use them as giant lizards for mounts. I could then use the duergar and xulgath as adversaries in an underdark adventure.
I would love to get the tengu figure because I love the design and the colours and it can be used as PC and a NPC. It could also potentially dubble as a kenku for my d&d games.
I love the god miniatures they are some of my favorite miniatures to collect I don’t play pathfinder but I do like the minis because they offer some diversity to the D&D monsters
Say what you will about that Aroden mini, but he does have beautiful plumage. I don't collect the PF minis generally, but I'd love to get a squad of those Absalom watch minis. It would be perfect for any city, and it'd be nice to have minis with matching uniforms so your "city watch" isn't just a ragtag motley collection of random humanoid mins you have lying around. Also the Angelkin Redeemer and Knight of the Aeon Star would make great PC minis.
As I've been reading through the 2nd Bestiary guide, I came across "Crawling Hand" which I thought was a really cool idea. If I had the Brute Zombie, I would use him in my current campaign, and add in the ranged "hunk of meat" action from the Zombie Hulk, allowing the Zombie Brute a stat block for throwing his own arm at people (scale the damage down a bit... 2d6+4B, and scale the zombie brute up to a lvl 3 creature since I'm making him slightly more powerful). I would use one of the Pathfinder pawns to mark where the pawn fell, THEN I would roll initiative for a lvl -1 crawling hand, and use that to attack the PC's as well. It would only catch them off guard once, but it would be worth it.
I would love to run a game were a group of adventures redeem Zariel and use the Balisse as a Final Fantasy-esque summon of Zariel for the group to use in battle or just to aid along their journey. Eventually they would find her famed blade and return her to her full glory.
My favorite mini would be Aroden as I would display him in a place of glory on my shelf. I hope that we'll get more minis of the deities so that a pantheon could be displayed, or at least the ascended deities. I am planning a campaign so most of these would get used to my party's detriment, like the mirror or the wheel, both of which would throw them for a loop. For actual use Aroden might be used in a mission that tosses them to a time when he still existed, though honestly since his death while confirmed was never (to my knowledge) explained I might bring him in as an effect of whatever magic 'killed him' that instead threw him through time to present day Golarion and now the whole realm would have to deal with repercussions of his reappearance. My wishlist will consist of Aroden, Norgorber, Darkside Mirror, Wheel of Misery, Starstone, Green Dragon, Thief Guildmaster, Swinging Scythe Blade, Enlarged Duergar, and the Iruxi Defender.
I would probably use these in my own homebrew setting, the orbs of Armeggodon would be a new monster...the sad truth though is that I am not too excited for this set. Congrats to the winners but none of these really make me say "Wow, I need those." Overall another good set just one I don't really care for.
I thought this at first as well but then I saw the little goblin chief and I fell in love, I adore Pathfinder gobbies and need a King . The protohag changeling and Dhampire are also pretty cool, the zombie brute and stich skin golem/ scarecrow are also pretty neat. The more I think on it the more used many of these can have on just about be any game. I don't care for dinosaur minis at all as they are something anyone can find knockoffs for and I am scratching my head over a male harpy, that goes completely against their lore
Love it!!
It may be in a 1st edition game, but I’m playing a ratfolk grenadier right now, so I know what I’d use that mini for
I would use them in my current home brewed urban campaign. Lost of the minis would fir very well.
Your comprehensive explainer on your website is excellent... a great resource for collectors and casual purchasers!
Glad you found it helpful! -Theo
Hey Theo, all those miniatures look great. The Duergar kept catching my eye. The Taskmaster pose holding the medallion is great. Going to look up that stitch golem stats, he was crazy looking. No miniature would go unused in that set.
Thanks Theo & have a great day.
Wow I love that green dragon. What a cool sculpt
I love that they include dungeon dressings in some of the pathfinder sets. also the Waverider looks sweet!
I need those Krooths, I am using them as hunting dogs for my marsh giants that are protectors of a local coven of hags. Enjoyed the breakdown.
I got a brick of these recently and was very impressed with the quality, in comparison to a lot of the past Icons of the Realms sets. I think that I had only gotten one Pathfinder Battles booster prior to this, but now I want to get some more City of Lost Omens boosters. Nice set, Wizkids!
Glad they turned out well for you. I really like the City of Lost Omens set! -Theo
Really getting into minis, finally got some space to store them. love watching your videos to see where i might start.
Those duergar are great! Love the enlarged version.
I love that Knight of Aeon Star figure, she'd be perfect as the mini for the new PC I'm playing in a few weeks!
Always glad to meet a new game store! Oh, I really like the watch minis. Could easily use as ally watch or antagonist guards.
That's a treasure, A duergar warband! I always need more for my Dragonlance/Thorbadin scenarios and these ones look very sofisticated and inteligent.
I'm hoping to get a few Watch cadets to use as Zadash guards in my Wildmount campaign.

I love the hellspwan adept and I think I'll use it as a player character
I really like these videos. I’m get lost reading monster manuals so seeing the minis really helps visualise scenarios. At the moment I’m planning for a player to be missing for a couple of sessions. I'm not a Pathfinder player, but that Star Stone looks really cool.

LoL, I knew I wasn't the only one to catch the dead parrot reference, I wish I could give them more thumbs up for it
Thank you for the informative video as always. :)
I have been wanting to write an aquatic campaign for a while now, and things like the Wave Rider could make excellent additions to that world. I see the Wave Riders being a whole civilization, based around taming and trading hippocampi.
I’ll be running a heavily nodified descent into avernus game so I’m always looking for angels!! That balisse is very cool looking
These new Pathfinder figures are amazing, love the new looks on the original monsters and characters. The new large dragons are EPIC!!!!
My favorite is the Minotaur because I don’t have won yet and I’m really looking forward on getting one
A little on the fence on this set but would love to try and open one up for myself!
I can't wait to get a Norgorber miniature - I love that we have god and goddess mini's! PAIZO AND WIZKIDS PLEASE GIVE US SARENRAE!
I personally love the Duergar models and they will see use in my games once i feel comfortable going back out in public to play again. The Dhampyr model looks great and will see use as a Vampire Archmage in my games. Happy gaming and stay safe everyone.

That skin stitch is perfect for a murder mystery. I can imagine it being a serial killer my players would have to hunt down.
It looks awesome, I. Would see it fit right at home in Ravenloft!
Good sir, your RUclips picture gave me the illusion of a hair on my phone. Well played.
@@purpleslushie lol, I thought bit was just another crack on my phones screen
Congratulations, Brian! You were drawn as the winner of the giveaway for this video. Please reach out to us at thegallantgoblin [at] gmail [dot] com for instructions on claiming your prize!

I was thinking beyond thunderdome when I saw it
It is a very various set of miniatures, I'm creating a campaign in a desert for my fellows and some of this pieces would be perfect in that scenerio
Oh boy those Gimmerlings might provide me with a creepy swarm of vampire children to freak out my players in my horror campaign setting!
Hello thanks for the video. I will use the set for my pathfinder adventures of course. Hope to continue my campaign on September
That Dhampir Wizard is such a fantastic mini. Would work great as a cheap Strahd.
That's the one I want to use!
I see a lot of options for PC’s, NPC’s, and Town Guards for my D&D games.
That zombie hulk mini is most definitely going to see a lot of use! Currently doing an adventure with a metric ton of undead!
I'm looking at running a sea based arc and I would love some Waveriders as defenders of the port. They look great!
Love the Ratfolk Grenadier. I'd use it in our home brew game that focuses a lot on the friction between Ratfolk and Catfolk. I wanted to change to a Ratfolk Alchemist.

Some cool minis there
I may have to get some of those
Oh my god, the Knight of the aeon star looks exactly how i pictured my latest dnd character, a paladin suffering a memory loss like curse, but wants to seek out her old memories, She will follow a god of compassion and spread the name, helping others along the way, ive worked with the dm for a surprise, the god ill follow, is actually the name of my forgotten child

The wave rider is great! WOuld love to have multiples of these--I have yet to see a hippocampus with rider type miniature. There just arent enough undersea adventures.
Starting dm so, we can really put them to good work! I really like you channel with all the reviews.
Aw, thank you! Good luck with your adventures! -Theo
I have already picked up a brick of city of lost omens, i definitely plan on using the pendulum as a trap in my game if i ever get to play again live. thanks to grady, i picked up his dm guild book for theros. its really kool
Aw, thank you very much! I'm glad you're enjoying the book so far. Fingers crossed we'll all be able to play live again next year! -Grady
Definitely some interesting minis here. Might add some of these to my collection. Especially the Gogiteth. And maybe a couple of the dungeon dressing pieces. ;)
The Leaf Leshy is one that I'm excited about as I've been homebrewing a Leshy race. I absolutely love the Pinacosaurus! In the original Pathfinder there was a druid variant based on dinosaurs and I'd love to make a pg with the Pinacosaurus as trusted animal companion.
That enlarged duergar would go great with my homebrew underdark campaign!
Skinstitch looks amazing definitely can find great use in my game I just picked up a scarecrow mini can use it as like a king scarecrow sounds like a fun session 👍
woo these videos rock! Id be using the Ratfolk Grenadier for my alchemist bomber character!
I'm really interested in those duregar that gives me a lot of great ideas
Guards, dinos, rat folk new asimar, you can do a lot with them im actually excited about this set and can't wait to add them to my collection
The giant undead holding his own arm is my favorite. But for use I'd use the enlarged duegar the most.
I am addicted to these boxes
I would definitely use the dungeon dressing for on warlock tiles
I bought the enlarged duergar and the duegar genadier loose because I like the duergar so much.
I would use that green dragon as a form of the dragon mini I’ve been looking for one for a while
I'd use the wave rider miniature in my D&D campaign for sure, one of my players that plays Xiphalia: a Sea Elf Fighter, and the mini would be perfect for somekind of encounter in Nephnas City (in my homebrew world)
Gotta get some the awesome beasts and beastfolk, such as the krooth
that gogiteh is badass, I would put it in an ambush setting if I ever play in the underdark
Great video!
Skinstitch all the way! Perfect for a horror dungeon boss or possible an evil town tyrant for my campaigns
Evil kids and enlarged duergar? Count me in! These prepainted minis are looking better with every edition. 😁
I’m running the lost mines of phandelver and would love to be able to use that green dragon for when my players encounter him
I would use the leaf leshy to create a full village for a side quest that could lead to the leshy becoming poisoned and evil.
I just remembered I came up with a important villain for the Eberron campaign that is a duergar. I might actually try my luck with this set
I’ve been waiting to run a thieves guild for my group so I would use that set as a home base for my party :)
Cool Minis!
i'm currently running a capaign with a rakshasa villain, and that catfolk miniature could work perfectly as a rakshasa!
I want that gogiteth so much, I barely even know what it is' but I love stuff like that
I think the krooth are really cool looking and would use them as giant lizards for mounts. I could then use the duergar and xulgath as adversaries in an underdark adventure.
I think I would use these as part of cult that has an underground fight pit, where the participants are used to empower a figure like Yeenoghu.
I would love to get the tengu figure because I love the design and the colours and it can be used as PC and a NPC. It could also potentially dubble as a kenku for my d&d games.
The Naiad queen is a perfect fit for one of my lead npcs in the feywild where my party are soon to travel to once more
I have 2 actually . The first Norgorber. The second catfolk pouncer .
I love the god miniatures they are some of my favorite miniatures to collect I don’t play pathfinder but I do like the minis because they offer some diversity to the D&D monsters
As a forever GM I’d use it for monsters or figure box for my players
The Ofalth, looks clean, and I want to use it in tandem with my Shambling mound, because I have a player that thinks plants can't be scary lol
I would use the pinacosaurus. Looking at it made me think of a small army trying to breach a castle wall using it as a battering ram of sorts.
I would just do city of atlantas and see how that goes
Those are pretty sweet!
Angelkin Redeemer, she is a perfect fit for the cleric in our group.
I don’t even play pathfinder, but their minis are just so darn good
I’d go with the Ofalth and use with current jungle based adventure
I think the skinstitch mini would make a great villain in any DND campaign and I do love to pull it from a pack
