Many thanks for your kind comments James. It's so nice to know that my videos have been of use, when I am filming I am thinking to myself that no one will be interested. You should see how much filming I cut out to keep them short, this video started at over 70 minutes with me jabbering on. I have to cut much out to keep them shorter.

I do spend quite a lot of time making and editing the videos though I don't plan or rehearse anything, I just set up the cameras and 'gabble' away.

I am used to cutting myself Mark, I think I am immune to most nasties now after the time I spend sorting out our septic tank.
I must check your channel more often for some reason although I subscribed with the bell option I never get notified when you upload a new video.

How thick is your plywood, I’m a deaf scroller so depend of subtitles but they get in the way. I’ll have another detailed watch in morning and write note.

Hello Norman. Many thanks for your very kind words.
The plywood used in this video are two thicknesses 1/8inch [3mm] and 1/16inch [just over 1mm] any size will do.

Hi John....Great video as always but they are getting few and far between, As a fellow 'Hobbies' subscriber of the 50's and 60's more instruction and assistance from you would be great. Only joking because you probably have lots of other things to keep you busy. One thing I will ask is why and how do you put a wooden cover over the saw table. I have an Excalibur 21 and the table has gone a little pitted. Although I have not done much work on it I think I might make an 'Overtable' for mine. Any suggestions.?

Hi Chris, many thanks for your kind comments. Great to hear that I am not the only person with an interest in the old 'Hobbies' company, we are few and far between.
I have had a liking for Hobbies and fretworking since I was a little boy, both my dad and granddad were keen fretworkers, my granddad sold Hobbies stuff in his shop back in the early 1900's.
As regards the over-table, I just used a piece of 6mm MDF (it's nice and flat) cut a slot for the blade and fitted some wood strips around the edges to keep it on the table, it just fits tightly over the existing table with no fixings needed. I do describe it in one of my videos.

Hello Tony Thanks for your comments, It has gone cold here again. No I have not fitted a motor to my cycle yet I am trying to do all the pedalling myself for as long as possible, but the wife keeps telling me to electrify my Dawes Galaxy.

Hello Clownhall, no you won't find them they are images I 'doctored' myself but you should be able to find something similar that you can adapt. I am happy for you to have copies of the ones I used if I can find them. I did them on photoshop but not sure if I saved them after printing. If I can find them I will reply again.

I was he,ping my granddaughter to move house over last 2 weeks and she has a couple drawer units which are years old. I instantly remembered what you said about using the plywood for scrollsawing. She is now giving then to me. Just watching your videos is very helpful.
