Please don’t do this, all it does is waste the vets time and takes it away from people who actually need it. I had to wait 3 weeks for my dog to get treated for infection once, I don’t want people to wait for no reason.

I did this with a friend in high school in our library. The librarian hated us so we pulled like 100 tags out of the books and started dropping them in peoples backpacks. The alarm went off so many times and she spent an entire hour searching people's bags. After awhile she just started letting people pass through because she thought the security system was acting up.
