Both versions are good in their own ways the lyrics and the tune sync best in original while the singing is best in hindi . Visually original itself is best. Onscreen pair I feel both are good. The actors were apt in the remake too. I saw lot of people underrating Rani but she was one of best versatile actors in hindi those days . Rani is best as Salini no doubt. Vivek also did justice to Madhavan's role I guess.
