I'll be(hopefully) installing my Inferno Gen 2 into my VFC MP5A5 this weekend, this helps a ton :D But the MP5 is front wired so that'll be an added challenge I guess :P Would be awesome if you guys had an install vid for MP5s and AKs to ;)
I installed my inferno gen 2 a few days ago and I didn't watch this video till afterwards and my alignment screws a must... I did the barrel test and the alignment was spot on but does it move around after running awile?
Hopefully This will solve some peoples issues on the owners facebook page. At least we can refer them to this video instead of trying to explain it all great video Rich!
I know this video is a bit older, do the Wolverine Inferno Gen 2 units come with the buffer tube piece or is that only included in some models/generations of them? I am wondering as I just purchased the Heretic Labs Inferno Gen 2 and will probably need one of the butt stock adapter pieces but I have alternatives if it doesn't come with one. Would be great though to have as it would mean no mods to the existing parts.
pegstall Yes but you can also wire it to the buffer tube or if you have a front wired aeg, you could put it in the rail. So you can wire it all three places!
Well I'm not by any means a professional but most of my airsoft gun had issues with the gearbox when I bought them "used". What I don't understand is why did you put alignment screws on the gearbox, once you put all the pins, pistol grip, and stock the gearbox will automatically be center and perfectly in place. So in my opinion the set screws are a waste of time and money
God bless you Wolverine Airsoft for making this awesome video!

I got the engine in and it does come with the buffer tube/spring guide replacement piece to connect the buffer tube
So....can one be installed in a ics which has a split gearbox????
No body ever shows how the board works with the selector plate but that's what I actually need to know
For alignment screws could I use m3 socket head hex bolts?
Where's the battery, in the grip??
So I just got mine and why is my cylinder leaking?
Will this work in a echo1 xcr please respond
with the wiring going into the pistol grip is that where youd put the fcu battery?

You certainly can yes!
Wolverine Airsoft what kind of battery can I use?
Good to know I put mine together the same way.👊😮. Great video, n good tips!
Hello, what barrel length should I choose for the most co2 efficiency? I am shooting at 280 fps.
What barrel are you currently using?
PDI 250mm
Yeah we like longer tight bore barrels typically.
Wolverine Airsoft
thanks for the replay, I play in Japan and the regulation is 300 fps. wouldn't longer barrel shoot too hot?
anyway thanks
can you guys do a install of an sl9 i have one and the shots is not consistant at range
Should be able to do that one, it is a V3 gearbox.
Wolverine Airsoft would an alignment issue cause my inconsistency at anything over a 150ft
Possibly, please email tech@wolverineairsoft.com so our tech department can help you out!
Im confused where the battery goes
FixatorFixed you can wire the battery where ever the fuck you want.
Would you be able to install this into a aps silveredge gearbox?
