Guess who just watched Babylon 5 for the first time! Sheridan&Delenn are officially my fourth favorite ship of all-time. Can we talk about how incredibly perfect these two are???? They killed me in the best possible way. They take "written in the stars" to a whole new level. ♥♥♥
Also, I highly HIGHLYYYY recommend watching Babylon 5. I have never seen a show with such beautiful continuity. Seriously, it blew my freakin' mind. Like something mentioned in season 1 becomes a major plot point in season 3 and then an even bigger plot point in season 5, and you're just like WHOAAAA. Watch it!!! If this video accomplishes nothing else, I hope it convinces at least one of you to experience the perfection of this show. (And please let me know if I convinced you! I'd love to talk to more people about it.)

This video is SO touching. They are my favorite couple in all of fiction, ever since I was 12 years old back in 1994.
I watched this new imposter Captain take Sinclair’s place and I wasn’t sure about him at first but when he stared at her in awe the first time they met, I knew something special was going to happen between these two. Even at that young age I just knew. And for the rest of the season I watched their amicable professional relationship turn into an easy friendship, and then bloom into something more-something deep and tender, unspoken but obvious.
It was AMAZING for a young girl like myself to see such a classy and respectful pair: a human who was a confident but oft-vulnerable gentleman, and a Minbari who was a wise but fierce spiritual icon. They were opposites yet the same. Souls of light drawn to each other, complementary and truly meant to be. I watched their story begin and end in real time, four years of my own life, but it was written and developed so perfectly and naturally, it was impossible not to adore them. You believe in them, you want them to succeed, you want them to unite as the galaxy-changing power couple they were always destined to be.

I saw this video on RUclips, and I promised myself that this would be the first thing I watched after I finished the series. I finished the series today, and watched it, just like I promised myself. And I have no words for it.

IMO Delenn and Captain Sheridan is one of the best love stories ever presented on screen. Mira Furlan was enchanting! The range of emotions she could convey with subtle acting was incredible - tenderness to fierceness, joy to agony, vulnerability to strength. With a woman like Delenn at your side, as Sheridan said, you’d believe you can fly. May Mira rest in peace, where no shadows fall...

You know I've wondered why JMS did not include their wedding in the original series but watching this video I can see why.Their actions and words were their vows we didn't need to see a ceremony.This video brought it all home.
"Where no shadows fall" is a beautiful description of Heaven, and it's where my husband Tim has dwelt for nearly 27 years and yet in my heart, I know he sees me even if I can't see him with my eyes. It's been terribly painful at times to be apart and yet, I wouldn't trade the experience of having him in my life, he was that special!

Before I watched the serie, I watched this fanvid and thought that they did get together but somehow grew out with one another and separated even though they still were deeply in love with each other (the way you made it, made me believe that) or that they might be star crossed lovers who couldn't get each other (mostly the first one). But I love your video 😍😍

Well this broken me. Bittersweet and gorgeous. Never seen a more pure and enduring relationship on TV. Great video! I was planning a re-watch with HBOMax already, but then the news of Mira Furlan's passing tossed me head first into it all. I was consumed by J/D when it first aired and I was in middle school. Then again in college. And once again now. I'm shocked by how well I can quote it all. And Mira is still the most brilliant performer. The US did not do enough with her brilliant talent.

I watched the series when it originally aired & I remember how painful the episode with Sheridan's final goodbye was. I cried so hard & now at 46 I still can't think about it without getting upset. Tears are streaming down my face now just writing this. BTW I'm not ashamed to say that I'm a guy that's 6ft 5in 320lbs either. You're simply not human if this doesn't trigger an emotional response in you.

I started watching b5 a few months back, I wasn't sure it was for me at first, then I fell in love with a great series. When sheridan came in, I was unsure of him, but now I am so grateful for his and delenns relationship, thanks for posting!🥰😊❤

I've been waiting for a well done video of these two for ages! And of course you would be the one to deliver it! Their love story was so heart wrenching at the best of times and you captured that perfectly. Perfect song, perfect voice overs, perfect scenes. Really, I think you could not have done a better work, this surpasses perfection. I've loved John&Delenn from the first moment John laid eyes on her - all that wide eyed wonder! - and this video helped me be reminded why that was. Thank you for this video and I hope to see you vid them again some times!

Great vid!! Just started watching B5 once again and I'm amazed about how much this series - and esp. the love story around Delenn and Sheridan - still moves me.
Must have watched this video a few dozen times over the past week. It's one of those that I filed to watch later in January, knowing I couldn't look at it yet. Very glad that I found it again now. It's brilliantly made and the song fits them so well. I may have shed a tear at one moment or the other...

Unbelievable!! This is so amazing -- the voiceovers were absolutely perfect, and I love the little montages you put together, like them walking side by side or their kisses! You really captured the intense, tender beauty of these two characters and the richness of their bond! This was perfect video for this great love story on TV. I loved this love story among the many aspects of B5. I worked for the WB at the time of the show was produced and aired. I will never forget the the opportunity to visit the set. Thanks for creating this video and sharing it.

Thank you so much!! The kiss at 3:02 is from 4x19, but I assume you're talking about the scene after that where they're standing on opposite ends of a hallway..? That scene is from the film "In The Beginning" - their very first meeting! So brief that they didn't remember it when they met again ten years later, but it changed everything for me.
Thank you so much! I also didn't see Babylon 5 until a few years ago. My friend's husband suggested it and kept saying "Just get through season 1!" I thought it was all great, but I understood what he meant. I remember reading that the DVD collection has been on the Space Station since one of the astronauts was such a huge fan :-)

So, apparently this is going to be a sci-fi summer for me. I'm watching BSG, rewatching SGA and after this video I MUST start with Babylon 5. Your description convinced me, plus I really need good ships, and this seems adorable.
YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Feel free to spam me with messages on Twitter or Tumblr when you start it! Btw, just so you know, Sheridan doesn't show up until 2x01.. Season 1 is a bit slow/cheesy, though I still liked it! And it set up a lot of major plot points for the rest of the show. But if you can stick it out until season 2, I PROMISE it's worth it. Personally I felt that the show really hit its stride at 2x18. I was majorly hooked from that episode on.
Oh, and don't watch the unaired pilot called "The Gathering." It was unaired for a reason lolol. Very terrible... Kind of fun to watch after you've seen the show, but definitely don't start with it. XD (The reason I say this is because it's listed as 1x01 on iTunes, but it shouldn't be... The REAL first episode is called "Midnight on the Firing Line.")

I'll watch it very slowly because real life needs me: I've exams I need to study for.
For the same reason I'm stuck at the end of season 1 of BSG. The last episode I saw was 1x11, I think, but I already love that series so much, it will end up being one of my favourites ever.
I've since changed my mind about "The Gathering" - upon watching it for a second time, I believe it would be very good for you to watch it first (or at least while you're still in season 1). I initially told you to skip it because that's what my friends told me to do and thus how I watched the show, but I now think that was a mistake..
Looking at the last image in this sweet vid -- Saint Exupery noted sagely that the greatest love and intimacy isn't even gazing into your beloved's eyes, but looking out together in the same direction.
That's what those 2 characters did, struggling and striving for decent and honorable peace.
As for magnificent Delenn: At the story's beginning her rage -- after Minbari-human first contact goes horrifically wrong -- almost destroys Earth and humanity. The rage, driven by the character's strength, is errant and tragic and apodictic -- and, like Bruce Wayne's at Clark Kent at a certain point, had to have its violent expression, which so gladly both sides/heroes survived. Later -- her relationship with Sheridan surely not hurting, but unnecessary due to, again, the character's quality -- she become humans' greatest ally.

And I'm really sad to say this, but I'm just not that inspired to edit Stargate anymore. From now on it's probably gonna be limited to multifandom vids and one Jack/Sam video on January 1st every year. :(
