- What a WEEK! Wow. TWO vision board items I got to cross off in the same week... coincidence? I think NOT! So grateful. I love acting and filmmaking so much, and I love working with the Babylon Bee! I wanted to bring you guys along for the entire process of filming Episode 5 of the series "Californians Adjust to New Life in Texas" -- which has turned out to be the MOST SUCCESSFUL Babylon Bee sketches +series ever, and the first series ever. Lol. Anyway! Did any part of this process surprise you?! Are you obsessed with Buc-ee's now too?!
I got so inspired by these two bucket list items happening consecutively that I wrote sooo many sketches on the plane back to California, and am filming so many in December for y'all. Got inspired to invest and keep fueling the fire. I'm so grateful to you guys for being here to consume the art I create, and I love to be able to spread joy!!!!

Most of my family has moved from California to Texas, so we relate to the series a lot. Went to Buc-ee's for the first time recently, and my husband agreed that the video is completely true. As soon as I saw that they had flown you to a real Buc-ee's, I started cheering!

Are you just going to spam every single post? Thankful you’ll have peace that all schools are gun free zones, although I hate to inform you but criminals don’t follow the posted regulations, only the good guys do. Personally, I don’t feel safe and gun free zones. Yet all school boards seem to agree that the solution is a posted sign, locking kids in with a murder, and teaching the kids to simply play dead till they are. Just a fact Democrats in 2020 truly did start to defund the police from even having enough money for gun shields to go in. Democrats won, I doubt this is what they want, but it’s what they voted for and got. If you make an enemy out of the weapon you’re missing the point. In all honesty, if you make an enemy out of the person that caused the slaughter you’re still missing the point. This stuff is spiritual, it’s not even a mental illness you can treat with psychology or drugs, we know that. The people with hate in their heart will continue to have hate in their heart until they submit and surrender their life to Jesus, repent of their hate, and renounce it and the power they were giving it and ask Jesus to take it away. Your solution to weaponize only the government against the people is literally what it sounds like you’re suggesting in your other repeated posts on this thread. Are you trying to cause mass death to children? Look at the history of even modern governments using weapons against the people. Look at the history of government manipulating the emotions of people till they surrender their self-defense and rights to stand for good. Don’t you notice how the police were defunded to the point where they couldn’t even protect themselves to go in? Did you notice how many of the Democrats continue to pay for private security? During the time of George Floyd did you even know who Jerry Lewis was the billboard artist who was shot by private security in the back for not wearing a mask? Didn’t you see how policy was to lock children in with a murderer and tell them to play dead till they were dead? I pray that you wake up and stop blaming the tool, and start to see what spiritually at work. Heck, even during the supposed insurrection the only person shot other than those supposedly shooting themselves was an unarmed woman shot by the Democrats private security yet again. I’ve personally had people die, no, not because of a gun, but because of others sin. God is only good. He didn’t create evil. Evil happens in the rejection of him, and his plan of Jesus the Messiah that God freely gave to all as the solution. If you want to be preaching something to save lives preach the Word made flesh from the book of John and Romans and stop repeating what those who could cause the most harm to Children want you to repeat. I don’t want to see guns anymore than you do. But if you want to know the areas that were able to completely lay down all weapons and hate, look to the areas throughout history where the gospel was repeatedly preached and holiness revivals broke out as people no longer claim they believed in Jesus like the demons do, but they started to believe in Jesus as we are called to follow him. I’m talking about the Azuza street revival, for example, where black and white persons gathered in unity before God as family despite it being 1905 and millions became Holy Spirit filled believers thanks to a one eyed black preacher that you probably never heard about because we are not encouraged to hear about that guy in California or how people change as he preached on tabernacling with the Lord according to Scripture. It wasn’t even a message about unity. It was a message about drawing closer to God so God will draw closer to you. The saddest thing would be if he didn’t know what that meant. The people that sound like you seemingly praising liberal policy, are actually the people that guaranteed my uncles unnecessary death thanks to demonic politics and policy, I forgive you. I’ve been through a lot, and I’ve been through with my eyes opened, that makes it a little harder, but there’s many people that are going to wake up, and I pray that they have even more mercy than I’ve had. Because the issues are spiritual. The day of Sandy Hook there was a mass stabbing in China were children’s faces were slashed intentionally, but the government taught the teachers how to disarm a weapon before children were allowed to attend school again. It didn’t even take three days for funding of schools being able to protect themselves to increase, for there to be more weapons and trained individuals to be on school grounds protecting the children. But they still lacked Jesus. And even now the people there are standing against there tyrannical government, but they have to do it on armed, I pray for their safety, I pray for God‘s miracles on their behalf. I pray that people humbly seek the truth, and the truth sets them free.

The Californian's Moving to Texas series is so hilarious! My son and daughter-in-law are a real life Steve and Timpani so it's particularly interesting to me.

My kid came to check on me when I was watching this episode...I was laughing/crying so hard he thought I was upset and sad. The characters' reaction to Buc cee was like my first visit. I didn't expect it and was so unprepared for the amazingness.
I got to admit the gun range episode was hysterically funny and extremely well done both of you were just great 👍 satire at its best 🥰👍

I am from small town Iowa, so when the military sent me to Texas, it was not a major cultural adjustment for me, but I laugh my butt off at this series and imagine there are really people like this (scary thought, I know). I married one of the local girls, so Texas has been my home for a while now. Thanks for the entertainment, and it is cool that people recognized you all!

Watched episode 5 as soon as it dropped. I'd say my favorite part was Timpani admitted to lying about volunteering at the cat shelter and was really going to the gun range.

Welcome to Texas (I immigrated to San Francisco in 1961 from Winnipeg Canada,) We moved from California to Texas in 1968 and put down roots here. My wife was born in Texas, and I got here as fast as I could, so we love the series! The most fun was watching it with my California brother and his wife this Thanksgiving that want to move to Texas - you may have put them over the edge of moving here - lol! They loved it! It has also been great to share with our friends and relatives here in TX and some in TN that haven't yet heard of Babylon Bee - hard to believe, but some people are pretty busy with life in the fast lane also. Thanks BB, "Timpani", "Steve", all the other actors and actresses and producers for creating amazing content that will live long in many memories!

Episode five is the best one so far. Loving this series and now that I've recently moved to Texas from Los Angeles I relate even more. Haven't been to Buc-ees yet but soon. I'm not going to "California your Texas" because I'm finally amongst my people.

I love each and every episode of "Cali to Dalli", and I can understand the "Everything is Bigger in Texas" Buccees. I drive almost the entire length of I-10 from Florida to Tucson, AZ and occasionally stop at Buccees for gas. My goodness, there are certainly enough gas pump islands at one station to service a battalion. Keep up the great work. As long as you are having fun, we are having fun right along with you.

Buc-ees!! I was in shock and awe when I first walked in to Buc-ees. I'm Californian and had to go to Texas for a job assignment. I did excatly what Steve did, I loaded up on Buc-ees merch.
