Heart and Led Zeppelin have history. I saw Heart live back in the late 80s and their encore was Been A Long Time and Nancy really did Jimmy Page proud.
I saw Led Zeppelin perform April 8, 1970 in Dorton Arena, Raleigh, NC. I was 17 and that was best concert to this day I ever saw. Watching this amazing video does bring tears to my eyes.
I nearly fell off my couch when watching this when it first aired and they introduced Ann and Nancy Wilson. Despite Jimmy Page always denying he was influenced by Randy California's (lead for Spirit) "Taurus" where the guitar part is note for note the beginning to "Stairway to Heaven". The original bass player for Spirit was Mark Andes who later joined Heart. So the circle was complete for this outstanding performance.
Randy's (RIP) estate lost the lawsuit as well as the appeal. No actual member of Spirit ever made the theft accusation, it was Randy's relatives after he passed away.
Ok...let's talk about Led Zepplin for a minute...I would LOVE to see you react to Led Zepplins performance of "Kashmir" at their Celebration Day Concert!! It was their last concert together and every time I watch it, I am blown away! To give you a perspective on it, they has 20 thousand tickets for this concert, but within minutes..20 million were requesting tickets!! They had a lottery for it to keep it fair for the millions who wanted to go... LED ZEPPELIN gave it their all in this, they are notably older, I think in their 60's..but you would.never know it if you just.listen and don't watch it... Robert Plant sounds amazing.and Jimmy Page is of course still very animated!! Even if you can't do a reaction , still watch this performance..you will live it!!!!!!
Nice Job!! Do yourself a favor and listen to the NOT edited for TV version. They cut about 30 seconds out of the song and the audio is much, much better!
THE LATE GREAT JOHN Bonzo BONHAM OF LED ZEPPELIN WAS A SELF taut DRUMMER And HE taut his SON JASON HOW TO PLAY the DRUMS And now he is A VERY GOOD DRUMMER
That’s John Bonham’s son on the drums, he’s also wearing his dad’s bowler hat. This is one of those performances that forever gives me chills.

This might be historically viewed as officially the night Rock became Religion
Jason played his dad's drum kit and his signature bowler hat.❤
The Wilson sisters are AMAZING
Awesome reaction! I get goosebumps every time I watch this. I love it when the curtain goes up and the choir is there! Thanks Jess!

Whole show is worth watching. This was the perfect ending to a great tribute
JOHN BONHAM WOULD BE VERY PROUD OF his SON JASON Playing on the DRUMS in this Tribute TO THE GREATEST BAND EVER
Ann Wilson was 62 years old in this performance.
I love the tone of Nancys' guitar! Deep and rich!
The drummer is John Bonham's son with his dad's signature bolo hat.
I love this, but they should have brought Ann's voice up in the mix when the full choir came in.
No one can match Ann's voice!
One of the best reactions/reviews I’ve seen for this video…possibly any video. Great job!
My guy 🙏🙏🙏 I appreciate this - it’s not the channel you need, it’s the channel you deserve
Just for fyi Ann Wilson is 62 yrs old when she did this
Amazing, isn't it!?!
Jack Black did the introduction speech, hillarious!
You need to see the Jack Black presentation of this show. Epic!

I had no idea all the close history of this, thank you so much 🙏

@@johnspinelli6170 All true. What is also true is that Led Zepplin opened for Spirit on tour in 1970 and Jimmy Page heard "Taurus" many times.
Ann Wilson (vocals) & Nancy Wilson (guitar). They are sisters.
I never got to hear Led Z do this song the only time I saw them was May 10, 1969 on their first American tour.
the choir was behind the curtain that went up behind them during the guitar solo.

Oh fam I’ll react for sure? Kashmir is one of my absolute favourites. Thanks for the heads up about the performance!!! Looking forward to it!!
When you want it to be louder, turn it up.
You should look up Jack Blacks intro for Led Zep that kicked off the night. Hilarious!
I heard it was Jason's dad drum kit

Sweety just listen lol
Who the hell pauses during the most iconic rock solo🙄
A selfish idiot.
Word is that the drums were his Dad's. Not sure though.

It’s a shame that you chose the edited version. You missed half the song.
nooo it was the edited version! Ah well, love watchin reactions to this performance.
everyone knows stairway to heaven - except you
You need to shut up and enjoy.
How can you be a Zep fan and stop the video right smack in the middle of the instrumental?????? Sacrilege!!
Too many interruptions! Couldn't finish this reaction.
Agreed
And saying “like” several hundred times
wtf how do you interrupt the best guitar solo ever that sucks
