Dude I'm watching this having flashbacks because it felt so freaking real. They killed it with this one. Should've kept it. Was awesome! Almost crapped my pants.
This was one of my favorite rides or attractions. I went on it summer of 07 too I was like 12. They have this in Universal Orlando as well; yu go on a tour and then at the end yu get to ride it.
i remember when i went on this ride i was 6 and i thought the water was the most wonderful thing in the world and i was mesmerized by how it drained out throught the grates in the floor. i want to go back
Yeah, The Pre-show is completely different (I never got to see it during Halloween Horror nIghts), And the ride is the same. The Gasoline truck, train and water effects are still there, but they installed screens into the trains where the "Director" gives you directions.
i was in line for this ride for like half an hour and when we were inside the building to get loaded in to the tram one of the workers told us that we couldn't go on because the dude who presses all the special effects buttons wasn't there. :(
Everytime the earthquake ride is over: so you get out of there. And all that water and that big truck sliding down is all cleaned up in like 2 something minutes so the next tram could see it. That's crazy
this ride scared the hell out of me 2 years ago, i was bunch all over my dad and sister to the point where the didnt have any room to breath, people was looking at me like i was crazy but i didnt care, but now i love the ride, haha
Holy cow! This one has more construction than the one in California. But I still feel good the earthquake in California because it was also part of a tour
yeh we've been to america 4 times but always to florida i want to try somewhere different but u cant diss florida lol i like it when the water comes in and it starts shaking lol
Ya know what would REALLY suck? If the glass got busted on the ride and all of that water came pouring in, or that truck somehow came off of the track and crashed into the ride
it wasmy 2nd time there so i already knew wat happened other wise i wudnt have volenteered and im dead excited coz im goin there agen on friday 8th aug
LOL I think it's the initial shock that you're being shook around and there's a chance you may get wet!!! People scream at things like that..even when they knew it was gonna happen!!! lol
@JamaconZombie I know. I've been twice since it's been re-done. It's still pretty good though. My favourite part is the old lady gardening, then getting electrocuted (I know that sounds awful, right) I used to like to hear about how they did the weather in movies in the first room too.
this ride is so cool but i luv it at the begining where the pick random pplz 2 cum up and do those things on stage im 14 and i volenteered 4 that weather girl thing pulled the rop and the rain jacket didnt work so i got soaked lol
I wouldn't go on this ride even if someone gave me all the riches in the world. I hate underground transport of any sort all because if this sort of situation.
the diaster ride dont really get fun until this part, the beginning where you act things out was boring at first, im always just ready to skip to this part, haha
Am I the only person that really doesn't understand the concept of using a fatal natural disaster as a form of entertainment? How about "Indonesian Tsunami: The Ride" next? I just don't get it.
Yup, you are the only person. It was created in 1990, for crying out loud and the concept was to put you in a setting where you could experience special effects. Earthquake is perfect for that. Get over it. Idiot. God,to go back when people like you didn't whine about shit like this.
Dude I'm watching this having flashbacks because it felt so freaking real. They killed it with this one. Should've kept it. Was awesome! Almost crapped my pants.

My Dad says that the coolest thing about this ride it's all rebuilt in just 2 minutes.
Yeah, The Pre-show is completely different (I never got to see it during Halloween Horror nIghts), And the ride is the same. The Gasoline truck, train and water effects are still there, but they installed screens into the trains where the "Director" gives you directions.
