One of my favourite horror movie themes. It's simplistic but it perfectly sets the tone and atmosphere of the movie in my opinion. A classic that never get's old.
You know it. *Halloween, Saw, and Five Nights at Freddy’s are my favorite Horror IP’s of all-time COMBINED.* I put my passion into those as blockbusters and franchises more than any horror IP. Except maybe The Shining, Deep Blue Sea, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, IT, Jurassic Park (kinda), Jaws, Ghostbusters, and Monster House.
i made a wrong move and watched kills first but thankfully i understood the franchise and then watched the original thats basically how i became a Halloween fan
Thank goodness this is the authentic movie soundtrack version and not the 1978 published vinyl version with that annoying "thump-thump-thump" sound in the background.
Congratulations, Gilles! You rocked it once again! Do you intend to extend the versions of the 40th anniversary album, too? It would be incredible! Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
I've checked that album. And I will say no. For multiple reasons. As stated in the description of the album, it's not done from the original master tapes, they just ripped the music audio layer from the original movie. Then, the sound is mono and seriously very low in quality. I wished John Carpenter would release his complete recordings from his master tapes instead of that. Maybe they're lost? Because all the albums are re-recording versions...
@@GillesNuytens Yes... It's very sad that we don't have the chance to hear the original versions of the '78 footage. But, I also hope that one day they will be released. Keep up the amazing work, Mr. Nuytens!
I hope i can find all of the Halloween movies, i think i saw a couple. I think the first one and then there was one with the mom and the white horse? Im the type of person who needs to watch things in chronological order to grasp the entirely of the plot and how it unfolds. I didnt grow up in a normal home, was sheltered in foster care and i think was too young to watch them, so i hope i can track down the entire series one day.
Hello. The chronological order of these films is complicated as you have 4 different timelines... The one with the mom and white horse is the second film of Rob Zombie's remake. To my opinion it's by very far the worst of all, almost unwatchable. To summarize, you have: Timeline A) H1, H2, H4, H5, H6 (Halloween 3 is unrelated to the Michael Myers story). For H6 I'd suggest to get the Producer's Cut as it's far better (the story is totally different that the theater's cut, and way more logical). Timeline B) H1, H2, Halloween H20, H Resurrection. Timeline C) Halloween 2007, Halloween 2 (2009): These 2 are remakes from Rob Zombie. The 1st one is okay, the second is terrible. Timeline D) H1, Halloween 2018, H Kills, H Ends. As for the chronological order to watch these, it's up to you. I watched them in the release order.
@@GillesNuytens is there like a whole DVD set with all these? I'd watch em. I'd want to start with the originals of course. Thank you for such a detailed reply. 💗
I was hoping that you could finish doing the soundtracks from the Elm Street films, so far you did the first film, the track from Tuesday Knight for part 4, and the reboot from 2010, are you able to do what remains?? Elm Street Part 2, Elm Street Part 3, Elm Street Part 4, Elm Street Part 5, Elm Street Part 6 (Freddy's Dead), and Wes Craven's New Nightmare?? All of the soundtracks were taken care of for Friday The 13th, including Freddy vs Jason from 2003 and the reboot from 2009, so please get back to me and let me know if the remaining Elm Street soundtracks can get taken care of and also the remaining soundtracks from Scream if possible as well, the first one was just a song I think snd part 6 also got taken care of, can parts 1-5 get taken care of for Scream as well?? Let me know when you have time, thank you so much my friend, you are truly awesome, speak with you again soon 👍👍

@@GillesNuytens Sure no problem, I completely understand where you are coming from when it comes to important tasks and projects such as these my friend, but yeah that's great, take your time and handle it all at your own pace, that only makes it more exciting when tracks get finished, because they got done the way that you wanted them to get done and nobody else along with no distractions, and then that makes it even more exciting when it gets completed and then after that released and then you feel 100 % accomplished and then on to the next track to do it all again, take your time my friend this has no deadline, I will be here, and I can't wait when they get finished, love and respect always my friend 👍👍😊😊♥️♥️
