Hi Emily, I am a severely disabled woman who is bed ridden and am unable to get out to the shops to see first hand what is available. I would therefore like to thank you for taking the time and effort to put this video together so that those less fortunate who are unable to get to the shops in person can see what is available to buy first hand and then get someone to go and purchase whatever they may see on their behalf. Thank you once again for giving up your time and helping people who are not able to get to the shops themselves. Your work is greatly appreciated and how you have filmed it, it is like going on a virtual tour of the shop/shops themselves. So once again, thank you so much for what you are doing x
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. It was really lovely to read your message and I’m so glad you’re enjoying them. I will be putting up more content like this in different locations, I do have some thoughts of where to go but if you do have any suggestions I’ll try my best! Thank again, have a lovely day ☺️
@@emilylondon thank you for your lovely comments and if I think of anywhere else for you to go I will let you know. I know you did the cheaper shops but also M&S, Debenhams, Asda (Walmart), Sainsbury’s Morrisons and T K Max are also places that I ask people to look at the Christmas items/gifts in for me and then they come back and tell me what they have which is not as good as seeing one of your virtual video tours my lovely. I hope this helps x
It’s the run up to Christmas I like best. Getting prepared. Taking the tree down is my least favourite. Bring on the Hotel Chocolate rum soaked sultanas yummy ❤❤
Love Christmas ⛄🎁. Won't be paying £30 for a B and M garland though! What are they thinking, I know inflation and the like but this is supposed to be cheap shop.
Trying to get around these shops in a wheelchair is an utter nightmare because everyone is so rude where I live, gonna brave the shops later today before it gets too busy I hope 🤞🤞 since wilko has gone im worried where to get foil garlands because some of mine broke last year 😢 thank you so much for showing some of the things available so I have a better idea as to if i can stomach it or im not that enamoured with the range 😅
OMG I have never seen the hot chocolate station things before! Just wondering if I can sneak one past my boyfriend without him seeing it (he is the one who comes into town with me 😂😂)
Did you manage to find foil garlands? The range might be worth a look if not. I'm glad the video helped, hope you managed to find some Christmas things when you went to the shops!
A very interesting video. As a crafter I have to say I thought a good amount of B&M Christmas decorations overpriced. I noted that almost everything seems to be in 'round pounds' no 25p, 50p or 75p on many price tags. Other outlets worth looking at are 'The Works' & 'Factory Shop' outlets. 'The Range' is another outlet with good product lines, but again, watch the pricing. Real value is still with online outlets like 'Baker Ross' & 'Hope Education,' not forgetting a careful search of 'Amazon' & 'Etsy.' Great video, not many of this type seem to be produced here in the UK - we get an overload from the USA.
That's interesting, I didn't think about the round pounds until you mentioned it but you're right! The Range Christmas Shopping video is going up this evening at 6pm, I noticed there were a lot more prices at £1.79 in there rather than £2 (for example). Thank you for taking the time to comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Can we get October and November out of the way first before we start clapping for December? Some are far too busy trying to keep mind, body and soul together to see that far ahead.
To be honest, the run up to Christmas helps to keep my mind, body and soul together when the months start getting colder in October and November. I guess everyone's different in what they need and I totally agree with you it is important to be present in the moment.
I’m sorry but now with just hubby and me in our seventies. Christmas is cancelled due to the need of heat and food. It used to be a time of family carols and joy. Now it’s over priced tacky stuff that used to be cheap silly gifts . I cannot believe the price hype just for Christmas.
Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. I think everyone is feeling it this year, I know that doesn't make it any easier. I enjoy looking at all the Christmas things in the shops and hope that it brings other people joy too! There's lots of things to enjoy about the Christmas season like looking at Christmas lights, window shopping, going to a carol service and spending time with loved ones. I find these things make me feel festive and the great thing is they're all free 💕
@@emilylondon that’s all true but with family the other end of the country it’s not possible. Plus my health is stopping us going out the closest we will get to the shops i through you.
I went into Home and Bargain couple of days ago and they have put a pound increase onany items, just fleecing the customer just the same as other stores, sickening
Sorry but there will be a lot off families that will be struggling again this year and the Christmas eve boxes 📦 are only £2 in Asda Adding up on stocking fillers would be heating for a lot off families firstly i don't want to sound like a Barhumbug tho i think it's a lot off pressure for low income families wen bills are just ridiculous at the moment Be smart and only spend what you can
