As a biker of @50 years i Randomly found your videos last night and just wanted to say thanks for sharing your journey.🫂💓 Very humbling and inspiring at the same time..🤗 Enjoy the journey and Ride safe💙🏍️🏍️
Just saw you I'm in the hospital now fighting the big C glad to see your doing ok. I'm kinda jealous of your freedom but you go girl you deserve it I'm from Canada hope stay safe ❤❤❤❤🎉
I am a motorcycle travel video creator and I have to say I really enjoy your videos and your passion about ..everything! No one can get into your shoes, but I really admire your overall strenght and courage. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you don't need long hair for that! You are goregeous as you are now. Please take care, I would love to view more of your videos.
I have ridden through heavy rain. Some cold weather. When you chose to press on into stormy weather I was thinking “ no, wait for it to pass”. I’m glad you when ahead and made it. It’s shows strength and character.

**Sonnet of the Joyful Ride** When morn doth break and gilds the waking sky, Upon my steed of metal, swift and bold, I mount with heart enflamed, as dreams do fly, The open road, my canvas, waits untold. With roaring engine’s voice that doth proclaim, Each curve a sonnet penned by nature’s hand, The wind, a gentle breath, doth kiss my frame, While wheels do spin, like fate’s own twirling strand. O freedom found in each tempestuous turn, The world a fleeting shadow, swift to chase, As heart and spirit in the tempest burn, A dance of joy, in time and space we trace. So let thee ride, and let thy troubles cease, For in the journey lies the soul’s release.
Hi Towestar, I'm surviving 2 cancers since January 2013, Colon and Follicular Lymphoma, the latter being late stage terminal, diagnosed in September 2016. I'm still breathing. I ride a Honda 2005 XL1000 Varadero. My close friends named me "Varadero Man", because like this bike, I keep on going. I get the feeling you'll do the same for as long as you can. Bless you.
Best wishes and good health from the UK, I to ride a motorcycle and it’s definitely a great therapy, all your problems are forgotten about whilst riding. The only thing better for me is my dog 😊 Enjoy it all and good luck.
Fearless brave couragious .. u r on a journey, listening to your soul telling u to face those fears n ride above n over them, life is on the other side of fear..............most ppl live their lives trappd by fear n addictions.. u r doing the opposite.. i feel blessed to find your channel n adventures
This is the second of your RUclips adventures I’ve seen. I’m looking forward to seeing others already in your list. Yet for some reason I want to take my time witnessing your incredible journey of discovery. The videography and narration is professional but so much more impactful through the inspiration you so naturally create in others, myself included. By the way, I love your short hair. Do not doubt yourself, it is sexy, it creates an air of mysterious intrigue and most important, it really suits you. I’m interested in finding out whether you chose to keep it that way. By the way, I feel the different reaction you’ve been receiving from men is nothing to do with not conforming to a fantasy stereotype. It’s because you are different to the norm if not unique and that will be disarming to many. Stay free. Stay yourself.
You just popped up in my feed. I just went through 6 months of chemo last year. It was a wakeup call for me too. I've been riding since I was 12 and I am 44 now. I just know I need to appreciate the time I have. Thanks for your video and perspective of how you are managing with your new life. 🍻
Ahhh... it is so refreshing to hear genuine emotion. Thank you for sharing not only the good parts of the trip, but also the joyless and disappointing moments. It makes it real and relatable.
I live with autoimmune diseases and struggle with my energy etc, have to adhere to a very strict diet and lifestyle, I'm also a biker and, nervous as I am, am getting ready to set off on a big adventure, you are absolutely amazing and have inspired me incredibly, what a strong individual you are, amazing. Keep being awesome . ❤️ 🙏
Thank you for posting this. I had cancer as a kid and mostly dealt with it by knowing that it was in the past so I didn't have to remember it, but a few years ago I discovered that I had been and am living with Long-Term Cancer Effects after it considerably worsened with stress, and will be living with it to some extent for the rest of my life. Seeing both it and something that I hope to include as a central part of my future (motorcycling) existing together is something that I didn't realise I needed so, thanks.
You are such a brave and incredible warrior. I got chills when you said you were doing this trip after ending chemo 3 months ago. You did it, and absolutely crushed it. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, your thoughts, and your adventure. Your strength and determination are shining through. Sending you much love.💗
Hey Towe, amazing, thank you for sharing this Video. Kudos to your courage and how you deal with life's adversities. You are truly inspiring, cheers Pat
Beautifully made video. The first few days are usually tough, getting a new flow for each day. And you are coming from such an extreme situation it will take a bit of time and experience to settle in to life on the road.
Beautiful bike. I have never seen it before, or maybe I was just not paying attention. You are looking very good in black and then, as en extra, those orange glasses, you were ready to appear on a podium for mannequins! No wonder people were staring at you 😉😉
You are an inspiration. I recently lost a friend to cancer and I watched him fade away without a fight...just fade away. I just watched two of your youtubes and will continue to watch them. I hope you find joy and grace in the days ahead...find adventure, courage, beauty and a place in the hearts of all those you touch through your journey and your youtubes. Thank you for sharing
You are so inspiring. I am going through Chemo with Multiple Myeloma here in Australia & like you there is no cure. I also struggle with the thought of how long do i really have? Next year i plan on doing a ride that i had always wanted to do but always told myself i will do it someday. I have it planned now with some friends because like you my mindset has changed & i want to live & experience more in my uncertain future. Watching you do this has made me realise its time to stop procrastinating & do it. Good luck & i hope you enjoy every minute!
thank you for sharing, im so happy you are finally doing it. my fear was/is always that i will have to go back to chemo again soon and then sit there with regrets that i didnt take advantage of the time being off chemo.. its great that you have the trip to look forward to. i wish you all the best, and i am so sorry that this is happening to you
You are an inspiration! I’m not long off chemo too so know how nackering it is and how long it takes to get some strength back. What an amazing woman you are. My cancer had a very low survival rate but here I am still fighting and back on a bike after a 20 year break. Enjoy every moment. Much love.
I Found your channel and after watching your first video I subscribed. I love motorcycle travel and have been riding for fifty years. Every bike trip takes time to develop its own rhythm and you will begin enjoying your ride once you surrender yourself to the rhythm and relax into it. You are facing a difficult challenge with bravery and determination and I respect and admire you for that. Sending love and positive energy from Vancouver Island, Canada.
