I like your driving. Turn signals, nice distance from other cars, giving slower vehicles a chance knowing they're slower. You may be quick in traffic, but you're not an ass doing so.

That was one of the reason why I went with the Performance Package. The 3.73 gears are absolutely perfect for me no matter what kind of driving I’m doing. 6th gear is still long enough for higher speed cruising at low RPM’s which is dope.

Ive been on a little journey trying to find my next car. I have spent countless hours researching different builds, cost, reliability in the long run/maintenance costs per year.
For the longest time I've had 4cyl turbo builds on the mind (2017 ish brz boosted or something..or boosted 2007-2015 civic si).
But for around 30k-40k canadian ($20-$30k U.S), all in, you can't beat this. Its everything I want and it will be more reliable, in stock form, than any modded/boosted brz or civic.
Plus, at the end of the day you can't beat that sound!
That's right. Get a good stock naturally aspirated V8 motor. The rumble feel and the sound connect you to the drive way more than whistling air and top end speed. They are reliable and can take the beating. You can always add the forced air down the road if you really are racing to speeds exceeding 150. Personally, all my racing is rolling street challenge and the Coyote 5.0 has never let me down.
Had a Murcielago tell me I drive a GT like a demon. It took him 6 seconds before he could even start pulling ahead. From 50mph to 135 dead heat.
Nothing but the basic mods. Cooler, intake, fuel pump, throttle body, injectors, headers, exhaust, and stage 2 tune. All done for less than any turbo or supercharger.
I think i might have to get one now holy shit that thing sounds so good

also I had a quick question, hows the drone with a catless x pipe and roush axle backs. Also did you keep the 2 tiny resonators on there?
Drone is not as bad as people say it is

@@zlowyote Ahh I see. Thanks for the response, I was wondering because I'm looking to trade in my v6 mustang for a gt and I personally like the looks of the s197 better than the s550. I've been looking at different exhaust setups and yours by far sounds the best. Only thing I'd do differently is probably go catless H instead of catless X pipe, but other than that it's perfect. I've got a 30ish minute commute on the highway though, so that would be the only concern as far as drone goes.

@seth1451 You don't like the drone? I love it. I guess you could always add a woofer under the seat. When I jam my Shaker stock system, I barely notice it.
I have a 2014 GT with 15k miles in it. When this body style came out in 05, I knew I was going to have one. Will be selling my BMW soon and keep the Mustang for my retirement years.
You ain't driving that thing with only 15k miles on it. Drive it! Don't wait until retirement. 😂

love to see people use a clutch these days, nice driving! i love mustangs. a barton short throw (or the F perf, but i think its too $$) will change your whole life, and a stainless steel clutch cable will change your life after 6k RPM. thanks for buying a Ford, go Lions!
Got a Barton short throw and a stainless steel clutch line with a McLeod twin disk, it’s pretty great.

It’s normal, MT-82 is clunky in general. Also depends on your clutch setup. High performance is more clunky than stock clutch because it bites harder.

My car is a 14'. The 13'/14' came with 420 HP, and the 11'/12' came with 412 HP stock. The 13/14 are more refined and Ford basically squeezed some extra HP out of them through some minor engine changes. The car bone stock makes around 365 WHP. 3,400lbs, rear wheel drive, dual overhead cam, straight axle. These cars are plenty fast.

I got the same car but when I downshift it doesn’t make that noise. How do I get it to make that noice on downshifts
Clutch in and hold it, tap the gas pedal to the correct rpm, as fast as you can put car into correct gear you’re downshifting in, then slowly let out the clutch. It’ll take some time to get used to, but this is how you properly rev match.

Catless, x-pipe, roush axle back, Eibach Sportline Lowering springs, AMR wheels, Mickey Thompson 255/35/19 in front and 285/35/19 in the rear, along with a sequential brake light mod and I’m gutted

Very reliable, just make sure you do your basic maintenance and don’t skip out on it

O3/04 Cobras are amazing especially when you throw a whipple on it and make 700+ HP. But I’d rather have a 13/14 GT500 anyday, just because updated interior, the tail lights, and I like the body style more.

@@zlowyote Ford told me thought it was. A vacuume leak but they said it was the computer it's jerking and hesitating when accelerating

The Rimac has 1020hp and it’s electric and sounds like nothing so 🤷🏻♂️ loudness doesn’t have to add up to hp
