Photoinhibition. Plants can try to avoid excessive light = "photo protection responses", but if it is consistently too high it will lead to photoinhibition which slows photosynthesis. What would happen if you used SP-6500 (1000+ umol) without co2?
Photoinhibition. Plants can try to avoid excessive light = "photo protection responses", but if it is consistently too high it will lead to photoinhibition which slows photosynthesis. It can also lead to bud bleaching/clorosis. If you can see evidence of too much light on the plants then you are already well past the optimal point. Grower Love
@@DrMJCoco Thank you my friend. SP-6500 is very impressive. I saw your whole 1-hour video about the SP-3000 and I thought that 2 SP-3000s in 4x4 couldn't be beat, but SP-6500 had a better distribution despite being just ONE big strip. Very strange.
IM Sorry 🤔have to ask just want make sure..but I have a odd space 3 x 7 feet would this cover my edgs?? & Around what would those #s look like at 7ft roughly of course? Thanks in advance
Light mover? Many cannabis plants from the chem and cookie lineages make prettier stinkier flowers under less intense light. And it can speed up the growth of your lowers and inners.
Yeah, it won't cover the ends very well and there would be a lot of light in the middle. I think with 7' in one dimension you would be best to use 2 fixtures. Perhaps 2 of the FC3000s - check out my video on that one, two of them might be a good choice in that space
@@DrMJCoco 🙏 thanks.. I was thinking of end to end with 2 of them? Orr really open to whatever could cover the length 🤔👍👍
@@juliankirby9880 thanks
😀 I dream of these,,,love my Mars
That thing's crazy
Ok let's get this out on a tray ok alright 👍.
Mars is the sxxt I got a tsl2000 in a 3z4 had 2 plants got 3/4 pound now got a tsl2000 and a sp150 in the same tent and 4 plants hoping for a pound and a quarter ro so fingers crossed 😹 LOL

I have the tsl2000 and this news is music to my ears :)
wow, wish i could afford this
my dealer has sp6500 without uv and ir how is it possible?
are there more versions? could someone give me more information?
I’m sat here after buying one looking at the description saying no ir and uv thinking wtf? Lol
Why the hell would they randomly remove it
@@musicloveraby those diodes don't last as long the other ones and are more expensive to buy, could also be a shortage of something they use for the filter that gives the lights it's color.
@@f_youtubecensorshipf_nazis yeah i’m happy with the sp3000 as it us to be fair, would be interesting to know the performance difference with uv and ir
How much electricity does that lamp use per month
I measured it at 630 w @ 120v. It would depend on how long you had it turned on.
Dr MJ Coco in bloom that is 12 hours of current on for a month how much do you spend
360 hours per month
@@obedmartinez4051 wtf. I can run a 1k hps and pay less than that on 120v per month. Fuck your electric company.
Now I have to get this one as well 😭 lol
What’s the price tag
$800
@@kushlungs3367lumatek Zeus kind of money
@@williamswhistlepipes much better distribution from the zeus but Alibaba bar lights for the win, £300 for a 600w bar light. Yessir.
Plz do the new HLG 100rspec!!!!!!!
@Cody Monko they just came out wensday broski idk what light your talking of
Wow, imagine this thing in a 2 x 4!!! 😆 😆 😆 You'd have to rent a CO2 tank.
Actually it's perfect for a 2x4.
Sp3000 u mean!? Like wtf lol
@@leopold-buttersstotch9353 i heard it’s perfect for a 2x4 as well to be honest lol
Get the experience of top brands at one third of the price
How much watts it draw
What would you say to 3x sp3000 in a 1.5x1.5 without added c02.?? Reckon it will be okay? Not too much light?
Lol what!? Put down the pipe, you dreaming.
@@leopold-buttersstotch9353 why? 2x sp3000 is perfect for 1.2 x1. 2 so an extra 1 wouldnt do much harm in a 1.5 x1.5
Phill Roberts are we talking meters!? I'm confused.
@@leopold-buttersstotch9353 yes meters. 1.5m x1.5m tent.
....if so, sorry don't want to do the actual math. 4x4 area vs. trying to make 5x5 area work? I think you'll be fine, I hadn't woke up properly before commenting. Oops 🙃
One almighty dust collector...
Shit I was here for the preview and got sidetracked making some modifications to my tent lmfao if anyone has any Rec's for a cheap light for a 2x4x6 along with a cheap humidifier lemme know. Would love everyone's thoughts. I know it's not the place really, but I've asked everywhere else.
To much light for home growers. Lol. This will be the 4th light in my grow.
Completely lost me at "to much light for homegrowers" lol I love my mars light. And theres no such thing as too much light. These are designed for up to a 5x5 area. Perfect for any home grower looking to fill a 5x5 or 5x8 tent or room.
*too much.

Yes, that happens. It is their company name in Chinese characters. It is not a scam. Sounds like you got a cool room in the works! Grower Love
Marshydro NOT playing any games
Mars hydro is killing the LED game once again. Could also kill your plants if you don't know what you're doing. Lol with this light anyway.
I do find it disappointing they didn't put the uv diodes in the fc series models yet. I have the fc-4800 and it doesn't have them even though it was advertised on Amazon with them. Emailed them about it and they came up with some janky excuse of having shortage of the diodes and won't be available to the public for another month or two. Why sell them advertised with them and not have it.. Good lights but bad business with the false advertising.
😆
Poo
Sp 3000 draws 300 i guess this draws 650?
yup
Published is 650, I measured it at 630w - it is a lot of power to run through a single LED bar!
Dr MJ Coco are theses comparable to a gavita 1000w de Iv yet to see any led produce the size and density of 1000w de ?? Would 2 sp3000 be the equivalent of 1000w hps or x2 sp6500 out perform a 1000w de covering 4x4 🤔
@@daveking777 my question is why would you run a 1k de hps in a 4x4. Those are meant for 5x5. Do you have the light mounted high so you can grow from start to finish w/o moving your light?
The commentary is like one long run on sentences. Damn take a breathe
