This is some great old style action with these two guys really in sync with each other and that big Leach blade taking all those heavy set outs with ease. These Mack’s pair very well with the ribbed Leach bodies imo. Great work.
There is nothing like a good old 25yrd Leach 2RII Rear Loader on a Mack MR688s tandem drive chassis powered by a Mack E Tech 7 AMI 300 still earning a good living in large amount of trash!!! I really miss seeing them alot back in Long Island, NY where I grew up; Not to many down here in FL where I live now; & they're very seldom now;(((((
bitterman112 great to finally find out what kind of engines these are! they’re certainly a favorite of haulers in the Northeast. I can imagine they’re harder to find in Florida, but there’s not one to be found down here in the Southwest . Glad you enjoyed!

You can see at the end of part 4 that all the garbage men meet in one spot and guys will move from truck to truck. It's an interesting system
