Aww.. I loved a lot of Yesung’s cute and excited expressions in this episode, but at the same time there’s also something about the episode as a whole that makes me feel like it’s not quite the same Yessay/K-Heritage style that I’ve come to love…
There are individual moments that I enjoyed both of Yesung solo and moments with siwon and ryeowook too… but perhaps it’s the filming style or the format of this video, or the background music or how the shots were set up (I can understand how the shots here would feel less ‘scenic’ than the usual Yessay shots since it’s in a kitchen), or perhaps it’s also even a bit about the fact that there are more people that had to be captured on camera..? I can’t quite pinpoint it to just one thing. 😅 I even missed the pd-nim and writer-nim’s usual commentary and questions in the background haha. ;) I understand though how with so many cooks in the kitchen, they probably had to be more quiet. 😅
I still rewatched this many times though and enjoyed seeing how to make these treats for Chuseok! And so I hope the Yessay team considers my comment as constructive feedback and not as criticism. :) Yessay is still my favorite! 🫶🏼

I really enjoyed learning about some of the special food associated with Korea's chuseok holiday and watching our boys have such a fun time together! Yesung and Siwon, as the least experienced cooks, did really well and Ryeowook's talent as SuJu's long-time cook deserved high praise. More videos like this, please!

It was my first time watching traditional Korean sweets, and I felt they were elegant and beautiful, but somehow so familiar. Hearing about the memories of making these sweets with family on special occasions, I knew that there were nostalgic scenes like the same in every country and felt warmed. Hehe...at first I was worried about Siwon and Yesung,over the years I knew Wooky was great at the kitchen! Very experienced!.I was pleasently surprised at how well Siwon and Yesung improved under the teachers tender support of their cooking skills!!! Woah! Yesung did a great job with the knife and rolling the dried persimon! Siwon did great and created really dainty pastries!
It was a very sweet chapter and learned a lot! Thank to K Heritage and the lovely and patient teacher for this MASTER CLASS!!!!
Our teacher have the patience (: i dont know why I'm feeling sorry for her. btw, I love this content so much. Thank you for inviting SJ in this content genre. I would love to see Kyuhyun and Leeteuk also for this if possible
伝統菓子は日本にもありますが、貴重な食材や身近にあるものから、手仕事を重ねて心を込めて美しくおいしく作られている行程が見られて楽しかったのと、人を喜ばせようとする心は世界共通だとわかりました。韓国のやっかは大好きなお菓子のひとつで。みんなが手作りしている姿も楽しかったし、本格的なものも食べてみたいと思いました。韓国の文化食べ物に触れられてまた韓国に行きたくなりました。そして、シウォンさん、リョウクちゃんと一緒にいるイェソンさんが、とてものびのびしていて、少し心配でした😊が本当に楽しかったです。

EP.12 and EP.11 are both very interesting. In addition to the cultural heritage of architectural styles, the cultural heritage of eating habits is also very special. They should make these available in shop ( although not as good as fresh made) so that more people get to taste it. I would like to find these easily available so we can buy and bring home overseas.
Yesung looks so chaoticly funny here, he get away with just devouring those snacks and let Siwon/Ryeowook do the review on what they eat, how it taste, smells 😂 though it's almost turn into chaos midway

이 에피소드 보고 여기 나오는 디저트 다 맛 보고 싶네요!! 그리고 설명 듣고 인도 과자랑 비슷한것 도 있어요!! 송편은 인도 남쪽에 kozhukkattai (코루까따이) 라는 과자랑 비슷해 보이고, 개성주악은 thaen mittai (톈미타이) 라는 디저트랑 비슷해요. 그리고 만두약과는 인도 북부의 디저트 Gujhia (구지야)랑 비슷해요!! 만드는 과정과 비주얼 비슷하니까 맛도 너무 궁금해요!! 한국에 다시 가게 되면 꼭 먹고 싶어요!! 😍😍😍
