About 10-15 years ago, I found a chart of the food pyramid and flipped it upside down. There I fixed it. These days, I eat mostly fats and meat, with an occasional piece of fruit and or vege. And I will splurge with an occasional treat about 3 times a year.
That pyramid to me looks like a large slice of PIZZA, and I really, *really* luv Pizza!!! 🤣
Well, a number of us fell for "Dr." Faucci's scam (completely made up non-science social distancing) and his sofa cushions with his picture of himself on them is really over the top...

My doctor still buys into the carbo pyramid base. It's in the mass-produced leaflets he has given me. My darling wife will never relinquish and unlearn it. IT goes deep into the food axioms of our culture. The carbo industry did a great number on us. The profit taking on carbs is BIG and the shelf life long. What is more, when did you last see a mouldy piece of bread? Bread is stiff with preservative which exterminate the microbiome.
