The amount of resources and effort you put in to these videos really shows. I hope you can quickly build a fan base and get to a point where companies endorse you and send you free stuff
I sincerely hope the same as well Jay. But truthfully, I think that’s already happening. The support I’m getting from my viewers is amazing. I was blown away to have reached 3000 so quickly, I can only hope brands start to take notice and trust me to deliver true and honest reviews. Thank you very much for such kind words. It means a lot to have your support
Good comparison! I agree with all you said about the UA shoe. I love mine, but I top out at 10k races in it. It's especially fun in that diatance I'll be doing a half in the fall and will need to look for something else for that
I was worried that I was being unfair but these were my honest views and I thought the main thing for me, was stressing the firmer and stable ride in these but but only at shorter distances
Thanks for the reviews!! I think the Vaporfly would be my top pick, BUT the Velocity Elites are on sale on their website for $93.98 right now (with their NEWYEAR discount)!!! Sooo I think I’m gonna go with Velocity.
Thank you so much Dominic, doing my best to remain consistent and sharing useful and engaging content. I’m grateful for the support I’m getting! Truly appreciated when I get comments like this
I really love the flow outsole. Its pretty sticky and grips well. They last a long time. But i do agree Under Armour has questionable quality assurance on some of their finishing touches. They are getting there, though. UA shoes only really started getting serious 5 years ago Never had any luck with Nike shoes. Always got them and they never were my go to shoe. Thanks for the review.
@@AubreyRunning I have many UA shoes. And I haven't had luck running in any of the HOVR foam. The machina 3 were decent. I will always get the Phantom each year, but that's more a wear out and gym shoe. The mega clone looks interesting. Reminds me of their infinite.
Hey Aubrey, love your videos and I’ve been watching for a while but I’m a little worried that you have gotten to caught up in the race day shoe hype. I hope that we can get some more videos on daily trainers in the future. Thanks
Of course, I will do my very best to switch things up. Definitely not caught up at all but I had seen a lot going with the Velociti Elite currently and wanted to make sure that I give a view of this shoe versus what I believe to the best race day shoe to date. But be assured that I’ve taken your point on board Jack 🙂
Thank you so much JT. The support has been amazing. And also… thank you to you as well for being as engaged as you are with the content. I do t take that for granted
Yeah both these shoes are great for what they are. They are both high performing for the right person. I personally get along with the Vaporfly more than the Velociti elite. Once the new Alphafly comes out, I will definitely review it.
Great and comprehensive review. The Flow Velociti elite does not come in a Uk size 4, only the Flow Velociti Wind. The specs are the same, only the elite has the added carbon plate.
Hard question to answer but what do you suggest for an economical marathon training shoe? I'm in a build up phase, I use the alphafly on race day but they are too expensive to train in. Thanks, love your content!
My advice is to always try the previous version of the current shoe to train in because it will be much cheaper. Other than that, I will always recommend Nimbus 25 and Nike Invincible 3 for long runs. I’d suggest trying the Adios Pro 2 for your speed work. It’s now discounted as well.
Aubrey's suggestions are both awesome feeling shoes but definitely NOT economical at €180-€200 here in Europe!! Dunno where you live but if you can find a Nike Invincible 2 at a good discount, I would definitely pick that any day over the 3... I got a second pair recently for only €90! Can also pick up the Hoka Clifton 8 for under €90, Saucony Ride 15 or even better the Triumph 20 for more cushion (I got mine for €82) or if you like a slightly firmer ride go for the Puma Velocity Nitro 2 with heaps of great deals online, even under €60 here!! 👍🏻🏃🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
@bev9708 thank you. I actually just picked up the saucony for 80.00 and I thought that was a good deal and i like the shoe a lot. Thanks to both of you!
great video Aubrey, I haven't tried the UA but feel they wouldn't work for me and, having already got a few super shoes, I don't want to waste over £200 to find out!
I got the UA Velociti Elite at a sale price of around $126, so I chose that over a full price Nike Vaporfly 3 since it also has a carbon plate. No regrets so far but we'll see as I'll take it for a race day soon. 🤞
@@AubreyRunning I'm preparing for a 10K. I found this as light, fast, stable, bouncy fun, I literally feel the wind in my feet (and its summer!), not too soft is good for me (as it does not soak up momentum) and my current stats backs it up makes me a bit faster. I just use trainers before on race days now I have a race day plated shoe, definitely worth the upgrade for me and its within my budget. Edit: I agree though I wont pick up Velociti run at full price $250 there are other better options at that range.
I don't have the Under Armor Velocity Elite, but I do have the Vaporfly Next Percent 3. I can only tell you this, (IMHO) the Vaporfly 3 is not for me. Running in the Vaporfly 3 caused my legs to feel very fatigued during my run, and also caused me a calf strain. The durability on these shoes are horrible, with only 9 miles out of the box, the outsoles on the heels look like they were put through a shredder. This is not something you want to see when you pay $250 U.S dollars of your hard earned money. These shoes won't work for me moving forward.
I love people highlighting such things because it adds to the perspective and review I offer. Thank you for highlighting this and please keep this kind of input coming!

I love that ZoomX foam in Nike's race day shoes, its just on another level 👌🏻
Love it the most in the Invincible series. Just comfort redefined. The feeling that max cushion shoes should give the runner

I’m actually excited about the MEGA shoe. That’s their max cushion shoe and I think that may be a shoe worth getting for review. Have you tried it?

Perfectly agree with each Word Aubrey. And what about alphafly 3? I only tried in the shop and they gave me the boom sensation

I think it’s a great shoe all round. Can’t fault it apart from the issues I highlighted
The Flow Elite has more foam with 2 densities
@@ballgameshoes8583 thanks for the info, I guess its a better shoe.

Wear What's Comfortable for You. That's what I always say.

@Aubrey Running Absolutely Aubrey, keep up the great work!
Aesthetic-wise... which one do you personally prefer? You gotta look good while sweating your guts out... lol
Absolutely, I have to say the Velociti Elite is more striking and eye catching for sure. UA takes this one
