I’ve also been shopping Glossier since they were first starting out, and over the years I’ve tried most of their products as they’ve come out. I agree that there are hits and misses, and products I like, but just don’t buy anymore. The thing about Glossier for me is that there is something so enticing about owning and using nothing but Glossier, all packed up in pink bubble wrap pouches, but in real life I need more than Glossier can give me.
This is probably the most accurate reflection of Glossier I’ve ever seen. I loved Gloss so much.., but only three products were repeat buys for me. I’m still looking for a boy brow dupe. The mascara was so minimal that I used Thrive instead. I love the skin tint but MAC makes one that is a notch above Glossier. Loved the cloud paint but there are other balmy blushes now. That body hero lotion is amazing. I liked being the Glossier Girl but There was only a few items that were game changers in how I started wearing make up. The serums were terrible for me, but I was deep into skin care. I need some boy brow and lotion but I’m waiting for them to hit Sephora. I just feel like I’ve outgrown Glossier.
I would love to see more of this type of video! 15 cream shadows in 15 minutes! 10 most special, shiny singles in 10 minutes! 20 hyped products in 20 minutes! I can think of so many combinations
For anyone interested in brow flick, I would highly recommend the Milani brow pen instead. While it’s not as budge proof as brow flick, the tip is much skinner, which makes the strokes a little lil more realistic. The nyx control freak brow gel + milani brown pen has been my favorite combo thus far.
For dry patches a gripping primer like the milk hydrogrip is excellent. It almost like glues the dry patches down and smooths over them. Makes foundation look so much better
The structure of this video is great. I don’t think I have seen this done before. I’m not a Glossier connoisseur but I enjoyed this format and how you spoke on each product one by one. Well done HLP ❤️
Lash slick is my fave mascara ever! I feel like it works so well for me because I have small deep set eyes and it seems that every other mascara is just so overwhelming on my face. But it's clearly an underwhelming product for makeup afficionados, it doesn't do much.
It's the only mascara that doesn't flake or smudge off when I'm sweaty at work or my eyes water from allergies. It's definitely not for a glam look, but my everyday goal is just to make my lashes visible, and it works for that.
I love glossier. The marketing/aesthetic really speaks to me as someone who enjoys makeup but doesn’t wear/own much and who likes the natural look. Definitely hits and misses but mainly hits for me. My faves would be: milky jelly cleaner (after I use a cloth to remove makeup), skin solution (I think it’s called that), rich moisturiser, futuredew, cloudpaints, boy brow and generation g lipstick.
I actually adore lidstar, the shimmer liquid eyeshadow! I have extremely oily skin and struggle with shimmery powder eyeshadows since they crease badly on me, but seriously I have put that liquid eyeshadow on at 5am, worn it rowing, worn it all day, taken it off at 11pm and it still looks perfect. The new gold shade (I think it's called bun) looks so pretty as a monochrome eye look. It's on the same level as cloud paint for me.
I have just recently stumbled across your channel, and I must say you are my dream creator. Elegant, simple, well spoken and your sort of grunge “hippy” vibe is just so refreshing and beautiful. Very much a muse for me. 🤟🏼
The packaging on those glossier lipsticks break so easily. Both of mine don’t close all the way anymore, which is so weird for a product that’s significantly more expensive than drugstore 🙄
Also, as someone who has both dusk and beam in the cloud paint, I’ve found that a great way to go through beam is to use just a touch of it mixed in with dusk! For me at least it accomplishes the slightly less intense, more muted version of what I wish beam was.
Patrick Ta would come close, you've got most products they've released. I'm down for the red lipstick. But you might want to keep track and do ELF or Maybeline one day. I always love a hero to zero product review of a brand. Reminds us that being a brand Stan isn't worth it.
I agree!! I would love to see a red lipstick review and would love to hear your thoughts on the Elf products as I’m in Australia and they are hard to find, but I hear great things about them. I would also love to hear your thoughts and Wet n Wild products too 🙏🏻😘
Your sweet little kitty LOVES YOU SO MUCH! Thank you so much for being a refreshing person when it comes to reviewing makeup. Your evaluations feel very genuine and thorough.
I've tried almost everything from glossier, what I really really love is the perfume, and the Gen G lipsticks, specially Cake, Leo and Jam (the new formulation); I did love the concealer and highlighter but they broke me out. BTW, I love that in every of your looks, your skin has that healthy hydrating glow
Glossier You is so good. I bought it without having any idea what the scent was going to be. I also think the bottle is genius. It has a perfect spot for your thumb as you spray.
I love the glossier foundation still. I use it a lot to lighten other foundations or to add a bit of dewy feeling. It made the Fenty tint sit beautifully 💕
Ok, that was 28 minutes tormenting myself because you still can’t buy Glossier in the Netherlands 😢😤😡. Would love to try 3 or 4 products of Glossier. Glossier, we are waiting over here!!!! ❤️❤️
I am utterly obsessed with you style. The makeup and the fashion videos. I have not been this excited about dressing and makeup in long time. Keep up the great work!
My top 3 from glossier are absolutely the stretch concealer, you perfume, and the Gen g lipstick (specifically the shade Leo). I did just get the cleanser concentrate though, and I’m definitely enjoying it!
Great idea for a video. also bringing Sadie on camera is the equivalent of being friends with a supermodel and just casually dropping their name in convo. Ridic. I'm a fan.
Would you consider doing an updated perfume video? I love how you speak about scents and hearing you speak about Glossier You made me search your channel for videos on the topic.
Totally agree with you on the Balm Dotcom. It does nothing for my lips except sit on top. I love Lash Slick for my bottom lashes only, but I only buy it when they do their Nov sale. Love this style video! 💕
Wow ! It’s amazing how skin is so different, the Body Hero never pilled on me. The only thing I had an issue with was I had to get used to the Peony? scent. I love how that lotion worked and made my skin look. I love your videos , I hate that I just now found them. Sorry for the abundant comments.
BTW, I picked up the Jason Wu brow shaper because you mentioned it was great for layering products on top of, it has changed my brow game!!!! I have dry skin so I use glossy base products, but that means pencil never stays in my patchy brows, the Jason Wu product gives my brow products something to hold on to & I freaking love it!!!!! I'm going to have to replace it soon. Thanks for a great review.
Love haloscope, cloud paint, lidstar in cub (very subtle, but have learnt to love) wore skin tint on my wedding day, trying out stretch and am working through lash slick, don’t hate it but I don’t love it and really miss my buxom mascara for a fluttery look
@@kristenefox7001 I probably am their target audience but I have nothing but disdain for their cool girl, you can't hang with us vibe they put out. So in my pretty decent sized stash there is nothing glossier and never will be. I'm not about excluding people
Omg my aunt gave me her Glossier hand cream because it didn’t smell like anything to her (she has the perfume so she knows what it’s supposed to smell like). I used it and I loved the light smell.
Girl, your video concept creativity has been on fire lately!🔥 Love it! So happy to see your year of doing what you love seems to be working out so well for you 💕 PS. LOOOVEED seeing Sadie so much in this video 😻
FutureDew is my go-to primer for the winter, and I do like Milky Jelly and the Cloud Paints…that’s about all I’ve really used from them. Interesting re: your recommendation for Stretch Concealer. I might try that once I’m done with my current HG Rituel de Fille concealer.
Personally I think the glossier niacinamide is better than the ordinary one because my skin is so sensitive that the 10% is too much so the glossier is better at 5%
Agreed with ALL YOUR OPINIONS 10000%. esp what u said about cloud paint and the strech concealer - down to what you mentioned about it maybe clogging ur pores but after acquiring knowledge on skin care ingredients you believe it probably didn't. I had the same experience. So funny.
Lash Slick is my favorite product they've ever released omg. I'm so sad you didn't have a good experience. I've found it's great if you already have long, voluminous lashes so I guess black water is apt haha
Quick fire reviews are fun so I think you should do more 😊 Not sure what of though! I was so surprised how much glossier you have tried haha I've only got a cloud paint, which I didn't like at first but I like it now.
Happy Saturday Hannah ☺️. So funny you posted a video because I was just watching a video of you going through your single eyeshadows. I am OBSESSED with your eyeshadow collection!I They are stunning as is the eye look on your eyes! The green is beautiful and very flattering!! Thank you for continuing to inspire me everyday through makeup 💚💄☺️
I love lash flick as it's so natural for me, but I'm Indian with crazy long lashes already. My issue with Glossier is their lack of shipping to other countries. I'm in Australia now, and they're missing out on my money. It's such a weird business model that they aren't even considering it (I emailed to ask as well).
Lidstar is soooo much better formulated than the Skywash. I thought Skywash was going to be my perfect everyday simple eyeshadow, but I hate working with it. Lidstar is buttery smooth in comparison, but I don't really like the finish for my everyday lowkey look.
The only thing I've tried from Glossier that I haven't liked is the Haloscope highlighter stick. I just need a bit more glow and shine in a highlighter. Everything else I've tried I've liked. I've tried their concealer, lip vinyl, generation g lipstick, ultralip lipstick, lip glosses, lip balms, futuredew, boy brow, brow flick, cloud paints, fragrance, and skincare, and liked all of them.
Generation G has a texture that acts to line the lip as well which is wonderful. Incredibly flattering shades. Mist user friendly red too. Lip Gloss looks beautiful but is so uncomfortable to wear. Flick was too orange for me and the texture was finicky. Haloscope is exactly as she described but so beautiful. Never purchased any of the eye products. Wowder disappears in the most satisfying way. Dry Touch Oil, too awkward to use but the texture and smell are beautiful. Exfoliating Bar is so so good but once you find Korean exfoliating mitts you can’t justify the purchase. Oil Wash smells odd but in a cool way. Would not repurpose. Body Hero Cream has never pilled for me and the slight pink and pearl quality is very flattering. You perfume really does smell different on each person and is just lovely.
What a great video! I think I remember in one of your videos you used to shop at Lush a lot?! ( I might be making that up) maybe this style of video for Lush?
I have never tried glossier skincare but to me it sounds like they’re trying to be cerave or la roche posay but charge a lot more money and have more childish packaging. La roche posay lipikar balm and body wash are my jam, they’re great for the body, the face, and if my scalp feels dry the wash works as a shampoo (I get a very dry, itchy sensitive scalp). La roche posay makes a great face wash. So does cerave. Cerave moisturizers are awesome, their bar soap rocks... They just sound so similar to these glossier products. If you feel like you want what the glossier products claim to offer at a lower price point just try some la roche posay. I also personally think their packaging looks nice in my bathroom.
This is a great video idea. I’d be interested in this format for other topics (you don’t have to keep it brand-specific, it can be goal-specific, like 15 serums in 15 minutes). When Glossier just launched, I was too broke, too covered in cystic acne, and too low in self-esteem for Glossier products and marketing. Now I am too mature and too informed for Glossier products and marketing 😂
Love the concept of this video! Funnily enough, I find the cloud paints don't last on me whatsoever. I apply them and one to two hours later, you wouldn't think I was wearing any kind of blush.
Good people of the internet! On the topic of brows, I have come with the best product I've ever used. It's a brow gel by a brand called Refy, it's definitely available in the UK, not sure about the US, but it is unbelievable!

I wish I would have had this video before buying a bunch of stuff to try from Glossier haha. I am kinda disappointed in most of the things I tried so far. Great video and love this concept! 🧡💛💚💜❤️💙
Effing coincidence. I was watching this clip, and received a text from glossier as doing so. Hehehe. Really like stretch & boy brow. I have ever-thinning eyebrows that are now going grey, and I like how my brows don’t feel crunchy. I use brown to darken the grey strands, and clear on the rest.

I wish I would have had this video before buying a bunch of stuff to try from Glossier haha. I am kinda disappointed in most of the things I tried so far. Great video and love this concept! 🧡💛💚💜❤️💙
THE ONLY GLOSSIER PRODUCT I LOVE WAS ULTRALIP
Effing coincidence. I was watching this clip, and received a text from glossier as doing so. Hehehe.
Really like stretch & boy brow. I have ever-thinning eyebrows that are now going grey, and I like how my brows don’t feel crunchy. I use brown to darken the grey strands, and clear on the rest.
Great intro. I mean it!
