We're developing tutorials to put out along with the release of the 3D models. Procreate's 3D interface is very similar usage to 2D with some cool new features that we'll cover.

Is there a way to then get the image from 3d back into 2d in order to stencil the actual design or is it just for concepts?

Yes, Procreate allows you to switch between 3D and a 2D texture map. Anything you draw on the 3D model will appear on the 2D map. You can turn on 'Reference' to view both at the same time.

Will these have 4k textures? I’ve found a way to get imported models to 4k but it was quite a pain in the ass. Would be really cool if there’s an easier way.

The skin textures of the models were tested to be the highest quality supported by Procreate. The models will also include a Skin Tone Color Palette for Procreate so artists can emulate clients' real skin.
