I remember as a kid back in '77 opening a 1st series pack. Don't remember which cards it had but it did have the Tusken Raider sticker just like the one in this video.
Bought a bunch of these about 25 years ago off eBay before the prices went crazy on them. A few from every series. Opened a couple but have the rest still intact.
We burn boxes of those packs outside our old store property because the star wars cards were the worst purchases at the time and destroyed our business.
Well E-dub, Looks like good old Topps being their Notorious selves on Centering. From the Day they started till the late 80s or early 90s it's never been easy to make a centered Set not counting the Corners! 😉🖖
@@pgl7950 not really… other than at that day and age, people were so new to this world, that maybe they wanted to make sure that these characters were named and talked about correctly… amongst the audience.
@@richarddesimone960 yep. I generally agree… I have those too. At the time though… I had never opened one, and was ultra thirsty to get my hands on some of those cards. I have a box though now… that will most likely never be opened 😬. You are right though
Having something sealed that can never be opened is lame as F ! Even if this guy lived to be thousand years old it'll still be worth only a few bucks. Better to have fun and enjoy life.
@@relicman you should really take a deep dive into PSA and all the shady stuff that has happened over there. And all the stuff they miss and let slip through, including a ton of fake autos, fake cards and resealed packs, missing cards and stolen cards. PSA is horrible
@@jamesm895 when he opened the pack there wasn't any type of resistance on opening. I get that the pack is old and the glue used to seal wax will evaporate but it's never that easy to open. Secondly the cards are all damaged. Maybe the front and back cards would be damaged because of the gum but look at all the cards, it doesn't look pack fresh at all. The middle cards should still be in good condition if it was never opened.
I remember opening those packs! Brings a smile to my face. Thanks!

That was a VERY nice pack. The May the Force card is tough centered.
The memories 😊
Ha! You know it!!
Nice quick opening

Great pack E dub, all 8 and 9s ?? let us know.
I wonder if anybody has sent in the bubble gum itself for grading.
This man is a giant
Thanks for cracking that pack. It’s a crime when people encase packs or comic books. Takes away all the joy and magic 😊
@@bamnguyen7903 haha! It was a rush for me for sure 😬. Thanks for watching
Any idea why the cards have phonetic spelling of R2-D2 and C-3PO?

i remember these cards back in the day.
These aren't the cards your looking for..
😂
You're
Miss the smell of bubble gum when opening those packs.
WTF ? So R2 D2 is actually Artoo-Detoo ?
How much money did you throw away opening this pack. Lol
I didn't realize R2D2 was really Artoo-Detoo.
@@23ofSeptember haha! 🤦
The sticker isnt supposed to be in the middle of the pack.😂
@@Castillohometv 🤦 cripes

Sadly these are TOPPS...O-Pee-Chee kick these to the curb!
Looks like a resealed pack
Yes it does
I’m new to this. What makes it look reopened?
PSA should be able to pick up on those things!
