Steve, you helped me many years ago after I bought a Project turntable. Thanks for your advice and very prompt service on getting me wired up through the 9000 and beolab 4000 speakers. It all worked beautifully. My brother has now bought my system, and he loves it.
Still using my 9000 since 2002 great bit of kit CDs sound great - Last 10 years added a Rega turntable via pre-amp to the AUX on the 9000 that sounds great too and used as a 2nd turntable around the house.
Just bought a Beosound 3200 to have a CD player again. After all these years of streaming, I really miss physical media. Actually thinking about what you'll listen to. It's an activity instead of just background music.
Steve. I have a Beosound 9000 and I run it through a”master link” if that’s right word(s) to my Beovision 7 55. Or I did. Until it crashed and I’m told my 7 is unfixable. So I have the opportunity of purchasing either a Beovision 11 55 inch or an Eclipse 65 inch. With your infinite wisdom which would you go for? The speakers I have are Beolab 8000s and Beolab Ones. Plus a subwoofer. There’s my quandary. I need someone to advise me on what to do. As far as I’m aware the Beovision 11 55 is a Mark 1 and like wise the Eclipse is a mark 1. Another thing I have a Beocentre 2 Master Unit. I’ve lost the cables. I know stupid. I’ve been told I’ve had it as B&O don’t make cables for it! Is this right is it now just a piece of desk furniture and nothing more? Finally I gave the old Beosystem AV 9000 TV away to my son. He left it at a former partners! Reason I mention it is because I still have the separate CD (using as desk furniture) I was told that piece of kit can only be linked to the TV part of the 9000 system. Is that right or do you do a cable for it so I can link it to either the 11 or eclipse depending on which I go for. Oops final point. Sorry to go on I also have two beocenter 9000s and again I cannot find the cables. Recently moved. So they may turn up. Probably not. Do you do cables for them to link to Beovisions? Phew finished. Would really appreciate any advice you could give. Thanks.
Hi, sorry but this is too much to cover in RUclips comments! If you are in UK or Europe, please drop me an email at soundsheavenly.com and I can look into this further for you.
Just curious, do you need this adapter if don't specifically have B&O speakers attached? Or, if you don't have any speakers attached? If B&O, what's different with them compared to a regular loudspeaker? [Not looking to clone your device, but what's in it that allows it to simulate B&O speakers?] Your website says, "When you use Beosound 9000 or Beosystem 9000c without speakers connected (ie. via a TV or amplifier)..." That's different from the video where you say it's looking for B&O speakers. Is there a good reason why they would have disabled the remote if no (or no B&O) speakers were attached?
Hi, whenever you don't have B&O Beolab speakers connected via Powerlink cables, then this adapter is needed, that includes using non-B&O speakers, using newer B&O smart speakers (eg. Beosound Balance) and if there are no speakers connected. I don't know why B&O chose to disable remote control on the 9000 if no Beolab speakers are detected, but my role is to fix issues like this to help keep these amazing B&O products alive!

Glad your old system is still in use, that is great to hear!
Wouawww ! I've recognised (0:29) Paul ANDRIES from Oostduinkerke (Belgium) :-)
Yes, I had the honour of being able to visit Paul’s amazing B&O museum recently, there is a full video of this on my channel!

That sounds like a great setup - I wish I hadn't sold my 9000!
I still use my complete Beosystem 8000 nearly every day. I saved it from being scrapped and restored it, piece by piece.
That is great to hear, the 8000 is an amazing system!

I know exactly what you mean! Choosing a CD or record is part of the music experience
Amazing 👍
Glad you liked it!
