@ybab321 Methods of fixing it: Create alternate even chains to supplement the gameplay and story in case someone gets something early, create sprites for certain items without others (like Plasma without Wide), etc.
@ybab321 How long until you perfect the Hack? I'm planning on making Metroid Fusion 1.5 have better gameplay and physics and stuff like that so that you can perform all of that awesome stuff without TAS.
Good thing my comment didn't save back then, when I hadn't realized this is not Fusion's default behavior. For years I've been convinced that if you do things out of order, it will just set the state in a dumb way.
Can you showcase other ways this hack could come in handy? Like fighting bosses at the earliest possible points in the game and getting Power Bombs early?
well i think as far as sprite coding goes the only function your beam needs to damage it is the ability to pass through the enemy. and yes a charge. so i think all you would need to damage it would be charge and plasma.
obviously you cant sequence break those beams like that but i've seen some hacks of odd stuff like wide beam without the charge beam. im pretty sure that the computer even says at some point that you need the plasma beam to fight the sa-x.
no, the stalker enemy SA-X has different programming than the boss SA-X, it uses the same assets but it's not the same entity as far as the game is concerned.
hmmm, so practically the event resets, and because you did so, the game didn´t registered that you actually defeated the plant (I forgot it´s name) Even though It sounds like an awesome hack, this makes it a little hard to do
That's some *crunchy* audio you've got there
Crunchy roll
3:40
It's pretty crunchy on emulators and flash carts, I've always wondered why
Ahhh, TAS, I love TAS when you can just do just about anything
How much Crunch can You get into the B.S.L station?
-Yes.
The crackling in the background! RIP earbud users!
Dear God, the power bomb explosion in this game was ear rape, especially with headphones. O_o
Nope it’s the tas making it like that
I love how the vegetation just maniacally reappears!
There's some Madd Skillz at @05:25. The way you blasted these dry bushes. So Gangsta, bro !!!
It's tas, tool assisted...
@@rhugo1426 YO BRO IDK WHY ARE WE WATCHING THIS RIGHT NOW
@@jameslimuco8311 maybe because we played this game before? I played :V
haha seems like space jump just sort of got in the way for you
When skills reach max.
Skills?
This is obviously a TAS.
@animeloverxX93 It's a joke bud.
Creating a TAS requires mad skills.
@@sh0bez it's stupidity, bud.
Never thought about it, but it makes sense that they would tie the maps stages to the items since you're supposed to get them in order...
For starters, you have to go to the Plasma beam boss room the right way. Wrong way always has the boss not there.

Why didn’t you try hitting the SA-X with the Plasma beam? That would’ve been interesting!
@@epic317 I always wondered about shinespark.

Very Nice, i'm sure this is TAS, am i correct?
Sean Tyler yes
Getting there. Amazing work so far.
Bruh why u didn’t use full charge plasma on Sa X ? I wanted to know what happen
3:40 this is where the fun begins.
Link?
@ybab321 It would still be awesome if you completed it. It would make every Metroid Fusion Speed Run faster.
Is it me or is the audio messed up a little??
@ybab321 If only you made bosses respawn if you beat them early just like in the game without the Event++ Hack. That would make alot of things easier.
i want to know what happens if you attack the sa-x with plasma.
no you need plasma.

ya can dmg it but it doesnt continue the battle i tried it with a debug menu
thank you, rational internet user.
Is the back complete?
The plasma Beam should be able to damage the SA-X
no, the stalker enemy SA-X has different programming than the boss SA-X, it uses the same assets but it's not the same entity as far as the game is concerned.
6:00 minutes of free Massive earrape
Rest in peace hack
I don't get what's the hack here ???
You sequence broke Metroid Fusion.
How exactly
hmmm, so practically the event resets, and because you did so, the game didn´t registered that you actually defeated the plant (I forgot it´s name)
Even though It sounds like an awesome hack, this makes it a little hard to do
