The opening credits shot, of course, is incredible. The mansion scene when the goons arrive was also beautiful in its own way. And then the quiet, shot when Ani is in the mansion later in the movie, all by herself, and she's silently looking out the window onto the water and it's snowing.
Anora is Sean's best shot film so far. He has matured as a filmmaker. Drew's work is notable too. There are many beautiful shots and many interesting camera moves. It does seem like they collaborate well together. Great film too.
There’s so much of what he said that highlighted my own qualms and delights as a cinematographer. The way Drew reveals more and more of their choices, discussions, and reality of shooting Anora how they did is fucking stunning. This was exactly what I needed to watch. Feel kinda blessed rn. This movie is fantastic and I really love all about it, including the cinematography. Ending scene in the film in the car is just amazing, I really love how Mikey and Yura are looking strait to the camera, so we are put in their shoos.
Atlas Guys, Would be helpful to put the questions you are asking him in the video ... the run on answers are a bit bizarre. Put them as text if you don't want the interviewers audio in there.
What was your favorite shot in Anora?

Seems wonderfully shot though with a boring story.
