Happy new year and thank you for providing me the new sentences even today. I eager to do my best to deal with my learning. A few days ago, I had an experience to tell a couple of Japanese learners "Japanese Verb Te-form." All of them told me that it was like hard for them and necessary to stuck with learning Te-form for a while. Yes, it is, it's not exaggerate to say Te-form is the king of Japanese grammar. In my class, at first, an example sentence "Chotto matte kudasai" came out. After telling them, I advised them to recite the example sentence at least 10 times. It is a verbal practice. We, native Japanese speaker use this phrase easily but it was tough for Japanese primary levels definitely. So, I'm nervous no matter when I tell them Te-form. This's because what they grab the nuance of it deeply or not is the key whether they can keep on learning Japanese. Te-form occurs in every section of the grammar. I think it is the core of Japanese grammar. There're also three group verbs though. See you tomorrow. "Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai itashi-masu."

Happy New Year! Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai itashi-masu!
It’s wonderful to hear about your experience teaching Japanese learners. The Te-form truly is central to mastering Japanese grammar, and your approach of emphasizing verbal practice is very effective.
I am also not good in changing te-form (kii-te, ki-te, kite all so similar!). It’s not an easy concept for beginners, but your thoughtful guidance will surely make a difference.

明けましておめでとうございます!Thank you for watching. At my workplace, there is someone who became able to speak Japanese just a little over a month after coming to Japan. It seems that he got a girlfriend in Japan and studied hard every day. Everyone was amazed at how quickly he improved. Six months after coming to Japan, he is reading an N3 textbook.
