- Reviewing my brand new Sako A7 Roughteck and its useless, unreliable magazine. Definitely expected more of a $1600 gun.
Sako needs to recall these obviously as it is a engineering issue.
Also, a big %#*$ You to basspro for telling me to pound sand when I went back to tell them about. it.
UPDATE* After talking with local shop guys it looks like the magazine is to blame. Perhaps unbalanced spring load. $145 for a replacement. Will update on warranty and what happens.
UPDATE *** After sending it back for repair (paid return shipping from Stoeger) and waiting a few months, I received it back from Stoegers after a new mag and a trip to the Gun smith it is "like new" or how it should have come. Cycles flawlessly and a dream to shoot. Quality control needs to be better from factory obviously but I'm happy now.
