If it'll be based on the mt07, it'll be cheaper compared to an inline 4 screamer. of course a 2cylinder crossplane with riding modes and a race tuning would be better than the conventional parallel twin. it'll cost more than the mt07 but definitely won't break banks since it'll be a 2 cylinder bike. however, I do wish they make it a flatplane 3cyl much like the mt09.
I’d honestly hate to se a parallel twin full fairing bike replace one of the bed if not arguably the best super sport that seems like a really crappy replacement for a really nice bike
I think they are trying to compete with aprillia RS660. Which is also twin with 270° crank. This is actually good since R6 is so expensive and it gives us more options. Besides MT07 engine's produces good sound aside any normal parallel twins
I am pretty sure its because the other bikes provide good lower end torque and powerband. So they want to replace the supersport with another one that would be used as a daily driver and still be more sporty than other competitors. The r6 is still available I think but only for track purposes. I hope they don't go for more upright sitting position like kawasaki zx6r or aprillia rs660. I still want it to be aggressive riding position.
@@rhrishikeshsane5450 I get why people think it’s kinda neat but who buys a sport bike to daily drive it or wants a sport bike that’s more daily driveable I personally bought my r6 because it’s aggressive it’s not a friendly powerband but that’s what makes a full fairing bike a full fairing r series bike
YZF-R9 will be nice. CP3 power in a sportsbike.. I want one.. But I don't care about the R7 if it's only an MT-07 with a fairing.
Nope.. if R9 comes out, they will put Mt09 engine on it.. inline 3 flatplane
@@noelevan3489 Sure.. But don't you think the MT09 (CP3) engine is nice? Say if they give it a little tune, so it gets 130-150 HP?
MT09 is CP3.
@@Thomas-us4wq I don't think that yamaha will produce cp3 engine.
@@KimmyR3 nope, mt09 is inline3 flatplane

I hope it will be a screamer!
di mangyayare yan
Can’t be a screamer with a 2 cylinder engine.
A screamer would be a surprise. :)
Malaki ang chance na gagawin ni Yamaha diyan ay R3 and MT03 pero in reverse. Pero sana ibahin manlang ung chassis or brakes.
cant wait how can i reserve 1?
Madami na ko nalalaman sa bigbike tnx idol bigbike nalang kulang hehe👍
thanks paps! ako nga 10 years bago makabili haha
idol pakitutukan at excited ako hahaha nag subscribe na din ako sa sayo hahaha thanks! Baka may announcement na rin for R15 V4 ?
I hope it is R4 or R450 and remove R3... R250/R450/R650/R850/R1 or R25/R4/R6/R8/R1 ..... it’s better than R25/R3/R6/R7/R1
I still choose R6 than the new R7 = MT-07 with fairings 😁
Can it be better than the MT10
Sana merong r4 para expressway legal
