I enjoyed getting to know her!! ❤ I’ve been wanting to go a Liberty game. Would love to see more segments like this with more WNBA ladies. I like to know the stories behind the people 😊
@@Margo-vh5yp yeah definitely have to make it over to the Barclays, it’s nothing like it, and Big Ellie is a vibe in itself. The crowd is really into it. Seats are tight, but hey you’ll have a good time.
Man I enjoyed this video, makes me like her even more . She’s a great addition to the Liberty and an awesome 2-way player, her defense along with her ability to score is definitely a factor in the Liberty chances of winning. #LFK 🗽🗽🗽
This interview further cements why she is known as Queen B! Betnijah is an amazing women and we are so lucky to be living in her era. Brava on the day cares goal too - I worked in day care centers when I was in college and it was personally life changing. Affordable, good day care is such a necessity for so many folks. Brava B!
THis was enjoyable!! Betnijah you are a gem! One of the hardest working players of the WNBA! Didnt know your Mom played at Cheyney State how historic!. Keep on doing your thing ! BTW you should have been on the All Star team 2024. Continued Blessings to you and I appreciate your hard work Queen B! LETS GO NY LIBERTY
Big fan of Betnijah Laney Hamilton's game and I also have been following her career since she was at Rutgers. I'm rooting for her and Liberty to win the title this year; but I don't think the Liberty will ever put her in the position that she deserves to be in and that's the number one or even the number two option. Laney-Hamilton is one of the most complete players on both the offensive end (Face Up Game, Post Up Game, Moving without the Ball, Creative Passer and Dribbler,Great Shooter off the Pull Up or Spot Up,Breakdown Player off the Dribble Finishing at the Rack with Either Hand,Phenomenal in Ball Screen Offense as the Decision Maker or the Screener) and complete on the defensive end (On and Off Ball as well as in the Post) If the Liberty win this year or even if they don't win, I think the ball is in her court to decide her future. My personal view point is I believe that an organization like the Washington Mystics would give her that opportunity and a reconnect to Coach Shell P.; plus Washington already has young talent with athleticism and experience that know how to win; plus I think they have 3 first round picks. The Mystics could use one of those picks in a trade if they needed to. The Mystics organization would value Betnijah skillet and allow her to use them more in my opinion; plus put the basketball in her hands in the critical points of the games. Plus I like the way Coach Eric Thibeau inspires his players; the Mystics do more with less. Lastly she wouldn't be too far from home and her fan base that's been following her from the start.
@@TransGuyReacts You didn't answer my question. Ad Hominem of course. It is 100% cultural appropriation. What if Chinese people started naming their kids Nigeria or Africa?
@@ooo_Kim_Chi_oooWhat would be wrong about that? First off these country and content names aren't even the original names by the native people but by colonizers. C. Vivian Stringer is THE G Coach!! Amazing that mom and daughter BOTH played for her!
Absolutely beautiful smiles...seem like peaceful women.
Great interview Naj. I loved it.
Betnijah & LaChina
Her Mom was a great college player too ❤
This woman is fine, straight, and got game. The WNBA need to promote her more.
What does her being straight have to do with anything? Heterosexual cisgender men like you are so weird. Feel free to reply, I won't read it. 👋
Why does her being straight matter?
Thank you Coach Stringer for this young lady ❤
I love her
Great interview.
Babayyyyyy, Betnijah SWOOPED them hips around.
14:19 time stamping this... the origin of her name, is fascinating. It reminds me of how Jalen Rose was given his name.

How is it wrong that white people have dreads yet black people name their kids LaChina and Asia? How is that not cultural appropriation?
