- Listeria System 18R (ref. 71640) is a 18-well panel containing dried biochemical substrata for the identification of Listeria species isolated from cultures in selective or non selective agar media.
The panel is inoculated with a suspension of Listeria spp. and incubated at 36 ± 1 °C for 18-24 hours.
The species is identified through a numerical codification obtained by the color change of the biochemical tests in the reaction wells.
Listeria System 18R allows for the identification of Listeria spp. in 18-24 hours:
Listeria monocytogenes
Listeria innocua
Listeria grayi subsp. grayi
Listeria grayi subsp. murrayi
Listeria seeligeri
Listeria welshimeri
Listeria ivanovii
Jonesia denitrificans
why he put sensitivity disc on some reaction vessel ???
a Aminoacil-β-naftilamide disc is added to the well no.9, a Xylose disc is added to the well no.15. They are not sensitivity discs. Learn more at www.liofilchem.net/login/pd/pi/71640_PI.pdf

"Pick up 2-3 colonies well isolated and equal morphologically from selective or non selective agar culture media for Listeria spp. isolation." (which roughly equals 0.5 McFarland)
