Thank you! If it's cross stitch then you measure the distance by laying the thread along the perimeter that needs to be stitched and multiply that by 8. If it's saddle stitch then the multiplier is 4. For example if the perimeter is 20 cm then you'll need 80 cm of thread for saddle stitching and 160 cm for cross stitching. It's a rought estimate but you'll eventually learn to approximate it more accurately.

@@EirewolfCreations We us both methods. Saddle stitching is when the leather pieces overlap and cross stitching is when they're sewn edge to edge
