Madonna's Evita is Very Powerful. I loved this rendition of the story. I have subsequently seen many documentaries on Evita herself and was moved by them as well. I'm enjoying watching behind the scenes and I'm seeing how much hard work goes into making a movie. Thank you for letting us into the studio!!!
Having read Madonna's Evita Diaries, it was her meetings with the President that got them the Casa Rosada. And then Alan Parker didn't want it because they had built an exact replica in England. They did use the Casa Rosada though. Madonna went through hell on that film. All power to her. Gruelling heat, lack of sleep, constant noise, soot, dust on top of being pregnant. The film wrapped in May, Lourdes was born in October.
That's how you carry chickens in latinoamerica we use to do it that way they don't get hurt you just can keep them like hat for too long tough they will get mad like the one here that was flapping all ready ;)
In 1989 Andrew Lloyd Webber should have teamed up with Steven Spielberg and Jim Henson to make a movie version of Starlight Express. In fact that should be 8 years earlier before the movie version of Evita.

As an ardent fan since 1983, it's so great to look at footage like this. It's hard to believe what this woman has accompished and yet she has.
