honestly, you normally only bring vintage items, and the store seems like they focus more on hype and whatnot. So, do they buy the hyped items or legit nothing?

Round 2 is the worse place to resell you’re better off with stock x or goat
They give you fair prices on some stuff but for the most part you’re never gonna see anywhere close to the full amount it’s worth because their business operates on being the middle man... if they did the volume anywhere close to StockX they would obviously offer you more money but that’s impossible because they’re limited to a brick and mortar location and the ppl who have access to it as oppose to an online site that can reach anyone at anytime...
I think it depends on what you sell. because with stockX its like the actually stock market. price dips one day skyrockets a week later and then dips next week for like 3months straight lol. I also like to negotiate in person its been positive for me in the long run.
Stock X and Goat are the reason everything is over-priced, roundtwo actually gives out good deals

Do you have any tips about reselling when you don't have support from family and friends. My mom thinks it's a waste of time and I'm throwing money away.
Don’t worry about support. Just do it and prove everyone wrong

Just cop a few off white collabs, hyped 1s, supreme and the money will come rolling in. At that point you won’t even need their support.

Selling DS stuff to round two is a joke. When a hyped shoe comes out, so many people will go there to make a quick $100 profit instead of going online and waiting a week on stockx to see for a $200 profit. So it makes sense why they lowball people.
For used items, I find it 50/50. They will either lowball you or give you a really fair price. SO I would say if you have a lot of items, it is worth going in there and seeing what they will buy at a fair price.
For vintage, I find the prices tend to be good considering how hard it is to sell vintage tbh. Most people on grailed and ebay just lowball and it is hard to find a buyer, while they have the demand at their store so they are always buying.
