- In this video you will see, in a vineyard, the Allettatore - Crimper F.lli Drigo roller in a mixture of 9 essences, mainly composed of legumes, suitable for low nitrogen soils.
Composition:
Legumes: Vetch, Protein pea, Forage pea, Field bean, Alexandrian clover, Squarroso clover.
Cereals: Rye, Light red oats and Triticale.

Qualche precisazione su cos'è il Sovescio: "Con il termine sovescio intendiamo una pratica agricola di alto valore ecologico, che consiste nel coltivare delle essenze destinate ad essere trinciate ed interrate/abbattute quando si trovano al loro massimo rigoglio, per svolgere la funzione di “concimazione verde”. Tutta la biomassa interrata nei primi strati di suolo viene gradualmente decomposta e mineralizzata dai microrganismi terricoli, che in questo modo ricevono abbondante nutrimento e si moltiplicano.
Il sovescio è sicuramente un eccellente apporto di sostanza organica al terreno, soprattutto quando non è possibile avere letame e quando il compost non è sufficiente per ammendare tutta la superficie disponibile. Il sovescio risulta utilissimo, ad esempio, quando avviamo un orto o un altro tipo di coltivazione, su un terreno precedentemente molto sfruttato ed impoverito, di cui dobbiamo ripristinare la fertilità." Pratica molto diffusa quando parliamo di agricoltura biologica.

Interrarla, crea ossidazione, perdita di umidita' e di sostanza organica creando anche una zona di compattazzione al di sotto del livello di aratura/fresatura. Avete mai pensato di fare come in america dove usano queste covercrops, ma lasciandole sul terreno per poi riseminare con una seminatrice su sodo? In questo modo si aumenta l'infiltrazione di acqua, si ferma l'erosione, si massimizza la fertilizzazione.
Tutto giusto tutto buono quello che dici ma il sovescio non è tanto quello che tu vai a trinciare e a ad apportare sostanze al terreno ma la funzione del sovescio sta nel assorbire e tirare fuori tutte le malattie del terreno poi ogni lavoro merita rispetto se fai agricoltura sinergica con pacciamatura ci può anche stare la cosa importante e la miscela del sovescio rafalo etc etc etc
@@francescotroise5058 buongiorno. Quale sarebbe la miscela giusta da fare a livello di sementi? Io ho un terreno con molta armillaria, crede che facendo il sovescio sia una buona cosa ? Inoltre non ho ben capito se sia meglio tri nciarlo oppure interrarlo. Grazie per una sta eventuale risposta.

Sorry this might be a stupid question but why they doing this what is the benefits, great video.😊
In practice it crushes the crop and "kills" it (mechanical weeding), so once dry it will be easier to do the other processes!
It also prevents soil drying and allows a gradual release of nutrients over time, also improving the organic intake with long fibers!!

I'm a small viticulturist and i really like the no-till winter cover crop approach.I'm trying not to use or at least reduce my glyphosate usage. I'm just not sure about the correct cover crop mix. I tried harry vetch and was really happy with the results because it doesn't propagate on its own. I would really like to add grasses/cereals and some kind a radish or other plant with big taproots to the mix. But i don't want them to propagate on their own or at least be easy to kill(if it turns out i don't like them).
I tried Alfalfa but didn't like it because it keeps growing in the summer months and takes up to much water. Turn out alfalfa is perennial and with its taproots hard to remove...
Getting the right seed seems like a daunting task for a small farmer.
Also. Because i don't use glyphosate the cover crop grows into the vines. I usually pull them out of the vines around the time the vines blossom and roll them. That works well for me but that's obviously not scalable unless labor is free. Could a machine do that?
Esistono macchine che buttano l'erba macinata sotto le viti, per creare una pacciamatura.
Funzionano se nel filare c'è tanta erba, e in impianti perfetti,come quello del filmato

In realtà previene anche l'esicatura del terreno e permette un rilascio di nutrienti graduale nel tempo, migliorando anche l'apporto organico con fibre lunghe.
