*I'm quite curious to see how long you'll survive.. **COME !!! =)* Filled with nostalgia like every other lofi remix. This fight is definitely my favorite in season one. There is so much movements. The fight feels balanced despite chara being cleary way stronger with his many abilities. And most importantly it gives undertale's vibes.. just like every fight in season one actually. What makes season one unique is that it maintains the familiar undertale's vibes. The osts. The context. The fights. While season two straight up feels like something entirely else. A shonen anime. Both are good and unique in their way.
In an ironic twist of fate, It really seens like Chara in Season one is Far and beyond stronger than Season 2 Chara. The sheer number of abilities and overwhelming combat experience of Season 1 chara honestly makes Season 2 chara pretty obsolete in comparison. I genuinely think if season 1 Chara was in season 2 the fights against Chara would be overwhelmingly one sided. Of course from a narrative point it does make a ton of sense why Chara wasn't anywhere even half as strong. With Chara taking the place of Frisk, the glitches, and other soul colors are no longer really an option for him. Im still gonna lay claim to the fact i called Chara coming back after like Episode 3 of season 2 haha (this is a joke obv)
Season 2 Chara is still decently powerful believe it or not. On season 1 Chara’s special hell deal only magical damage to the opponent but in season 2 Chara’s special felt a ton of damage to the environment. Also season 1 Chara rely on the knife for any damage out put at all but season 2 Chara can create a new knife at will and also having Frisk’s sword for extra combat capabilities. Another point is that season 1 Chara rely 100% on hate to regenerate whole season 2 Chara can regenerate without Hate. So I would say that they even out

But by compared to season 1 it's pretty night and day which version was stronger. Season 1 chara had enough power to straight up fight Gaster, Sans, and Omega flowey, and single handedly straight up mopped the floor with them, the only reason Chara even had to use hate to refuse death was purely due to Sans's unexpected Special attack. It's also not really fair to compare the environmental damage of season 2 to the damage in season 1 because of the sheer difference in art style, The way that season 1 was animated really doesn't give any perspective on the environmental damage that season 1 chara's special hell could cause because it wasn't a very detail oriented animation style like we know today. So really i dont see those as comparable unless we got an animation remaster of season 1
Its probably because of her ability to absorb different traits and the amount of hate they had. Their abilities were also very destructive but rely more on magic then fighting arsenal. Thats where season 2 differs because Chara mostly attacked melee then using magic, making their attacking arsenal more dangerous than their season 1 part. Easy way to say is that: S1 more magic S2 more combat.

The only exception is in Asriel fight, in which the human being able to refuse to die through determination is something pretty reasonable as it only happens here, in the final and most important battle.
