I am struggling with depression and things I have done and how I treated my 3 ex girlfriends. Why is it that God is blamed for evil? Why isn’t the devil ever blamed? God loves us and by giving us free will, gives us a choice to love Him. God also gives us all a conscious to know the difference between good and evil. It’s OUR choices that define our destiny. God desires a relationship with us, just like we do with our loved ones.
We were created to bring glory to Him and to abide forever with him, not to serve our own selfish desires and worldly lust. It’s easy to listen to what the world wants you to believe about God. I suggest you stop listening to the world and seek Him directly through prayer and His word. Read Proverbs, and the 4 gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I’m sorry you are suffering, but we all do. But God can restore peace and fulfillment, and happiness. He’s not some sick god that is entertained by our suffering. You are not alone.
