Fun fact: The awkward little pause after you kill Mergo's Wet Nurse before the "Nightmare Slain" appears has a lore reason: The Nightmare isn't the lovecraftian blade angel monster. The actual Nightmare is a wee little baby (Mergo) that also happens to be a juvenile Great One and the awkward little pause is caused by the fact that the baby takes a few seconds to die in its knocked-over stroller after you kill the nurse.
So he murdered a baby and the most uncomfortable part was it was awkward

i first gave this game a shot halfway through 2021 and i hated it and uninstalled it. came back to it about a month and a half ago and i have since beaten the game almost 7 times. i genuinely cannot put it down.

Just gotta get over the learning curve and it's a game you can drop a hundred hours into before you realize you've played a hundred hours.
im at the first half of your experience. I made my character, fought those two werewolf things at the beginning (and lost). and then I was thrust into the first open area (the town place) and got completely destroyed. I didn't know how to fight, didn't know how to parry, the combat was so mind-blowingly punishing. The worst part was, IT WASNT EVEN A BOSS THAT GOT ME TO DELETE THE GAME, IT WAS THE REGULER TOWNS-PEOPLES, THEY KEPT KILLING ME OVER AND OVER and eventually I decided "this type of masochistic mental torture just isn't for me, I'll just go play god of war instead" and now I watched a playthrough of elden ring and it looks amazing. Decided to check out the other soulsborne game and found out zanny played this and it looks really, really good. should I play this or not?

To explain the ending you got, The Moon Presence is obviously a great one, and in defeating it you, a hunter, became a great one. What makes it special though is that you would be the first hunter to become a great one, and also The Moon Presence created The Hunter’s Dream. By killing it, you stopped the cycle of the dream, and now the world is in your hands.

Ludwig took me 63 tries while Orphan only took me 22.

The Chikage is by far my favourite weapon in the game, especially when you're running a Bloodtinge build with decent gems from the dungeons. Throw in an Evelyn and the build gets way OP and fun. Sekiro is indeed the hardest From Soft game I have ever played. Hopefully you will come back for The Old Hunters DLC, it is a brilliant addition to an already amazing game.

Prolly wasn't built for it. Without bloodtinge, blood builds aren't that strong.

Also 2 tips for Logarius if ur struggling:
1. When he's changing into 2nd phase,go behind him,hit him with fully charged heavy and do visceral
What it does is it removes his hyper armor from 2nd and 3rd phase so he's much more easier to stagger and parry
2.When he summons that huge cloud raining swords in 2nd and 3rd phase,he thrusts sword into the ground
That sword can be destroyed to stop thay attack and has 1hp so you can just shoot it with pistol to break it
And don't roll,dodging is better in every way
Your souls content is really entertaining, don't stop the one thing that got me (and others) here.

Do the DLC, I skipped over it when I played the game too but I came back and I promise, it's great and something you don't want to skip. Especially the weapons, if you like the chikage I bet you'd love the Rakuyo, it's honestly the most fun weapon in the game. The weapons and bosses in the dlc are some of the greatest fromsoft have made imo.

I love this game it just makes you feel like a bad ass when you kill a boss but only after you master the game does that feeling truly kick in.pvp in this game is amazing (when it works) even the 3 v 1s feel fair because of how the combat system works and the speed of the combat helps this a lot.
This game changed how I play all other games,perfect example of this is how I'm going out of my way to turn elden rings combat into bloodbornes.
You ARE breezing through this game. I got this on day one and it was not an easy platinum. I don’t remember Rom the Vacuous Spider being that easy. Or maybe i just suck., Watchdog of the old lords took me 2-3 days to beat.
If you haven't played the Bloodborne DLC, do it. It's an essential part of the Bloodborne experience, with some of the best bosses fromsoftware has ever made (my personal favourite boss of all time, Ludwig, has the best boss music I've heard in any game too), and a few new very cool weapons.

Souls games are all about community, helping each other out and encourage other players to overcome every obstacle. The games are designed with that in mind. I'm so happy that Elden Ring has become so popular. It has brought to the mainstream these beautifully crafted games and stories. And it brought more people into this awesome community.
