When a guy puts in the additional effort to treat a girl nice, basically just slightly nicer than how he treats his other friends, then it's a sign already. If he nice person, he will be nice on the same level to everyone. A real friend will never be 随传随到, or constantly trying to find ways to entertain others.
Actually what's wrong with romantic relationship that comes out from platonic friendships? Isn't it better than guys start to get to know you as a friend before moving on to the next stage? When the girls have such a strong reaction when the question that comes up "using friendship as an excuse" was so strong, I wonder what's the purpose of the question and whether the girls ever realise that for a strong relationship, it starts with having a strong friendship first? Maybe that's why always kena cheated on cos no friendship as base.
Whether only platonic or potential romantic relationships, both parties must be transparent and consent at all times. If at any point one person wants to change the earlier agreement, then need to be transparent also. Usually it goes wrong when one person hides his/her feelings till the late stage, then only confess that all these while he/she has feelings, that is where there is dishonesty involved.
@@CW91 I believe that's where the problem lies? I mean as you get to know the person and get attracted, you won't immediately tell the person I'm interested in you more than a friend no?
@@awkwardsmile If you keep your feelings to yourself, then the other person is not involved in your feelings. So make sure that you don't surprise the other person with something that you kept inside for a long time. It means that when you finally muster up the courage to tell the feelings after such long time, then be prepared for rejection without any retaliation or compensation on your part.
This happened to me many years ago, when I genuinely liked someone and because we weren't friends first, I figured it's a good idea to start the relationship from being friends. And when she found out that eventually I liked her, she stopped talking to me. That was the day I realized men and women are actually the same. If you like someone from the get-go it doesn't matter what they do to you, you will find it attractive. But if you don't like that person, no matter how nice you are to them, they just feel disgusted with you. Quite sad but honest truth. But don't get me wrong - there are some relationships that do start from friendships and I think those are one of the most beautiful relationships. But doesn't work out for some or most people So I changed my strategy that when if I like someone, I will do my best to make it clear ASAP. If she ain't feeling it, walk away and NEVER look back
That's why, I tell my ex too. I was once a friend and all I could think of is how I can get you in bed. Guys know what guys are thinking and most of the time we are correct
I'm single but I think anything beyond a((normal)dinner, no candlelight no special day) is over the line. Things like movies happen in a dark and you never know what will happen. Time spent together is also a factor. Too much time spent with a person that is not your SO is definitely going to cause problems, especially if at your expense
