I prefer to use lard or shortening....EVOO has a low smoke point and will burn on you. I do love your videos tho and watch them regularly!! Thankyou
I was thinking the same thing. I always use a high smoke point and neutral flavor oil. Usually I go for peanut oil. Otherwise she definitely does great work.
Yes, you shouldn't use EVOO... Is smoke point is too low and the seasoning will chip

You should use something with a high smoke point like avocado oil. Olive oil is also an oil that go rancid which is another reason you shouldn’t season with it.
