Yes, you could get the Brougham option on this year Ranchero on all models, 500, Squire and GT - was about $189 on the 500. That gauge package was pretty expensive when new as well.
No they weren't if used for the intended purpose of changing a tire on level ground. I don't recall anyone calling them dangerous in the 60s. They're terribly unforgiving to stupidity.
@ , they are dangerous. They were poorly designed and would collapse very easily if the vehicle wasn’t perfectly positioned. And if the vehicle was accidentally moved or weight shifted they would surely collapse!
@@sachemrock not true; owners who failed to chock wheels were the ones who had issues. Your comment is completely out of context. The "vehicle won't accidently move or shift" if directions are properly followed. I own a '79 Ford with that jack. It has never been an issue.
So true, love or hate. Unfortunately, these late model Ranchero's are not in my favorites list. That said, this one is in great shape and I'm going to bet is one of the best RIDING [ie comfortable] Rancheros you can lay hands on. As with all your cars, the "Price is Right" and I suspect this one will go rather quickly. Nice find.
It's missing the crankcase breather tube that goes in the grommet at the rear of the right valve cover and connects to the breather filter in the air cleaner. That 351M means means a 429 or460 will bolt right in. Personally I'd go back to some original magnum 500 wheels. Nice car
Dip your Chorizo in ranch? Hey maybe. To me, this is actually more lovable than an El Camino. Look at those taillights. Pretty. Gas -hawgg, but who cares?
I'm concerned why this car has aftermarket wheels, and why the underhood appearance is far inconsistent with a California car driven only 48K miles. Paint chipped that bad on the driver's door mirror housing indicates a repaint at some point in this car's history. I'm not calling this seller dishonest, but I would beware before I make an offer to buy this vehicle at anywhere near that $11000.
Im an El Camino guy but that Rachero is beautiful and i woulld love to own it. Right car wrong time.
What a fantastic time capsule - even the radio was playing music from the '70s!
A beauty with a reasonable price.

I had one Silver and Black, Miss It 😊
Very nice Ranchero.
Those bumper jacks were so dangerous! Thank god those are history

Very nice example 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Beautiful!!!❤️😎👍👍👍
Nice 😊
It reminds me of an LTD II
That’s because the nose is from an LTD II after that car replaced the Torino in 1977.
@@fastEdCanuckExactly that front clip is all LTD II
That is a great price for a unicorn Ranchero

How much weight could that car hold

What a junk but I'd drive it!
