I grew up watching " The Comedians" and they were for them days, but Micky has put a new angle on comedy that the old comedians would never get , he is brilliant at " His " comedy

How True This is ...The Dumbing Down Of Society.
I don't think the society is being dumbed down. Before social media we only know maybe a houndred people or so. We know a few good people, a few dickheads. It was all right. Now we 'know' about 500 million. The number of dickheads in our lifes just sky rocketed. That upsets us. The same percentage, but now it's out of 500 million. If you upset, you want to get involved. If you involved, you are watching. If you are watching, you are watching more advert. And the media has to ride that wave to generate views what generates advert revenue.
I think now we just realising, those few dickheads in our lives are actually adding up to millions of dickheads worldwide. We are not victims of stupidity. We are victims of a well oiled and ruthless money making industry, the media.
And the scariest thing is, kids grow up thinking it's ok to be thick, "it's ok I'll earn a living saying stupid things on tele"

Stupid people are easier to control, as the last year has shown us.
I once heard someone say that they thought the Eiffel Tower was in London. I'm not joking about this, I was dumbfounded.

Most of the tickets were sent out free, exchange students, day care centres, homeless shelters, AA Meetings, Bail hostels, Hospices, that kind of thing. Its because they're filming his special, and they don't want empty seats, and Mickey gets anxiety attacks if there's hecklers. I'm not saying he's not talented or anything, because he quite clearly is. But he's no Jimmy Davidson.

But it's a valid social comment. How many people compare prices while shopping in a supermarket, or realise that many items are the same except for the lable? Why are people happy to pay twice as much for fresh produce just because it's in a plastic punnet when they can SEE it's the same as the loose stuff?
