I am selling digital products, started in November and currently have 85 sales, but with ads. My profit margin is 30% after ads and fees. I like the growth with ads but I have to remind myself that the growth is boosted. Still a long road ahead to really get going. Excited for the new year!
This video really resonated with where I'm at currently. I've been doing POD for two years. I have just switched over to the digital world. I joined Baileys group a few weeks ago and I am learning. I'm opening my new shop this week. I would love to join your workshop on coloring pages. Sounds interesting.
That's AWESOME!! I love Bailey's membership. It helps me so much with prompting! By all means-- grab the workshop replay. It was SO good! We just covered all the bases. Save $50 with the code SAVE50 and you can grab it here: www.howtosellyourstuff.com/ai-png-workshop
I’ve never tried to sell on Etsy yet, but I create one of a kind functional abstract art. Since no two are ever the same, how do you list 100-200 physical products? TIA!
Super difficult to sell abstract art on Etsy. It's built as a marketplace where people find things by searching for what they have in mind. It can still work-- but you'll probably need to send your own traffic through social media. OR you can tweak your approach and do keyword research to direct the future pieces you make. Let the customer tell you what they want, and design to that. :) For artists with one of a kind pieces, the listing may be slower going. Consistency at any level you can manage is key.
I’m on everbee right now checking it out for the first time. Newbie here. The free option doesn’t tell you anything. Which subscription do I need for this? TIA!
There is a lot of discussion on POD or finding products that sell on ETSY, What about if you have a good idea for a product and are only interested in selling that one product. Is Etsy a good platform to try to sell a new slant on an existing product?
This is an excellent question---- Etsy is only a good place for that if there is demand OR you plan to use social media or google/facebook ads to send your own traffic to your Etsy shop.
Silly question I know, but since I’m a newbie and technically challenged, I’ve used my iPhone for my personal needs. What is a desktop you recommend for setting up things for Etsy, cricut, designing needs? I need to purchase one to get going on this.
I think that's a great question! I asked around before I chose mine too! This is what I use since my Etsy shop is graphics heavy. It's a gaming computer so it works fast and can handle a lot of data: amzn.to/3DaJglU
@@howtosellyourstuff I was able to get an old laptop up & running. Since I’m new, hopefully that can suffice for now. Loving your course, btw! I’m such a researcher and love learning new things!
@@howtosellyourstuff I tried to access everbee on my iPhone and can’t get to Etsy info. Do I need to buy a computer? I know it’s a silly question, but I have used my iPhone for everything (I’m new to the Etsy arena however)

Slow and steady! :) Once you get some great reviews and badges in place, you'll be able to raise your prices.
Last 2 minutes of you talking is exactly what I needed to hear!!!!! ❤❤❤
So so glad!!!
This is going to be a GREAT YEAR!!! Challenges accepted!!!
YESSSSS! I have no doubt in 12 months your results will be insane, Jason!

I personally have the business plan-- but I think you could start with the Growth plan and get a lot of what you need!

How do I become your student? I need a great mentor!
You already are by being here! :)
Omg 2,000 listings for $5k a month? I’m officially intimidated lol but ready to be a sponge & learn with this old brain!
That's for print on demand or digital products which typically have a lower profit margin. :)
