Over here in PA we get ants in our kitchen too. It's annoying but nothing someone needs to leave nasty comments about. Some people just need to find something to be miserable about. I love how real you keep it. We've had a dozen or so tornadoes touch down. A few years back I watched one from, go over my house and hit the nursing home less than a mile away. Everyone was fine thank goodness but ever since then I get tornado PTSD when it gets real stormy.
I’ve seen one pass right in front of me as well. It’s terrifying. The wind was so strong it was like one of those dreams where you are running but not moving. 😩
I stopped the video to write this comment. I have never experienced ants until moving down south, and thanks to you posting about this ant bait a while back in one of your videos I was able to get rid of them QUICKLY! Thank you for sharing 💜
I get ants almost every year. I hate them so much. There's a treatment I spray around the house to try to create a barrier so they won't come in the house...but it happens. This year, my food stores in my garage were under attack! I had to remove all the items from the shelves, deep clean the shelves after spraying them with poison (I use one that's safe for dogs and kids). Then wipe everything down. I had to throw away anything that had been open, like cereal boxes and such because I couldn't trust that ants hadn't gotten in there. It was such a pain. But you don't get ants because you're dirty and Lord knows you clean your house enough to make any claim that your dirty or your house is dirty a laughable one. I'm sorry you had haters, but it sounds like you aren't letting them get you down, so go you!
I finally got a chance to watch your video. I didn't do any cleaning this weekend. Husband is sick. Yes, I know about potato cakes. My mom fixed them alot when I was growing up. I love em ❤
I just got back from living in a trailer with my husband and 4 kids for 10 weeks 😬 I need all the motivation I can get. It’s so hard not to get overwhelmed when every room is a mess!
I had to laugh at your comment about ants. So, they are uninvited guests at our house every year! It is what it is. The only time we were spared of their presence was when we had the termite treatment put in at our first home. It was wonderful! However, we also had to have termite treatment at our current home but the ants still found their way into our home. Who knows. If there is a way they will find a way to greet you.
My granny was from southern Kentucky, she always made potato cakes from left over mashed potatoes. My grandparents always broke them up into bite size chunks and add them to milk or buttermilk. This was also how they would do corn bread especially if they wanted a snack lol. My granny would always make a fresh homemade white cake and we would eat it warm with no icing, she would always put a little butter on hers
My son loves mash with gravy, I add carrots too, boil, just before about to mash, I put in a bit of butter and milk, num num, and yes have done that with left overs... potato cakes pop into oven for 15 mins
I learned how to cook from my mam and her mammy too, don't waste the left overs, think it just goes back to the days of rashioning, is that word after WW2....never waste food, my granny had butter on everything thing, I now have my grannies butter dish and we buy the butter in foil, so much nicer on toast etc hum, When I would come home from school secondary I started dinner as my mam and dad weren't home from work till after 6pm, I was 16 at time, made Cornish pasties with the roll out dough, just did potato, onion and carrots for mix, my dad was like delish DeeDee you have to make again, he loved them, also can make homemade pizza, home economics came in handy got honours for my leaving cert, should have been a chef🤩I made spaghetti Bolognese for my exam to a tee, even the examiner, went oh that is gorgeous because have to do tasting picked because only had hour and half to make with presentation etc...like in restaurant, think she actually took the plate with her and was eating it during rest of exam😀24 years ago, ye remember that she did

I had ants this year TWICE! Had to call an exterminator finally and used Raid ant traps besides!! Doesn’t matter how clean your house is!! Those little buggers get in ANYWAY!!!😂😂 People need to Get a Life!!!!! 🤬🤬

It angers me that someone would say something about you having ants. I mean WHO DOES NOT GET ANTS?!?! My grandmother was OCD QUEEN and she got ants in her kitchen when I was growing up and so did we at home, we get them now. It’s just part of the season change. I think you are absolutely the sweetest, cutie patootie ever and I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Let them girl, let them!! It’s a must for me with night sweats, kids and pets. No shade, just asking. We’ve had some weather around here, west of St Louis but nothing severe. Hello dear Jessi, I greet you from Mexico, I have a tip for potato pancakes, also add half a cup of breadcrumbs and when you start preparing them, put a little oil in the palms of your hands and that way they won't stick to you, and In the same way, continue adding flour, greetings and blessings❤
Some time ago - we stayed at the most expensive hotel on Disney World in a suite (anniversary!) - and guess what - THEY had ants!!!! - even in the shower!!! (yuk!) - they had to take care of it when we were out of the room one day!!!!
True story I swear…….a few years ago when we were getting new carpet the installers called me into the front bedroom after they pulled up the old carpet. No lie…… there were one hundred zillion ants under the carpet and padding! They sprayed the sub floor with insect killer and laid the padding and carpet. Did they all die? I don’t know. We do see a couple on the window sill each spring. 😮
People just don't know what it's like to live in East Tennessee and it shows lol the ants are out of control and it's not just you. It doesn't matter who you are you are going to get ants out here. I tried the same little traps, but they kept coming in through my kitchen window and even my electrical outlet!! I had to have our exterminator come back out to spray for them again.

People are so rude! Ants are a normal part of life no matter how clean you are! I used to have a town house and the only place ants would come in was my upstairs bathroom window! No where near my kitchen or down stairs at all. Terro ant bait fixed the problem.
When I lived in California my uncle lived next door and we knew when an earthquake was coming because he would find a huge pile of ants in his freezer and the next day we would get an earthquake they looked like coffee grounds in the corner of his freezer

Hi quick suggestion 😊 so when cleaning the carpet cleaner on this model do not spray water down the hole on the right (closest to the cord) that is reserved for the exhaust air and leads down to the motor and the water will rust it eventually!
Ye get ants, they all gather at the kitchen french doors, back garden, we do live in housing estate but there is field just beside us, two horses in that field, ye live in the sticks, just forest around us too
Foliage and heat, we get mad weather here in Ireland, like Indian Summer heat and then rain and high winds, crazy, think we got brink of tornados and such over Atlantic, nights are so warm in bed, it's mad global warming or what😲
Suggestion for your new bed sheets is to get some of them clips you attach to each corner under the mattress I bet Temu have them and they are not expensive even from Amazon. Great video a bit of everything today 💖

I have a couple of sheets that will not stay on my bed. I bought these sheet clips a set of 4. These clips have helped keep our sheets on our bed. I think you should try them
When I have ants I get the Terro ant traps they March in and take it back to the nests and the ants are gone!!! You can get them at Lowe’s and most grocery stores. Having ants in the house is just part of normal life👍🏻
We called them potato cakes. We took leftover mashed potatoes, buttered the outside, and put them in a pan to cook (without oil). I bet they would taste good deep fried. In IN where I live, everyone has ants this time of year. We use the ant baits.
We live in Northwest Arkansas and just a week ago we had 7 tornadoes rip though our area. It has been devasting. Thankfully our house had minimal damage and we were safe in our storm shelter. It's so heartbreaking to see what has happened to our area though. Decatur and Rogers AR got hit the hardest. Our favorite thrift store, businesses, and people's homes were flattened or severely damaged. Prayers to all those who have been affected by these storms.
Southern Missouri here! This is definitely abnormal for the weather this year. There was a tornado in our back yard the beginning of April and it did damage to our roof and siding and we finalyyyyy got insurance to pay for it so we’re getting a new roof and siding soon. But other than that, we haven’t had anymore tornadoes where I live. Ironically, when we have bad weather I always think about you in TN! ❤
I use grits to get rid of ants. Grits as in the food stuff. I have too many critters around our house an this is the safest option. I use it around my peonies too.
I got ants twice, as well, and use these bait traps. My dog chewed one up and I was freaking out. Before even googling it I immediately gave him some hydrogen peroxide to promote vomiting. After that ordeal, turns out it’s not bad in small amounts. Just happened last week.

Jessi, im sorry some people just have to say negative things it makes them feel good. Yes ive made potato pancakes every Christmas until the last two. We call them Latkes, I add finely chopped onions to mine. I doubt I'll be making them anymore. Inlike plain water but ive added apple cider vinegar to my water now it has so many helth benefits. Ants oh yes we use to have them a lot used all natural things to get rid of them. God bless you and your family.💜⚘🤗

I have the Mrs Myers Fresh Grass hand soap, I like it. Our Ace Hardware has tons of different scents I've never heard of. We grew up eating those potato pancakes. Hankie is so sweet. Thank you for sharing!

I had ants, which I had not in this house for the several years I have lived here. Well, anyway... ended up we had a large nest ( not sure if that's what you call it) outside near the house. We treated the nest and did what you are doing with the torro Ant baits. Finally got rid of them. It is just a thing that happens in the summer. You're doing what you can. I'm hoping they will stop coming in soon. ❤

Yeah, we've had ants this year in my kitchen window, same as last year and those ant traps/ bait work great! My husband put the trap on the outside of the house under that window, and they stopped coming inside and went straight to get to whatever they put in them to attract them. I even took some painters tape and put over the seam of the window. Worked great for us! Great video, glad you are better. We had tornados a Lil over a week ago, the town over from us got hit, where my daughters live, but not their homes. There was trees uprooted and snapped and damage to some homes, it was scary for sure!
I have had a sinus infection, double ear infection and strep its been almost a week and im just starting to feel better and start getting things cleaned back up...i feel ya.
We get ants every year, too. I agree, anyone who doesn't is either lying or has never had their own home to clean 😂 Maybe it's less common in other areas of the world, but where I am in Minnesota, it happens all the time.

You are one of the cleanest people there is so I don’t know what the nasty remarks were, but that was not necessary at all and I’m sorry that someone said that to you, but you took it like a champ just ignore people like that and I will not let them steal my joy. She passed away March 3 of this year, but she used to call me every year because she would have these little ants that would come in in her kitchen and she lived in an apartment and the one thing that I got that really really killed them and got rid of them was the ortho home defense, and I would spray the entrance where they came in at, and around the outside and that seem to do it
@@KeepCalmAndClean another thing is if you will put vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it messes with their smell, their pheromones where they won’t track other ants actually will detour them

Foliage and heat, we get mad weather here in Ireland, like Indian Summer heat and then rain and high winds, crazy, think we got brink of tornados and such over Atlantic, nights are so warm in bed, it's mad global warming or what😲

Suggestion for your new bed sheets is to get some of them clips you attach to each corner under the mattress I bet Temu have them and they are not expensive even from Amazon. Great video a bit of everything today 💖

We get ants for a few weeks every year. Same thing at the kitchen window, use those ant baits and they work great. 🐜

I have a couple of sheets that will not stay on my bed. I bought these sheet clips a set of 4. These clips have helped keep our sheets on our bed. I think you should try them

No they are easy. The plus side is I got to keep using my sheets that I just love. And I even bought a couple more in a different color for my bed.

When I have ants I get the Terro ant traps they March in and take it back to the nests and the ants are gone!!! You can get them at Lowe’s and most grocery stores. Having ants in the house is just part of normal life👍🏻
We called them potato cakes. We took leftover mashed potatoes, buttered the outside, and put them in a pan to cook (without oil). I bet they would taste good deep fried. In IN where I live, everyone has ants this time of year. We use the ant baits.

We live in Northwest Arkansas and just a week ago we had 7 tornadoes rip though our area. It has been devasting. Thankfully our house had minimal damage and we were safe in our storm shelter. It's so heartbreaking to see what has happened to our area though. Decatur and Rogers AR got hit the hardest. Our favorite thrift store, businesses, and people's homes were flattened or severely damaged. Prayers to all those who have been affected by these storms.

Southern Missouri here! This is definitely abnormal for the weather this year. There was a tornado in our back yard the beginning of April and it did damage to our roof and siding and we finalyyyyy got insurance to pay for it so we’re getting a new roof and siding soon. But other than that, we haven’t had anymore tornadoes where I live. Ironically, when we have bad weather I always think about you in TN! ❤

I use grits to get rid of ants. Grits as in the food stuff. I have too many critters around our house an this is the safest option. I use it around my peonies too.
I got ants twice, as well, and use these bait traps. My dog chewed one up and I was freaking out. Before even googling it I immediately gave him some hydrogen peroxide to promote vomiting. After that ordeal, turns out it’s not bad in small amounts. Just happened last week.

Yes ive made potato pancakes every Christmas until the last two. We call them Latkes, I add finely chopped onions to mine. I doubt I'll be making them anymore. Inlike plain water but ive added apple cider vinegar to my water now it has so many helth benefits. Ants oh yes we use to have them a lot used all natural things to get rid of them. Everyone gets ants. I use the same bait traps. Ants suck and so do some people. Don't let it discourage you because I love your videos. Also, I'm so happy that you know what potato cakes are, my grandma also made them. I might make them tomorrow. ❤

I had ants, which I had not in this house for the several years I have lived here. Well, anyway... ended up we had a large nest ( not sure if that's what you call it) outside near the house. We treated the nest and did what you are doing with the torro Ant baits. Finally got rid of them. It is just a thing that happens in the summer. You're doing what you can. I'm hoping they will stop coming in soon. ❤
We call them ant hills but I’m not sure what they are actually called? They are pest but very normal! ♥️

Yeah, we've had ants this year in my kitchen window, same as last year and those ant traps/ bait work great! My husband put the trap on the outside of the house under that window, and they stopped coming inside and went straight to get to whatever they put in them to attract them. I even took some painters tape and put over the seam of the window. Worked great for us! Great video, glad you are better. We had tornados a Lil over a week ago, the town over from us got hit, where my daughters live, but not their homes. There was trees uprooted and snapped and damage to some homes, it was scary for sure!

We get ants every year, too. I agree, anyone who doesn't is either lying or has never had their own home to clean 😂 Maybe it's less common in other areas of the world, but where I am in Minnesota, it happens all the time.

She passed away March 3 of this year, but she used to call me every year because she would have these little ants that would come in in her kitchen and she lived in an apartment and the one thing that I got that really really killed them and got rid of them was the ortho home defense, and I would spray the entrance where they came in at, and around the outside and that seem to do it
@@KeepCalmAndClean another thing is if you will put vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it messes with their smell, their pheromones where they won’t track other ants actually will detour them
