      From Tucker's 3 questions I call upon the West to tell what the Black God are implying by these. 1."The gods who didn't create the Heavens and the Earth will perish on earth" 2."I Am God, my Glory I give to no One", 3"Take counsel, it will come to NOTHING" 4."Pride goes before a FALL" 5.Whatever a man sows that he shall reap"6.The Kingdom of God is not a Kingdom of Words but of POWER" Let all the Westerners mirror themselves in light of these verses, therein are hidden mysteries of your judgement and destruction. This kind of response shows Africans are still traumatized by colonialism. Tucker was not asking to take sides but rather which investor was chosen by Africa when 'pleasing themselves' - he literally said 'get a better deal'. You also ignored the personality of Tucker who was happy to give the opportunity for Africans to explain why they HAVE ALREADY chosen Chinese investment over western investment.

      Africa is far from US, nor taking a leader out in africa, will fire up many pther nations Venezuella movement had consequences but better payoffs, doing the same in africa will bring Africa unitied against america and west and other powers will intervene as China have way higher credbility and resources to protect in africa. Unlike venezuella. Very very unlikely mvoement unless leaders openly defy Trump and start taking over american companies or be hostile to americans physically, there is no reward.

Just imagine Africa and South America, the world's two most heavily resource rich continents combining efforts to industrialize, trade amongst each other, and have exclusive co-operation between the two as formally colonized places of the world. Granted it would take some time, but both continents could be calling the shots in this world with absolute command of their resources.

      Actually, Zimbabwe is a failed state. Millions of Zimbabweans have fled mostly to South Africa to find a better life. That policy of kicking out white farmers, who contributed vastly to the economy, was Zimbabwe's death knell.

    • @SHONGA1974
      @SHONGA1974 24 days ago +3

      @leonardolupini3484 I admit Zimbabwe had issues but the coordinated sanctions pushed Zimbabwe to the brink. Just like America has done and continues to do to Cuba. African nations get punished for standing up for themselves / not going with the west. The land belongs to the blacks and there are people still alive who were had their land stolen and were “resettled” to reserves or “keeps” which were not fertile

      @paulynmoneke3764 As a Zimbabwean, I am disappointed with this comment. Maybe it's propaganda that lead people to belive the opposite of reality. Zimbabwe has reached rock bottom in terms of corruption, unemployment, dictatorship i can go on and on but its basically everything. We have no proper state only greed people in power. Civil servants earn 250 usd per month and you call that improvement?

    Exactly my brother. The Tucker's question about Venezuela looked to me like a threat to African leaders. But thanks to the response he got.

    • @AfricaToday1
      @AfricaToday1  28 days ago +1

      You caught it. That Venezuela question wasn't casual - it was "you saw what we just did to another sanctioned president, right?"
      And Mnangagwa's response was perfect: create distance, question the information, stay curious but non-committal. No sound bite Tucker could use against him.
      Smart leaders know when they're being sent a message. Smarter ones know how to receive it without flinching.
      Sharp observation 👊

    You are right on point in your very smart framing. However, if you watch Tucker's podcasts, he frames leading provocative questions, not for his own agenda, but to evoke responses that build tension and reveal the underbelly of the oppressive foreign policy by some countries or international organizations. He went on to interview the deputy president and former finance minister of Venezuela. We have brilliant Afrikan presidents for sure because they gave answers we are proud of. Afrika rising for real

    • @AfricaToday1
      @AfricaToday1  28 days ago +4

      Fair pushback - and you're right that Tucker interviews people mainstream Western media won't touch. The Venezuela deputy president interview is a good example of that.
      Here's how I see it: Tucker's questions can both expose W*sternn hyp0cr1sy *and* carry specific frames. Those aren't mutually exclusive.
      His Venezuela coverage calls out US empire behavior. True. But his China question to Mnangagwa still assumed Africa must choose a patron rather than operate independently.
      Both can be happening at once. Tucker's more honest than CNN about power, but he still brings assumptions to the table.
      Either way, you're absolutely right that our leaders handled it well. That's what matters most.
      Appreciate the challenge - keeps my analysis sharper 👊

    • @Trevormy
      @Trevormy 28 days ago +1

      @AfricaToday1 Got it! You said it well. In fact, Tucker gets lambasted by American media and influencers for exactly the same thing; framing his exclusive interview low-key for a powerful constituency that overtly or covertly is on a political or geo-political agenda. I love it that you are able to dissect it to empower Afrika and her leaders to navigate that ideological ecosystem. You are my absolute global favorite podcast

      @austinlawan3289he was asking which countries "make better business partners."
      Nobody said anything about "needing" anyone. Your response (and the guy in the video) is to immediately get defensive and answer a question that was not asked. Why so defensive? Have you taken a page from isreal and decided that, no matter the context, you are always the victim?
      If anything Tucker was probably trying to get to why many African countries have switched from business with "The West" to business with China and Russia.
      The fact that you took this as "who do you need to be your leader" is very telling about your mentality
