Make a T Rex Arms Balaclava if you're based.
Seconded. Maybe patterned after the unobtanium ARC'TERYX Leaf…

Lucas I owe you an apology. I have been critical of you while barely paying attention to you since you came out in this industry. I've been a tactical guy professionally for over 20 years and I didn't take you seriously. I was wrong and I'm very thankful to have someone like you fighting for America
What is a “tactical guy professionally”???
A professional tactical guy. Hell ya let’s go.
@@96kylar sorry bud, i dont understand
Lucas is a strait up raised right American and is willing to go against tyrants to prove his point.. most in the industry will not.. Glad u are man enough to admit your oppinion was wrong because most can not. But yea I support trex 100% and uts mainly because of his outlook and values supporting America and products being made in America. On top of that he takes pride in his product. His products are top quality
Yep when I first heard about him I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that he is a great guy doing great things. I will definitely buy his products.
First I learned firearms inside and out. Then I took medical emt classes even though I had no intention of becoming an emt. Then I started learning orienteering and land nav. Then I started learning cqb and team tactics. Then I went into night vision training. After that, I started learning homesteading, growing my own food and caning the leftovers, storing and treating well water as well as local water sources, as well as chicken ownership. Then I started learning how a well works and I got into generators and propane storage. Then I started learning how to hunt and store and harvest meat. Then I got a radio license and radios and learned all about it. Then I bought a physical library of books about all these topics. Then we bought a farm 2 miles into protected wild lands. I have 1 neighbor. There are hundreds of wild deer turkeys and hogs. Now I’m learning how to make things with tools and the electrical in my homestead. I stored thousands of pounds of calories in Mylar. I’m storing water now. The giant garden on my 10 acres is coming along nicely. We just planted almost matured fruit trees and we will be completely self sufficient in the next 8 weeks. I started a compost bin to help make my own soil. A greenhouse is going up now. All I can do at this point is homestead and practice all these skills which has been very easy out here. I’ve built rain catchers and a sniper perch for the roof which has. 360* visual for me if needed. I’m starting to go out into the woods and practice as well as go on the flat range as well as practice tactics. I will protect us and my neighbor is great. He started a commune on his 200 acres and there are multiple families living there doing exactly what we’re doing. We already trade items and food and we’ve started working on defensive plans for the road and the woods. Jesus Christ has blessed us beyond my wildest dreams. He delivered me 2 German shepherds that are the most amazing animals I’ve ever encountered. I don’t know what else I could be doing by am always open to suggestions. I wish more people had the opportunity that we’ve been given. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you all and help you through what is coming. In Jesus name I pray for the salvation of all God’s children ✝️🙏❤️✌️
Such a great comment. Congrats on everything you've accomplished. I'm in the very very beginning stages of this stuff, but I'm wanting to do, *_literally,_* everything you've accomplished, along with some other things like solar and whatnot.

A citizen defense industry is based.
But since the government and their subsidy grifter corporate friends don't like it, so ideally we would need our own bank, payment processing, ammonia plant, primer and nitro powder plant, ammo and pew plant. PSA is getting us started there.
But another great idea would be to not attack members of our own community so long as they don't do crime. The 3D printing community is an inportant part of citizen defense.
Defense contractors are trying to sell 750,000 of exactly the same thing under one contract. Civilian manufacturers are competing with each other to sell “my perfect product”, which is slightly different than “your perfect product”, to a few million people who (and I count myself in this group) may or may not even know exactly what we need.
I would change “may or may not” to “do not”. Nobody REALLY knows what they need. They may know what they want, though, which for all intents and purposes is effectively inconsequential to the manufacturer.
@@trentmckenzie343 I’m willing to agree with that.
@@trentmckenzie343yeah it's hard to prepare for the hypothetical situation. Food, energy, water purification are likely far more important than anything else. But as for the cool stuff, the whole "mission drives gear" mantra is overplayed and somewhat pointless in the context it is used, as no one knows what the "mission" will be.
@@steakwilliams4448oh I'd agree... its do I spend the the 600 bucks for plates or do I buy a solar set up. Then in a few months it's the same kind of questions. But at the same time do I need any of this.

I was born in1959. Went to private schools and citizens defending the country considered a high priority responsibility. We trained every day. There was the president’s counsel on physical fitness. We continued it an honor. We had a rifle team. Were were back in the day training Similar to how the Chinese children are training now.
Damn, you just gave me an excellent flashback to when I won physical fitness certificates and patches in school back in the 70s
Why didn't the boomers pass that culture on? Why did they have to rebel so hard against the system that had been working?
It is a team effort. Both sides will, and have contributed.

Re: Non-ex-military dealing with ex-military. The vast majority of military veterans were not high-speed low drag killers of the enemy. I was not, but I have a 214. Be curious and talk to them.
Insurgent/ guerrilla tactics are far more applicable to the civilian defense than text book SUT. I was full time opfor for time, it's amazing what you can do with a squad minus if you aren't constrained by an overarching military structure.
Very well done and thought out. I am definitely interested. I also ask that you look into “Tactical Civics”. Very eye opening about the actual history of America and the militia, and how it all worked. We didn’t have cops back then. We had the militia. I will let you do your own research on this subject.
This is the attitude we should all have.
I would love to see a list, from your pov, as to where an individual could improve to get to the next "level".
I've watched military tactics and info but that just isn't me, isn't US.
Working on physical fitness AND being well rounded - first aid, self defense, financial, spiritual health, food preps... it isn't just 1 thing, shooting guns and having gear. I know I'm concerned about our country and who is protecting me and my family.
Also, preps and training to be a minute man on a budget is hard! It's hard to say that having something cheap is better than having nothing when I can't afford the same things trex features.
Love what you guys do and that a Christian channel exists!!
Idea.
A huge portion of the cost for armored vehicles is labor and R&D.
What if a handful of vehicles were chosen for their appropriate characteristics ( hard to pick out in a line up, cost, durability, ability to support the additional weight of armor)
And then a company made armor components like AR 500 Panels that can be retrofit into a 1 ton work van or truck.
Groups could source a vehicle and retrofit it as they are able.
Some companies already do something similar with bumpers that you buy and weld up yourself.
Keep working, guys. We are all making a difference!
Thank you for all you do. Thankful for you and the other pro 2A channels.

“A well regulated militia being necessary for the safety of a free people” if you want freedom and safety, you need the population you basically be a standing army. This includes the mindset, equipment, and training, equivalent of a modern army.
Freedom isn’t easy boys and girls.
You are in a position to promote such a lofty idea. Time is a function of ability to diagnose stuff. Good luck...keep pushing.
This was a well thought out and classy response, and this concept is a great idea. Lets build this culture!
The idea of pooling money and equipment is something I’ve thought about for a while now. I’ve even had the thought of using that to buy up houses in a neighborhood and move other like minded people into those houses till you’ve got a near saturated neighborhood. That would require very consistent and substantial finances though.
Completely agree. I've had those same thoughts, literally, for years.
Lucas great channel and informative conversations. The Citizen Defense Industry idea sounds to me similar to some of the current private contractor companies that are aligned and called on with our nation's military needs that themselves have some limitations. A Citizen Defense Industry could be described in many ways similar. They would have equipment, training and access to equipment and technology that the average person wouldn't. Just my thoughts but it's a topic I've always been interested in. Thanks for this topic and discussion. Retired Law Enforcement Officer. Proud Patriot
Citizen Defense Industry is great terminology for the Armed Prepared Citizen, which is another term that I like to use.
im with ya but aint armed and prepared pretty much the same thing in this context🤨🤔
Completely agree
@Patel-Chirag-Gupta no in my opinion. You can be armed, and it is your right , the prepared is the above that . This may include more extensive EDC like flashlight , knife medical, ect, and with that, the mindset and training beyond plinking tin cans once a year. Prepared could also be a somewhat prepper aspect such as food and water storage, maybe a generator things of that nature . All the way yo full blown minuteman /militia training with full-blown kit such as battle uniforms, rucksack, body armor , NVDs, various weapon systems , and ect. Hope I properly explained my thinking atleast.

@@NANA-lq5mdRight, for Lucas is not just about looking cool on the internet. In effect, it’s about having an adequate militia for the sake of all rights, not just 2A. This is the only group I know of that is doing what they’re doing.
Most importantly we need a national network where people can reach out for training and info.
The biggest problem if there ever was a civil unrest nationwide will be communication and organization.
If the masses are not organized then they are not effective.
And the difficult part is accomplishing this without looking like a terrorist organization because Americans taking up arms and organizing is the biggest threat to the federal government.
Remember Elon's Starlink satellites: I have heard that he prefers chess over checkers.
I was going to say a network would be a bad idea but they already know who we all are, idk, probably better to go in the other direction and become more anonymous not less so maybe it is a bad idea

If we want to change the stereotype of the “average” gun owner and 2nd amendment advocates….start by getting in shape.
I’m not saying that we need to be like Schwarzenegger but how can one take us seriously when some folks couldn’t hold their rifle up for more than 60 seconds without cracking a sweat.
Not wanting to condemn…if we are going to defend ourselves, families and communities with have to have the physical capacity to do so.
Personal opinion, but I think it is a mistake to dump "radios" as an afterthought in "medical." Comms are crucial when you are out of eyesight of each other, and unless you are just planning on running around with FRS bubble pack radios, it can be a highly technical subject. This is particularly true if you are trying to reach out more than a few miles without the grid or your everyday cell phones.
Dude I’m down for a community like that
Magnets only attract certain things, because it is a magnet.
Same. I've been saying for a long time that a national coalition of sorts should be started.
Like Trex arms has said before if these gun manufacturers don’t want to do business with us if the NFA disappeared guess what do business elsewhere and I bet there will be companies to step in. Vote with your dollar.

@@tombo3425Totally agree love those guys
Lucas, very thought-provoking in a good way! is there a place for senior citizens or women in your vision? We can have The Right Stuff too.
Bingo! I've been thinking this for a little bit, and really want to see the implementation of the fire/rescue squad model being utilized for citizen defense. Ive always thought that the closest modeled the early us militias
Militia is the word. Been around for over 200 years. There is no law that says militias are illegal.
but the thing is, if we have militias or better yet, a militia..
what will be the driving force?
what will be the foundation?
it absolutely MUST have a foundation grounded on objective morality.
because otherwise if morality is subjective,
(to the people in the militia)
you end up with supremist groups which only wittles down our manpower seeing as viewing through the lense of objective morality, a dumbass hoodlum with no knowledge can learn how to shoot well.
and shoot well consitantly.
and if that idea is true,
if looking through the lense of objective morality is good,
(which is is)
then we will not only end up with more people, but we will lessen the people the enemy would have.
and again when you look through the scope of objective morality,
you can clearly see that its better to change who wouldve been your enemy for the better,
rather than having them as your enemies and having to worry about dealing with them later on.
but if they wont change, park em.
That's probably a terrible idea, it would open you up to rico laws and then they can basically entrap you legally

I'm now 70 years old, but started a local militia in my 30's, I can count on one hand the number of months we missed training. We took it serious, and still do, although my situation has changed considerably. We were considered the #1 team in the state of Kentucky... I lead/pushed/challenged my guy's to go above and beyond what would be considered standard training. We were good, because we put in the hours. We were squared away with kit, weaponry and most importantly, knowledge..

The idea of preparing for WROL and SHTF is good but honestly is the least likely to happen. Brass facts came out with a pyrimaid of most likely to happen and what to prepare for. We as the prepared citizen should use this as a guide . rhe idea of guerilla warfare like green berets do is what we actually should be looking like. Just some thoughts
I think the issue with civilians owning things like APCs, machine guns, NV etc all unregistered, is that in recent history we have given up our own security to a third party system or group. So this will be the counter argument of civilian ownership.
To make the larp in the woods look better on camera, have targets set up and use one of those noise maker trip wires the initiate fighting signal.
Love the idea of the CDI.
The CDI isn’t solely tactical. Things like chainsaws, welding equipment, utility trailers, vehicle recovery equipment, and other items are equally important. If a storm hit your down and knocked down a ton of trees blocking roads, could you go out after the storm and conduct route clearance for arriving responders and aid groups?
Yeah, that equipment is useful sure but that's not the purpose of CDI from what I gather. What you're talking about is a mutual assistance group or MAGs. Bear independent explains those very well and the purpose of those types of groups. What Lucas is talking about is a group where the men inside of it would take rounds for the other and have the ability and equipment to do ops/guerilla fighting. Basically, it's a military with less structure of ranks but just men with a common goal or mission.
One could say militia but even then it's not even that. More like the minute men mentality
Honestly, PSA have been champions of the civilian defense industry for years. No government contracts and trying to provide products at a price point that every American can afford to arm themselves. Part of their goal is to "sell as many guns to law-abiding Americans as possible"

Lucas, your ideas are better than fantastic and you are the first person, much less company, that I have heard come up with this kind business concept of civilian defense. They probably won't make it, it doesn't fit what the idea of the AC1 is.
Just some plate holder pouches that attach to the cumberbund would be cool
Citizens need both CULTURE and LEGITIMACY. Legitimacy in a free state is obtained via consent of the governed.
A County Militia that is authorized via a vote from the County Commissioners (similarly to 2A Sanctuary Ordinances) with elected leadership, similar to the County Sheriff. This would provide the government legitimacy, and funding that will allow the side stepping of “military and police only” equipment purchases, allows for cooperation with your County Sheriff’s Department, Disaster Relief and Rescue Organizations. This armed and trained body of men will be inducted similar to a Volunteer Fire Department (just like you said).
I also think that this could allow for bulk purchase of ammo, guns, equipment and government prices resale at significant cost savings with the proceeds being reinvested back into the organizations. This will both fund and standardize the organization onto common equipment. Also sweet deals are a great recruiting tool.
As you come across legal or accounting speed bumps, you can white-paper them and get the county commissioners to vote on a resolution of support to slightly modify the applicable state law to allow whatever your endeavor is. This allows for bottom-up refinement and increasing capability, capacity, effectiveness, safety and growth of the organization.
This is how you can breed the Culture.
We need people that are willing to either learn or already know how to do the less sexy jobs. One of the best examples is comms and encryption. We can't do anything without support rolls.
S2 Underground + Ghostnet is the way.

the biggest issue is people dont have the community. the entire internet is mostly individuals/families who do this stuff and not people who actually make any attempt to build up anything beyond that.
While the idea of creating something like a civilian Robin Sage is a solid one, we're at least a couple decades into an environment where multiple alphabet agencies will have infiltrated, misrepresented, and discredited any such effort before it could actually come together... and created circumstances to criminally charge/convict folks involved (those charges don't have to be legitimate... they will be whatever they make up). They've already made examples of their willingness to do so, and they count on those examples to discourage/intimidate anyone else from pursuing similar ideas. It's going to be a difficult concept to develop.
Step 1 - stop incivility, treat people with grace, especially those that think differently, a divided nation stands no chance against tyranny
But half this nation is actively voting for and supporting tyranny. People who want the current Nanny State are a huge problem.
Commies love it when we stand by.
@BlackDogOriginal Wrong, we just ain't gonna negotiate w/ fascists and yall get out of pocket abt it. Values issue
@@AKsnswitchbladez This country was founded out of negotiation. The founders disagreed deeply at the continental congress on every detail of how the republic should be formed. They united despite those differences to stand against tyranny, not divided.
The biggest obstacle to establishing a legitimate CDI is money. One of the reasons the MIC has so much success is the large amount of money they pay to Congress (via lobbyists). Don't get me wrong, all of the things you mentioned are important however they won't have the same impact if we can't make traction via the legislative branch. Otherwise, CDI = Militia in everyone else's minds. Regardless, count me in. I'll open the South Carolina branch.

When I hear, civilian defense industry, the only thing that comes to mind is a small community (that is one way or another connected to the greater community) Of well prepared groups and individuals. Ready for an unfortunate event, to protect innocence and provide for the innocence (To some extent.) physically, spiritually & mentally.
This is how country clubs were invented
I think one of the things that needs to happen is to change the label "Civilian". It has the connotation of not included. Not part of the group, outsider. At least from inside the agencies and groups that call other people "civilians". Changing the perception of the word "civilian" would take a lot longer than it would to come up with a different term that describes what a person would be when they joined this community. I understand that attitudes need to change, but not associating your group with the word "civilian" would speed things up in my opinion. Besides that, once a person joins one of these groups they would no longer be a civilian. They would be a citizen soldier, (literally) or whatever name you come up with. Which, let's face it, a police officer is just part of a group, (They are civilians too, but they don't like it when you say that which is part of why I think the term "Civilian" has that negative connotation of outsider. I would stay away from the trem "militia" too but that's obvious.
I work for one of these “government contractors” and I disagree with you on one point. I don’t think the perception of my or other companies can be changed by “appearing more serious”. The citizen market cannot compete USG. These companies incentive structure is to make money and the civilian/commercial market simply cannot outspend the government.
Which video was the one that had the book that was recommended?
Any industry provides products and/or services, equipment and/or training. Any organization requires directors, planners, trainers, and logisticians in addition to equipment and services provided by industry. Nongovernmental civilian defense at the organizational level is mostly independent family units with a few neighborhood programs scattered about. Some buy products. Fewer still buy training. Almost none plan, equip, and train because they don't know what they don't know out of a lack of interest, perceived need, or exposure.

I did the 7 day wilderness first responder course and do a refresher every 2 years, i took an emt course and a tecc class for emts where we did a full day training with local police for active shooters, that was really fun.
The wfr course is alright... an emt class would be a lot better. The wfr class has a big focus on outdoor emergencies sure but the primary focus is on patient care and extraction. Emt focuses on anatomy, actual medical interventions and diagnosis which imo is a lot more practical even in outdoor emergencies.

The development of a 9 wk curriculum on the 2nd Amendment and firearms training for high school Junior/Senior level electives.
I think many agree that firearm safety/training in schools would be beneficial to all, but even an extended class will not have enough material for 9 weeks. The class would need to include history on firearms and the 2nd also. It can't be overly propagandist though as the more propagandist it is the more resistance it will meet.
Just a thought.

When it comes to cdi and sustainability for a community it think of how the show the walking dead formed its communities and traded and defended themselves
With our disaster of a Southern border right now with illegal immigration and cartel activity, I would think border states would be the most logical place see these ideas begin to be implemented since they have a more immediate need to defend themselves against the larger forces of organized crime.
