May 2024 - 61st All Japan Aikido Demonstration by Hiroshi Tada Shihan 94 years old

This is a demonstration by Hiroshi Tada Shihan at the All Japan Aikido Demonstration held every year at the Nippon Budokan.
Tada Sensei is one of the leading martial artists in Aikido.
He is a graduate of Waseda University and the founder of the Waseda University Aikido Club. Waseda students, including myself, have practiced aikido under him.
At the end of the All Japan Aikido Demonstration, the current Doshu (hereditary head) of the Aikikai gives a demonstration.
For a long time, Tada Sensei has been the second to last to give a demonstration.
He is now 94 years old, and although he seems to be suffering from a slight pain in his left thigh or left hip, it is a miracle that he is able to demonstrate so powerfully considering his age.
I hope to see another demonstration by Tada Sensei next year too.
