The "grease" spot you're getting, could be Fabric Softener. It's happened to me several times. Washers these days don't use enough water, and the fs doesn't get rinsed out as well. You could be overfilling the washer with clothes and it doesn't let the fs get rinsed out good.
You know Ashley for one people pleaser to another i have learned that when we are constantly trying to please everyone we end up loosing who we are and its not worth that. Its ok to say no and its ok to not feel like we have to please everyone because its only going to make us mentally tired the only people that we need to please or make happy is first ourselves and our family. You stay true to yourself and how you do things is how you should do them not because you feel like you have to please someone on your channel. There is a difference in someone giving advice than giving you a negative comment. Come on people we need to uplift women not tear them down.Ashley you do you and if people think you should be another way they can always go to another channel
And if I may just add to my comment we all know that social media can be brutal but we don't have be we need to support and empower women and mothers like Ashley that is about as true blue as they come don't try to steel her joy she's beautiful inside and out and she gives us real life moments now there are ones on here that are not so honest and we all have come across those content creators but Ashley is not one of them

Hi Ashley hope your having a good day. Try taking your detergent tray out of your washer and try cleaning it out sometimes it gets clogged.

Pull out your dispenser for softener/liquid. Clean dispensers with hot soapy water and use a small brush. Clean the inside of the dispenser location. Once replaced you can pour hot water in those dispensers to see if this helps unclog build-up. My washer did the same and this helped clear up the issue.
Hi there! My clothes used to spot too. I think it’s the fabric softener. Maybe pull out the dispenser and clean? I know it’s so annoying to have to re-wash!! Good luck!😊
Ashley, the spots in the laundry might be because the drum is dirty. How long has it been since you cleaned it? There could be a build-up of detergent, fabric softener, and other laundry products that can result in a greasy residue. Look for some cleaner specifically for the drums or use a cup of white vinegar or bleach through the empty machine on hot water. Make sure to dilute it so it won't mess up the rubber seals and hoses.

Great motivation 😊. I was busy today getting all our bedding washed. I also been decluttering my kids clothes. We are leaving for Portugal Saturday. So excited to be going on a family vacation. I’m trying to clean and tidying up a bit before we leave. I hate coming home to a messy house 😣
I've learned to please myself and my family. Always pleasing others just doesn't work out all the time but if I'm happy and my family is that's what counts the most. I looked on RUclips how to clean a front loader softener not fully emptying. I found big Ted's home gave a great video on how to clean all the parts. Hopefully it will help and the beads could be the problem if they are not dissolving enough.
I love the color of your couches. We looked at similar ones and I loved them! Yes the comments about not making the bed right or some opinion can make you second guess, lol. I'm getting the grease spots from my washer, too and have no idea why!
I had a comforter like that before that made me so hot. I forgot what material it was but I'm a hot sleeper so I didn't like it. Lol

The compartment that holds your liquids come right out and you clean it in the sink. Just pull it all the way you can and there should be a small area on top at the back to push down on and pull it the rest of the way

When it comes to those grease spots you're talking about, we had the same issue and it turned out to be the scent beads. Once we stopped using them the grease spots stopped. Hope this helps!

I am still a people pleaser, but do try to set boundaries for myself now. It is super hard! I watch your videos for motivation and to have something on while folding laundry, doing dishes etc. You are such an inspiration! Cleaning videos have motivated me for years and helped me find out different ways of cleaning/doing something which I find amazing! We are all raised and taught different things and for me, my mom passed away a couple years ago so some things I did not even get to learn from her, but I learn from RUclips videos like yours! Def do not listen to the haters and keep doing what you are doing.

I also heard that the scent beads may mess your clothes up.
I’ve never had that happen to me with my laundry. But then again I don’t use softener. I only use liquid laundry soap and that’s it. Just stop using the liquid softener. I think that’s what it is. And try not to put too many clothes in one wash load. That way the clothes has space to spin around and bump around inside the walls and stuff. If you put too many clothes and it’s stuffed then it won’t be able to move around the walls and gets stuck on one spot the whole time. That way if you leave space the water with splash around better and the clothes will get it’s fair share of being bounced around in different spots rubbing the clothes to get it clean. So do those two things...no softener and less clothes. Just try it. What could it hurt. 👍🏼💕❤️🥰
Ps. I’ve been meaning to tell you that when you clean the bathroom sinks use a paper towel to clean the inside of the sink and throw it away, that’s where people spit when they are brushing there teeth. You don’t want to clean with a rag the inside and then use the same thing to wipe down the knobs of the sink and the whole counter top with it cause your spreading the germs all over. Or use Clorox wipes for the inside of the sink, throw it out and use a new Clorox wipe to wipe down the facet and the knobs and counter. Same concept like you do with the toilet.
I find that when i know that im going to have company coming i will spend a week deep cleaning only for it to be messed up in 5 minutes and then after they leave i have to get it back in order
I’ve heard that happen with the spots when the bearings go on the drum and unfortunately they need replacing, get a guy out to give it a look over. It might be fixable. Worth checking before getting a new one I recon.
Try washing without the beads because they caused spots on my sheets

I heard that sometimes grease stains come from the water inlet hoses...Hot water breaks them down over time and they can cause grease stains on certain fabrics.
You’ll need to get a new washer. I had the same problem. The motor was leaking oil into the drum area. I had to get a new washer.
I always got grease spots on my clothes when I used liquid fabric softener. I stopped using it and have never had issues again.
I only get grease spots if my Stain Remover worked poorly. I usually use specialty Liquid Fabric Softner and I never really had that issue. Low water usage is usually an issue. Luckilly the coin laundry I go to uses more water than the HE washers.
Our washer did that too. It only ever happened on our sheets. So weird. We tried so many things and eventually I got tired of rewashing all the sheets and we got a new washer. We have also stopped using fabric softener and use vinegar instead.
try putting less detergent and see if that helps with the spotty laundry
I always have my washer on extra rinse mine is a lg but very similar to yours and yeah needs a long cycle and like 2 extra rinse they don’t use enough water you should get a speed queen

Hi Ashley always good to See you, when Cleaning use Clorox wipes that will save you from using a Lot of paper towels, also for the washer & dryer when you buy them always get a warranty where you pay monthly and if something goes wrong they will come out and fix it just a suggestion, 🧡🧡

Hi Ashley I think people are so rude there is no way they should judge anyone they need to look at themselves.
Re your washer I clean my washer with bicarbonate soda and white vinegar. Put at least 4 cups each and also some in the dispenser and put on the hottest wash like a 60/90. Hope this helps, Joy from UK
Regarding the issue with the washing machine, I just had to combat the same problem! I poured white distilled vinegar into the tray for the fabric softener and detergent and ran it on a hot cleaning cycle. I did this 2-3 times leaving the lid open to air dry the inside of the machine between cycles. I also cut back on using the liquid fabric softener and ever since these changes, I’ve not had any of those issues when I wash my clothing!

Try not using the scent beads to get rid of the grease spots.
It’s saying the belt is old or moldy gaskets need to be replaced. Hope that helps
For the grease spots, use an ACTIVE TABLET. They're recommended by repair men.

@@ashleyforbes also have you drained out the bottom of your washing machine? There should be a little panel that opens. Pull the black tube out first and get as much water as you can out and then take out the cylinder knob. I do it before I clean my machine and then also after. Good luck

Could the movers have messed up your washer? Something inside might have been knocked out of place or maybe there is an internal leak of some sort?
I wouid suggest pulling the whole tray out and cleaning it. Also maybe stop using the scent beads and see if that helps. You do a wonderful job cleaning your home and taking care of everybody. Don’t listen to the negative ones. Have yourself an awesome week!!🫶

I can only seem to get the plastic pieces that sit inside of the tray to done out but can’t really pull the whole tray out to clean it. I need to RUclips some videos to see if I can just yank the whole thing out to clean it good 😅

Ashley why don't you try washing powder instead of liquid. Powder is the only thing that works in my washing machine. I find the liquid leaves a residue. Worth a try

Are you using detergent pods or sheets? I had the same problem because they would burst or start to dissolve on top of the clothes and leave a stain. The best thing I’ve found is to use liquid detergent and let it dissolve into the water before adding any clothes.
That makes a lot of sense!! I’ve been using the liquid detergent but I use beads… so I started putting them at the bottom of the drum thinking they too were getting tangled in clothes & not desolving but so far I’m still getting stains!
Put the little toy rack nexts to the double bank then you push the bed in the corner it will look better

Hi Ashley you have issues with your dishwasher because of the plumbing? Could the plumbing issue be affecting your wash?
Why don’t you run something through the wash with no detergent etc see what happens. If you still get grease marks it might not be your washer.
To clean the drawer check online how to get it out just input your machine model. I steam clean the compartment when the drawer is out.
As for comments we all have different circumstances so we use different methods you just do you pet.

Have you tried putting in a couple of dishwasher tabs in your empty washer and run it on hot ? 🤔💐
Either the bearings in the washing machine are falling apart or those grease stains could be caused by you using a lot of skin creams, etc. as well as hair products that stick to clothes and they kind of pile up on clothes because they are fat and therefore don't leave with water. And when this has been happening for a longer period of time, those fat spots are always on clothes.
The only way out would be to soak clothes in dishwashing liquid or wash in a small amount of dishwashing liquid in sufficiently hot water. Clothing, especially those that come into contact with skin oils, makeup, etc. should be washed occasionally in hot water to remove grease dirt properly.
Does those grease stains start to come after you started use any new product? That might be reason too. So try to think what have changed same time those spots began to come.
You also told that the towels have a nasty smell. What helped me in this situation was that I washed them hot water and used vinegar for rinsing.

So I noticed the grease stains here & there about a year ago but just recently they have gotten very large and consistent. I was using this heavily essential oiled detergent that was all natural. I wondered if that was what was causing the build up, I have since stopped using it and cleaned the machine numerous times. I can’t seem to get rid of them. Maybe I should try to run a cleaning cycle with a degreaser or dawn soap!
@@ashleyforbes That detergent might be one reason. Many natural detergents contains lot of oils or fats and I’ve heard that many has stop using those becouse of the buildup that gets in the machine.
You can also try rubbing alcohol and water. Make a spray and spray it on those clothes, let sit for awhile and wash in washing machine.
I used liquid that was 1 part alkohol and 5-6 parts water. I started with smaller amount and sprayed little more if that didn’t help.
Hope you get rid of those stains!

The reason you’re likely having the spots in your laundry is the beads ! Also do smaller loads of laundry. I think sometimes it looks like you’re overloading your washer and that will make it harder to rinse the bead residue out properly. Stop using the beads.
