Would have been pointless in the mid 1970s to use stop mo. It wouldn't have 'improved' on what the original did, and in colour the stop mo would have been even more jarring. Love the idea of Peter Falk as Denham though. I can definitely see that.
Don't forget the giant ground sloth woolly rhino direwolf cave lion an American lion don't forget the giant camel the giant horse giant bison American mastodon cave hyena glyptodon❤
Oh Yeah Jim Danforth should use Stop motion animated Dinosaurs 🦖🦕 and Giant Ape 🦍 (Like Ray Harryhausen) for The Goonies 2 film 🎥 sequel that never 👎 got made back in the 1980’s they were supposed to add popular prehistoric creatures like Tyrannosaurus Rex 🦖 Triceratops Brontosaurus 🦕 Stegosaurus Pteranodon Dimetrodon Ceratosaurus Arsinoitherium Kaprosuchus 🐊 Woolly Mammoth 🦣 Giant Gourd Sloth 🦥 & The Gigantopithecus (a.k.a The Giant Ape 🦧 ) but The Dinosaurs 🦖 🦕Gigantopithecus (Half Giant Orangutan Ape 🦧 Half Gorilla Ape 🦍 Hybrid) are going to be stop motion animation by the same guy (who was going too make stop motion prehistoric creatures for The Canceled 1975 The Legend Of King Kong Movie)
Nice lookback, though the Arsiniotherium is pronounced (Ar-sin-o- fear- e- um). Which was also going to be in the originally use in the 1933 film and the 2005 film. Plus despite it looking like a rhino, its closely related to elephants.

Perhaps a cross between Triceratops and Monoclonius (the latter now considered an invalid genus by most paleontologists).

@@kingkraabwithheadphones2141 it's now believed by most to be the same animal as Centrosaurus.
